Stampin’ Up! Very Merry Tags!

Hey there! I finished the prep for my class later today. I used the Very Merry Tags set from the Holiday Catalog for the tags for the grab bags:

Stampin_up_very_merry_tags_3

Decorative Label Punch, 2 3/8" Scallop Circle, White Cardstock Vellum, and the Perfect Polka Dot Folder to emboss the vellum.

Stampin_up_very_merry_tags_4

Mosaic Punch, Artisan Punch, and a bit of Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details!

Stampin_up_very_merry_tags_5

Petite Curly Label punch and 1 1/4" Scallop Circle punch.

Stampin_up_very_merry_tags_6

The tag may say, "do not open until christmas", but guests tomorrow will be allowed to open these. The tags will be reusable, so someone may have to obey this one!

Stampin’Up! Snowflake Season Ornament Card!

Stampin’Up! Snowflake Season Ornament Card!

Hey there! I had a busy Wednesday, hence the reason I am only just now getting around to posting! I've been asked to present at the Stampin' Up! Leadership Conference in Houston, Texas in January during the "Share Fair" portion of the conference and I had my first "phone rehearsal" today. It went well, and so now I'm on my own to finish my prep until I get to Houston on January 8th. I present on the 9th, so I'm hoping my arrival schedule and their on-site rehearsal schedules will coordinate so I get one more practice before I'm on stage! I'm honored, scared, & excited to be asked, and I hope my presentation (given three times, 20 minutes each session) will help other demonstrators with their businesses.

After the rehearsal, I spent so time prepping Logan's room. He came home today for Christmas break from Missouri S&T. It will be good to have him home for awhile!

After I finished his room and caught up on the laundry, I prepped for a workshop I had tonight. Not too many hostesses are brave enough to have a workshop in December. It's hard to get guests to attend, there's just so much else going on and so much to do this month! I wish more of my stampers were as brave as Tracy! She had 5 people attend and I think we all had a good time! We made two projects: one of the Festive Flurry Ornaments from the kit still available right now, and a card/ornament using the Snowflake Season Simply Sent kit from the Holiday Catalog. We dressed it up just a little bit more:

Stampin_up_snowflake_season_simply_sent_1

The white polka-dotted kraft base, detachable doily ornament, kraft scalloped circle, Real Red Baker's Twine, and polka-dotted kraft envelope are all included in the kit. We added the Real Red 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" card base, Festive Flurries snowflake, and 1 1/4" Scallop Circle.

Stampin_up_snowflake_season_simply_sent_4

We added a 2 3/8" Scallop Punch circle  stamped with a phrase from More Merry Messages.

Stampin_up_snowflake_season_simply_sent_6

After coloring the miniature-size Frosty from the Best of Snow set with Stampin' Write Markers, we added some bling with a 2-way glue pen and Dazzling Diamonds glitter.

Stampin_up_snowflake_season_simply_sent_7

Since there really wasn't any place big enough on the front to sign the card, I added this mid-size Festive Flurry Framelit-cut snowflake to the back to take care of that little problem!

Here's a complete supply list:

Stamps:   Best of Christmas, More Merry Messages, Tags 4 You, Be Very Merry

Cardstock: Real Red, Whisper White

Ink: Jet Black StazOn, Real Red Classic, Real Red, Basic Black, Calypso Coral, & Garden Green Stampin’ Write Markers

Accessories:  Snowflake Season Simply Sent Kit #132176 $14.95 package of 10 postcard ornaments and envelopes.

Bundle Snowflake Season & Be Very Merry Stamp together and save 15%! #133281 $18.95

SNAIL adhesive, Stampin’ Dimensionals, 2-way Glue Pen, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, 1 ¾” Circle Punch, 1 ¼” Scallop Circle Punch, 2 3/8” Scallop Circle Punch

Big Shot Die Cutting Machine #113439 $99.95, Festive Flurry Framelit Dies #132193 $24.95

These ornament cards will quick and easy. I can't believe I hadn't used them until now! I wont' ignore the fun card kits Stampin' Up! creates ever again!

