Button Buddies Class Card #1 & #2!

Button Buddies Class Card #1 & #2!

Ever since the current catalog came out last July, I have been loving Button Buddies. However, for some unknown reason I have stamped with it very little, so I decided that with the free Brights Buttons you can choose from the Sale-a-bration Mini, I should have a class! Here's the first two of the six cards we will be making next Saturday here at my house!

Cherries 1

It's difficult to see in the picture, but the cherries have Crystal Effects on them!

Here's the inside:

I really love the embossed strips on this one for the background:

Punched Glitter!

Punched Glitter!

Much to do today! Tonight is my workshop with Crystal, and I am really pumped! She has 8-12 guests coming to stamp with us, which is why I am checking everything twice to make sure I don't forget anything! (Big confession: it HAS happened a time or two in the 9+ years I have been a demonstrator!) One time I had everything we needed: displays, make n' take packets, ink-everything except the stamps! There was an emergency call to my husband who brought me the stamps, bless him, even though it was a 45 minute drive one way!

This cute little card using "Sprinkled Expressions" from the Sale-a-bration brochure is the other card we will be making tonight. (you saw the first one yesterday) We will use the "punched glitter" technique I learned in San Antonio in January. Don't worry about wondering how to do it, tomorrow I will post the directions for you to download!

We will also use the "Tasteful Trim" die with the Big Shot and "Big Top Birthday" Designer Paper!

Sprinkled Expressions 1

For the inside, I added a phrase from "Daring Adventure" that I fell in love with the minute I saw the new catalog last July:

Well, I'd better scram away from my computer, I have lots to check on before tonight!

Be back tomorrow with more stamping fun! Until then, have a "Stampingrox!" Day!

Project for the Yes, Ma’am’s!

Project for the Yes, Ma’am’s!

Good Monday Morning, Stampers!

Eight of my downline, the "Yes, Ma'am's!" met at my house yesterday afternoon for a time of stamping and sharing. To start off the stamping week right,  today I'm sharing with you the projects I prepared for them to make:

Beyond the Garden Quick Cards
©Stampin'Up!™1990-2012

The box (in the center) will hold the three cards with their matching envelopes and is VERY simple to make! I found the directions for the box on the Stampin' Up! Demonstrator website as part of the Online Extras for the January Stampin' Success, the monthly magazine for demonstrators. Stampin' Up! provides LOTS of ideas and inspiration for their demonstrators, all we have to do is use our monthly magazine for inspiration or go to the website for more instructions! Once I made one, I was inspired to make more!

Here's the first one I made, using our "Simply Scored Scoring Tool", which was almost an exact copy of  Stampin' Up!'s version:

Original box

©Stampin'Up!™1990-2012

After I made this box, I started creating cards to fit in it. I knew I wanted to use the "Mixed Bunch" stamp set from the Occasions Mini along with the Blossom Punch. After I paired this set with "Beyond the Garden" Designer Paper, I had to create a different box to match it! Funny how sometimes what you think you are going to do turns into something completely different, isn't it?

I created a tutorial for this box and cards for my downline, so today I'm sharing it with you:

Download Mixed Bunch Quick Cards and Box

The tutorial includes a supply list of all the stamps, cardstock, ink, and accessories I used to create this project. If you need to order any of these supplies, and do not have a Stampin' Up! demonstrator of your own, you are welcome to go to my Stampin' Up! Demonstrator website to order:

www.carolpayne.stampinup.net

Feel free to use this as you wish, for your personal creations or if you are a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator for your events. All I ask is that you do not sell it by itself online, please keep it free!

I hope to be back this afternoon with a Valentine version of this box! My "to do" list is pretty long, so we will see!

Until later, have a "Stampingrox!" Day!
