Stampin’ Up! Touches of Texture!

Hey there! Today I have a completely new and different creation to share with you! I wanted a card that was bright and used a set I haven't used often enough, so I pulled out Touches of Texture and started playing!

I started with a Basic Black card base and then added a layer of Lemon Lime Twist from the Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper Stack. This paper is retiring but not sold out yet, so you can still order it today!

I stamped a Touches of Texture bloom with Flirty Flamingo and Peekaboo Peach ink, then rubbed the blooms with my Embossing Buddy before stamping the centers with Versamark and heat embossing with black powder, which is returning in the new Annual Catalog. I positioned the Layering Oval framelit on the stamped images, holding in place with washi tape before flipping over with the cutting edge facing up to crank through the Big Shot.

I centered the bloom piece inside an opening cut with a scalloped oval from the Layering Oval Framelits. I punched the corners of the Basic Black layer with the Detailed Trio Punch.

I used both the peek-through leaf and the corner rounder of the Detailed Trio Punch on the greeting banner and added a rhinestone for a little bit of bling.

The outside and inside sentiments are from the Beautiful Bouquet set.

Stampin’ Up! Delightfully Detailed Memories & More, MORE cards!

Hey there! My collection of cards created with the Delightfully Detailed Suite in the upcoming Annual Catalog (which begins June 1st!) is about to finally run out. I have a couple to share with you today and one more on Monday (tomorrow, of course, is Sunday Swap Day) and then I am done with this suite for awhile. sigh.

This card has a little bit of everything in the Delightfully Detailed Suite: Delightfully Detailed Note Card, Delightfully Detailed Memories & More Card Pack, Faceted Dots, AND a piece snipped from the Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Designer Paper! Whew!

I used my Paper Snips Scissors to cut out the delicate flower, leaves, and stems, then adhered with Fine Tip Glue. I trimmed a couple of scraps from previous cards into banners to put behind the greeting cut from a Delightfully Detailed Memories & More card.

A simple layered inside is all it needs! Perfect!

This card uses one of the vibrantly watercolored Blackberry Bliss note cards for the base with the sentiment and Mint Macaron mat layer cut with Layering Oval Framelits.

I love this sentiment with the dotted stitching built in to the design!

This intricate border is cut from the Whisper White side of the Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Designer Series Paper. It coordinates so well with the Whisper White 5/8" Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon bow I added with a glue dot!

Stampin’ Up! More Delightfully Detailed Cards!

Hey there! I created quite stack of card for my Delightfully Detailed Suite display at Atlanta OnStage, which is why I keep sharing one or more cards every day!

With this card I really wanted to highlight the Detailed Trio Punch, so I used it to punch all four corners of the greeting panel!

The peek-through leaf portion of the Detailed Trio punch is my favorite, which is why you'll find I use it a lot! I accented the greeting with a stamped-off Detailed with Love image in Blackberry Bliss. I added Mint Macaron Faceted Dots to the center of the leaves. The Very Vanilla 5/8" Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon adds just the right amount of lacy-ness!

Using the Detailed Trio Punch in the inside corners adds so much!

With this card you can really see the watercolor-washed look with the Blackberry Bliss! When I was creating my display the only punch I knew for sure was carrying over was the Lemon Punch, so I used it to punch the "thank you", as well as the Blackberry Bliss mat behind it. I added the tiny diamond strips below the greeting, which are from the border strips in the Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty paper, using tiny dots of Liquid Glue.

I used the Detailed Trio punch again to dress up the inside.