You can shop for the supplies to make this card (yes, there's still time for pre-Christmas delivery!) by clicking HERE to go to my Online Store.

Check out the Clearance Rack Blitz and Weekly Deals while you are there too!

All orders of $25 qualify to receive 4 completed projects from the Christmas Catch-up Class AND Bluesox rewards tokens! It's a double dip! yay!

That's all for now. Unti tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day! More Giftcardholder Ideas!

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day! More Giftcardholder Ideas!

Hey there! Last night my husband surprised me with tickets to see "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever" at the Marion Civic Center! yay! I've been reading the book every Christmas to my family since my kids were little, and even though they are big kids now, they still love it! I do to! It was a sweet production. I always tear up when Gladys says "hey! Unto YOU a child is born!" Gives me goosebumps just writing it! It was nice to get out after being snowbound since Thursday. Roads, sidewalks, and parking lots are still treacherous, and we are supposed to get "snow showers" again today, so church was cancelled for today. Oh well, one more day to stay in my jammies and stamp!

Since I have that new bunch of swaps, I think I will share a few more of them with you today:

Stampin_up_a_dozen_thoughts_1

Rene Watson used the Envelope Liner Framelit Dies to put together her holder (it could also be a card with the greeting page pulling out of the top!). She used Old Olive cardstock, Season of Style Designer Paper, Festive Flurry stamps and Framelit Dies, Cherry Cobbler 1" Stitched Edged Ribbon, and "just because" from the A Dozen Thoughts stamp set.

Stampin_up_festive_flurry_1

This design is the first giftcardholder style I learned to make! Katy Simecka used the Festive Flurry stamps & framelits bundle with Pool Party, Whisper White, the Northern Flurry folder and Silver 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon!

Stampin_up_festive_flurry_2

The unique feature of this one is the Whisper White Medium Envelope that is the working part of the holder. Just fold the envelope in half, cut the flap in half at the fold, stick down the left side of the flap, then leave the right side open to slip the gift card in!

Stampin_up_a_gift_for_you_1

Barb Dykhouse used the Pop n' Cuts Card Base Die, A Gift For You Single Stamp, Crumb Cake cardstock, Season of Style Designer Paper, Oval punches, adn the Label Bracket Punch for her gift card holder.

Stampin_up_a_gift_for_you_2

Simple and easy with the Pop 'n Cuts Card Base Die, just cut out, score a couple of times, and decorate!

Stampin_up_warmth_wonder_1

Ruth Anne Lilley used  Warmth & Wishes Hostess and More Merry Messages stamps, Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White, and Old Olive cardstock, Season of Style Designer Paper, Petals-a-Plenty Textured Impressions Folder, and the 2 3/8" Scallop Circle and 1 3/4" Circle punches for this cute little pop-up gift card holder!

Stampin_up_warmth_wonder_2

Inside she used the Word Window Punch, punching a couple of time side-by-side to create the slot of the gift card!

Stampin_up_teeny_tiny_wishes_1

And last-but-definitely-not-least, Tamie Ackerson used the Pop 'n Cuts Card Base Die again for her adorable Snowman holder! Punches, markers, and sponging were used to create his perky little face, and the Bird Builder Punch does a great job looking like "holly"! Doesn't the Silver Glimmer Paper cut with the smallest Festive Flurry Framelit look a little bit like a sheriff's badge?

Stampin_up_teeny_tiny_wishes_2

The inside features a pull-up greeting, in addtion to the gift card pocket!

Stampin_up_teeny_tiny_wishes_3

Tamie used Teeny Tiny Wishes for the outside greeting, and Wishing You for the pull-up greeting!

Well, that's all for today! Even though we aren't going to church today, I still want to make a Sunday-dinner-worthy meal! Most of my kids are staying snug in their homes today, but Troy is coming over for lunch! yay!
