Stampin’ Up! Awesomely Artistic Class Card Number Three!

Stampin’ Up! Awesomely Artistic Class Card Number Three!

Hey there! Here's the final card for the August Awesomely Artistic Online Class!

What's the Online Class? Every month I create three cards, using the same stamp set, birthday themed. Everyone placing an order of at least $35 (before shipping & tax) by the 20th of the month in my Online Store will receive 6 cards with envelopes, two of each of the three designs, and instructions for free!

To participate in my August Awesomely Artistic Online Class, use this Hostess Code when you order: ASG7GUCR

I used the Brick Wall Textured Impressions Folder to give the card front a "garden wall":

After stamping the floral image with Elegant Eggplant ink, I used a Blender Pen to spread around the ink for soft color. I used the same Blender Pen to color the leaves with ink squeezed onto the lid of the ink pad.

I stamped the floral onto crumb cake before embossing with the Brick Wall folder, and on the "ledge".

I highlighted the blooms with a tiny bit of Gold Dazzling Details.

I pulled  the gold thread from Gold Metallic Baker's Twine to tie through the Very Vintage Button.

Inside I used a sentiment from Butterfly Basics.

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day Awesomely Artistic on Sunday Night!

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day Awesomely Artistic on Sunday Night!

Hey there. This is a late post, but my computer is sick (again!) I'm on a laptop that's super-duper slow. It also needed about 129 updates, which ended up TAKING. ALL. DAY.

This evening I have a few cards from the mail-in swap I participate in every month, all using the Awesomely Artistic set!

First, Ann Betty stamped the dragonfly and flowers from Awesomely Artistic on Very Vanilla before embossing with the Brick Wall folder and cutting with a Tags & Labels Framelit. She stamped the same flowers on the Sahara Sand, then colored with a Pear Pizzazz marker.

Stampin_up_awesomely_artistic_1

Next, Jackie Ordway stamped the "texture" stamp down the left side to give a fabric look. The "thanks" is from the Another Thank You set.

Stampin_up_awesomely_artistic_2

Finally, Laura Milligan used Bermuda Bay, Cucumber Crush, and Memento Tuxedo Black for her creation. Little snippets of White Organza and Bermuda Bay Sequins. OH. MY.

Stampin_up_awesomely_artistic_3

That's all for now. I WILL be posting again on Monday, so PLEASE COME BACK!

Here's one supply list for all three cards. You can order everything from my online store: carolpayne.stampinup.net

Stampin’ Up! Christmas in July, Wondrous Wreath!

Stampin’ Up! Christmas in July, Wondrous Wreath!

Hey there! We had a lovely, uneventful travel day to Salt Lake City, Utah. The 2015 Stampin’ Up! Inspire, Create, Share Convention begins tomorrow, yay!

I only have time for a short post today, but the card I have for you was a favorite of many of my stampers at Christmas in July last week:

Stampin_up_wondrous_wreath_1 - Copy

Blackberry Bliss for Christmas has such a rich, vibrant look!

The woodgrain look in the back ground is not from a stamp, it’s a piece of the Farmer’s Market Designer Series paper!

This set is all coordinated with the matching Wonderful Wreath framelits!

That’s all for  now. I don’t have much time. I have  a swap to participate in early this morning, and then convention begins!

Here’s the link to place your order in my online store: carolpayne.stampinup.net

Stampin’ Up! Christmas in July – Merry Festival of Trees!

Stampin’ Up! Christmas in July – Merry Festival of Trees!

Hey there! As this blog is posting this morning I am on my way to the Stampin' Up! Convention, "Inspire, Create, Share"! I've missed the last two conventions because of new grand babies, which is one of the BEST reasons to not go, but I am super-excited to be attending again!

I hope to post some pics and news as the week progresses, we shall see. Sometimes I get caught up in the "moment" of convention and just soak it up and forget all about posting to my blog, but I will try to post if the internet at the hotel will cooperate!

While I'm driving to St Louis and then flying to Phoenix and then ultimately Salt Lake City, Utah, you can enjoy this card I created for the Christmas in July class last weekend with the returning Festival of Trees set:

Stampin_up_festival_of_trees_1 - Copy

All of the stamps used on this card are in the Festival of Trees set! The cool thing is I could have punched out the tree with the coordinating Tree Punch if I wanted to!

Stampin_up_festival_of_trees_3 - Copy

It takes a bit of drying time, but the Gold Glitz Dazzling Details on the branches is totally worth it!

Here's the supply list. You can order everything to make this card in my online store:

Stampin’ Up! Definitely Dahlia Runner-Up!

Stampin’ Up! Definitely Dahlia Runner-Up!

Hey there! I was planning to wrap up my Definitely Dahlia posts yesterday, but then I remembered I had "one more" card to share with you. This card was the predecessor to yesterdays' Blackberry Bliss Definitely Dahlia card:

Stampin_up_crushed_curry_definitely_dahlia_1 - Copy

For all practical purposes it is almost the same card as the one I ended up choosing for the July Online Class, with the exception I did not sponge the dahlia with Blackberry Bliss ink before stamping and the "splatters" from Gorgeous Grunge are stamped with Crumb Cake instead of Blackberry Bliss.

I  "maybe" also went a little overboard with the Gold Sequins, lol!

Inside is similar too:

Stampin_up_crushed_curry_definitely_dahlia_2 - Copy

I put my strip of Farmers Market Designer Paper directly under the sentiment from Fabulous Four, leaving the rest of the layer to write a personal note.

That's it! You can access all of the supplies to order in my online store: www.carolpayne.stampinup.net

Here's the list. It's pretty much the same as yesterday's card, with a few substitutions:

Stampin’ Up! Serene Silhouettes Inlaid Embossing!

Stampin’ Up! Serene Silhouettes Inlaid Embossing!

Hey there! Last night I went to see the  "Inside Out" movie. It was emotional, as it was intended, but good. The short movie at the beginning, "Lava", was ADORABLE. You should go see them!

I was inspired by Dawn Olchefske to make this card for my Birthday Card Buffet. She used the new "Wild About Flowers" hers, but since I don't have that set I "made do" with what I had on hand:

Stampin_up_serene_silhouettes_1 - Copy

I used Serene Silhouettes, Summer Silhouettes, and World of Dreams to stamp on the three panels with Early Espresso ink.

Stampin_up_serene_silhouettes_3 - Copy

After I adhered the panels to the Whisper White layer I ran all of it through the Big Shot inside the Brick Wall Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. I love this inlaid embossing look! My card went from o.k. to fabulous in seconds!

Stampin_up_serene_silhouettes_2 - Copy

I used the "happy birthday" from And Many More, then punched it with the new Washi Label Punch. I layered the greeting over  the Early Espresso 1/2" Seam Binding ribbon with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Stampin_up_serene_silhouettes_4 - Copy

I love this sentiment from World of Dreams. Isn't that just the way our best friends are for us?
