Stampin’ Up! Something to Say Punch Minion!

Stampin’ Up! Something to Say Punch Minion!

Hey there!

Today I have another project for my "Be Mine" Valentine Class next week; an adorable little punch Minion treat holder!

Stampin_up_mini_treat_bag_minion - Copy

As some of you know, I make Valentines with my school-age grandchildren every year. Maddie Kate & I started this tradition when she was in kindergarten. Alas, she is now a freshman in high school and has decided she doesn't "need" any Valentines. I'm a little sad, but right now I have Ava, Cohen, and Jaxon to make Valentines with, and I have Liam, Oakley, Lando, and Darcy waiting in the wings! lol!

I've found a lot of punch minion ideas on the web, so I took a "little bit of this and that", plus a jumbo google eye I have in my stash, to create my little fella. I used the Mini Treat Bag Die, using only the smaller section of the die to cut two identical pieces to create a narrow little pouch just the right size to slip an flat Airhead candy into!

Here's the supply list. You can order everything you need from my online store: www.carolpayne.stampinup.net

Stampin’ Up! Butterfly Basics for Linda!

Stampin’ Up! Butterfly Basics for Linda!

Hey there! Sunday was a snowy day, so I decided to just to play with my stamps, something I hardly ever do. I created this birthday card I mailed to my downline Linda Reaney:

Stampin_up_spring_flowers_3 - Copy

I used the Spring Flowers Textured Impressions Folder, Butterflies Thinlets Dies, and assorted punches.

Stampin_up_spring_flowers_5 - Copy

I white heat embossed the larger butterfly image from Butterfly Basics, then punched with the Elegant Butterfly Punch. I sponged both butterflies with Melon Mambo ink. The pearls are colored with the Melon Mambo Blendability marker, which currently is unavailable to order due to quality issues. Hoping these will be available again soon!

Stampin_up_spring_flowers_4 - Copy

Both white layers were embossed with the Spring Flowers folder using a technique to selectively omit the center embossing.

We will be making this card in the March Online Card Class!

To participate in this class, all you have to do is place an order of at least $35 in my online store: http://www.stampinup.net/esuite/home/carolpayne/ using this Hostess Code: SVRYFV26  by March 15th!

Place your order of at least $35 (before tax and shipping) by the 15th of the month using the Hostess Code listed above and you will receive a class packet via mail from me with supplies and  instructions to create 6 Birthday Cards, two each of 3 different designs. Your Stampin' Up! product order ships direct to you, and your Class Packet will be mailed to you around the 26th of the month.

Participate in the class for 6 consecutive months, you will receive from me your choice of either 1 (one) Stampin' Up! stamp set of any value  or 2 (two) Stampin' Up! Hostess sets from any current catalog.

Here's your supply list to make this card:

Stampin’Up! Calling All Heros for Ben!

Stampin’Up! Calling All Heros for Ben!

Hey there! August in the Payne family means SIX birthdays! We start the month with Liam, then Ava, Kimberly, Ben, me, and finish up with Cody! Liam and Ava had parties that included both sides of their families (grandparents and friends), but we always try to get all the Payne Clan together one Sunday to celebrate the month's birthdays. Right now we have no birthdays in January, March, April, & June, but Alisa's new little one will most likely fill in January, so soon we may have a birthday celebration every month of the year!

Ben has always liked superheros, so I used the Calling All Heros set to make a grown-up card for him. You can see the little-guy card I made for Liam HERE.

Stampin_up_calling_all_heros_1

The Circle Card Thinlets Die set was perfect for this card. The star thinlet is included in the set, and the Calling All Heros contains the alphabet!

The Stampin' Pierce Mat is an ESSENTIAL help when you are stamping with photopolymer stamps like these!

Stampin’ Up! It’s Sunday Swap Day with Something for Baby!

Stampin’ Up! It’s Sunday Swap Day with Something for Baby!

