Hey there! I want to show you another one of the cards we will be a making at the Birthday Card Buffet on April 10th and 11th. I am trying to focus on quick and easy cards for this event. This card combines the Banner Blessings photopolymer set with the Daydream Medallions set and Floral Frames Framelits:

On a VERY IMPORTANT side note, Crisp Cantaloupe, a 2013/15 In Color, card stock, inkpads, ink refills, markers, thick baker's twine, and designer paper will be retiring on June 2nd. The Retiring List will be announced on April 21st, so there will be a lot of stamp sets and accessories on that list, but WE KNOW all of the 2015/2015 In Color products will be retiring because this is the year they automatically retire. Once an In Color is on the retiring list it becomes WHILE SUPPLIES LAST and availability cannot be guaranteed through the end of the catalog, which is June 2nd. A word to the wise: if you love this color or any of the other 2013/2015 In Colors, you NEED to order them NOW!!!!! If you have the inkpad but not the ink refill you need to contact me to order for you or order directly from my online store: www.carolpayne.stampinup.net

Remember, if you order $50 by March 31st, you will also be able to choose a free item from the Sale-a-bration offerings, and will receive a Thank You Project Packet in the mail from me!

Stampin’Up! Sunday Swap Day, Happy Birthday to Me!

Hey there! Today is my birthday! yay! I'm so thankful for another year, my Savior and future home in heaven, my husband, my sweet kids and grandbabies, my stampin' friends, and paper crafting!

Donna and Jennifer surprised me with a cake when they came to class yesterday! They made me feel special, and the chocolate cake was yummy too! (although I'm gluten-free now, I couldn't resist having a little sliver! lol!)

Birthday cards have been arriving in the mail all week!

The first card to arrive was from my dear friend and former downline, Becky!

Becky used Blooming with Kindness to wish me a happy day!

Michelle used Hot Diggity Dog and the What's Up punch. She used a tiny piece of washi tape for the doggie's collar!

Angie sent this gorgeous folding card. She used Flower Shop, Life's Adventure Hostess, and Endless Birthday Wishes:

This card came in an over-sized envelope, of course!

Tudy sent me a lovely fall-themed creation:

And Lisa used Sketched Birthday with Confetti Celebration Designer Paper:

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day! A Mish-Mash of Cards!

Hey there and good morning! I tried to write a post last night but for some reason I was unable to upload pictures. Thankfully it works today!

Today I have what I call a "mish-mash" of cards to show you:

This card was created with a greeting from Blooming with Kindness, blossoms from Petite Petals, Watercolor Wonder Designer Paper, and Gumball Green 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon.

Watercolor Wonder Designer Paper again for the background, with a Tea Lace Doily and a Scallop Tag Topper-punched tag. Stamps from Gorgeous Grunge and a greeting from Perfect Pennants. A medallion created with one of the Starburst Framelits, Secret Garden Framelit, 7/8" Scallop Circle punch, 1/2" Circle punch, and a Large Pearl Basic Jewel. A bit of Gold Foil Sheet an some unraveled 1 1/4" Burlap Ribbon for the tag tie finish this one off.

Raspberry Ripple Petite Petals flowers highlight this Raspberry Ripple/Whisper White confection! Scoring gives the background a lattice-look, and the greeting is from Sassy Salutations.

Monstermaniacs is the focal image for this card, with Just Sayin' greeting cut out with a Word Bubble Framelit Die.

We may still have snow on the ground, but Easter is on its' way! The Decorative Dots Textured Impressions Folder creates the background for the Sweet Sorbet Pennants and image from Eggstra Spectacular stamp set!

Thats all for now. Today is a special day for our family. Ava is being baptized at church this morning! yay!

Stampin’Up! Sunday Swap Day Masculine Sympathy and a Thank You!

It's Sunday, which means it's Sunday Swap Day, the day I share some of the swaps I receive each month from the swap groups I belong to!

I really like these cards!

Sherri Beyrer used wood-planking from Truly Grateful, the moose and "thinking of you" from Walk in the Wild, 1 1/4" Burlap Ribbon, the Tasteful Trim Bigz XL Die, and the Circle Card Thinlet Die for her creation. The colors she used are Midnight Muse, Crushed Curry, Early Espresso, and Very Vanilla.

On the "flip" side of this card she used a phrase from Thoughts & Prayers, and the acorn stamp from Truly Grateful

Raedean Shibata used Island Indigo and Very Vanilla to create her elegant and serene thanks card. Starting with the Label Card Thinlet Die, she added flourishes from Creative Elements, strips of Island Indigo embossed with the Square Lattice folder, a decorative edge from a Finishing Touches Edgelit, Coastal Cabana 3/8" Ruffle Stretch Trim, and a flower and greeting from Blooming with Kindness.

Inside the "flip", she stamped another phrase from Blooming with Kindness.

Well, today is the last day I am keeping Liam this school year. I love that little guy, he's my favorite Liam in all the world! Summer break starts next week, so he will be with his mommy everyday, much to her delight, but I will be back with him starting sometime in mid-august! Right now he is still army-crawling and cruising around the couch, but by august he will probably be walking, even running! I'll get to see him frequently during the summer, so it's all good!

Stampin’ Up! Blooming With Kindness Honeycomb! What’s Liam Up to this Week?

The most popular card at my CampJustWannaStamp! class this past Saturday was this one with the Blooming With Kindness set and Beautiful Wings Embosslit butterflies!

Here's the inside:

This card would be a perfect encouragement, get well, or sympathy card. I inked the flower stamp from the set with Not Quite Navy ink, stamped off once before stamping on the un-embossed Very Vanilla layer, then kept stamping, finally "huffing" on the remaining ink on the stamp before stamping the final few times.

The "Hope is . . " phrase is was stamped in Early Espresso over a stamped-off flower, then punched out with the 2 1/2" Circle Punch.

I've already shown this card on my Facebook Page: Carol Payne Stamps, and it has received more likes than any other card I've ever put on there!