Hey there! It's Sunday, which means it's time to share some swaps! I know I've been absent from my blog quite a bit this week. Part of the reason is I broke my camera lens a few weeks ago and now when I take pics with my little point-and-shoot I'm just not happy with them at all. A new lens has finally been ordered, so hopefully it will come in soon and I can get my blogging mojo back.

Today I have three baby cards to share, all using the new set, Something for Baby!

First, Raedean Shibata created this simple congratulations card, including paper-piercing using a template from the Festive Paper Piercing pack and a greeting from Something to Say. She paired Crisp Cantaloupe cardstock with a selection from the Lullaby Designer Paper pack.

Stampin_up_something_for_baby_1

She used Crisp Cantaloupe and Hello Honey Stampin' Write Markers to ink the bib stamp. Sooooo cute!

Next, a much larger image from Something for Baby was used for this card, which unfortunately I have lost the creator's info. Some swappers attach their info on the back of the card on a post-it note, which helps me keep the name with the card, but some do not. If it's just loose with the card, it's much more likely to get lost as I take the swaps with me to workshops and classes.

Stampin_up_something_for_baby_2

This card features just Whisper White and Daffodil Delight. Just two colors, but it makes a very visually pleasing look! The rhinestones were colored with one of the Daffodil Delight Blendability markers, which should finally be available in a few weeks.

Lastly, I CASED this card from Deb Valder. Deb makes the most amazing cards. I stepped up just a few things, but I'd definitely going to be making more cards with this template, and I know you are going to want to know how!

Stampin_up_something_for_baby_block_2

This card stands up on it's own and is called a "block card". Doesn't it look just like a stack of baby blocks? Images from Something for Baby were cut with the coordinating Baby's First Framelits.

Stampin_up_something_for_baby_block_1

(Please pardon the sawdust. Apparently we have wood bees trying to make a home in our deck roof!) I cut the numbers with the "1, 2, and 3" from the File Tabs Edgelits Dies.

Stampin_up_something_for_baby_block_3

Pretty, pretty, pretty!

On the top blocks I stamped more phrases from Something to Say:

Stampin_up_something_for_baby_block_4

The tiny little hearts were punched with the Owl Builder Punch.

Stampin’ Up! Sea Street!

Stampin’ Up! Sea Street!

Hey there. It's "Liam week" here at my house! His mommy is a counselor at church camp this week, so starting today he is my little buddy until sometime on Thursday afternoon. We've had time playing with the kittens, watching the trains go by, and had a bath because "we" ran off into the foliage and may have gotten into some poison ivy. And that's  all before lunch! He's taking a nap right now, so I have a minute to blog!

I posted these to Facebook and Instagram already, but I wanted to share these with you too. We have a "kitten cage" we put our motherless kittens in at night to protect them from coyotes and possums. Liam decided it would be fun to check it out:

10464016_10202105395217011_4645851010392631786_n

He decided to close himself in!

10398086_10202105385816776_1799729835604877098_n

It's so much fun to be a little kid, isn't it?

We made this Sea Street card at my Birthday Card Buffet this past Saturday. I combined the two Sea Street cards from yesterdays' post HERE to create this card.

Stampin_up_sea_street_1

We used Sea Street, Remembering Your Birthday, and Something to Say with the Circle Card Thinlet Die.

Stampin_up_sea_street_2
Night of Navy, Real Red, Whisper White cardstock, Maritime Designer Paper, with Night of Navy, Real Red, and Pool Party ink.

We extended the card to make an extra flap by inserting the cardstock both under and over the edges of the Circle Card Thinlet Die like this:

Stampin_up_sea_street_3

After cutting we used the Simply Scored Scoring Board to score the extra fold for the flap:

Stampin_up_sea_street_4

It's a fun card! We will be making this card again at some of my workshops and parties this month!

Here's the supply list. Click on any image and you will be taken to My Online Store where you can shop and order:
