Stampers Dozen Blog Hop Christmas in July!

Hey there! Welcome to the Stampers Dozen Blog Hop! Our July theme is Christmas in July. The past week I've been sharing cards we'll be making at my Christmas in July Stamp Camp on July 28th. We won't be making today's card at that class, but it will be available for peeps to choose to make at classes and parties this fall!

I used the new Love You To Pieces Bundle of stamps and framelits to create my card:

Stampin_up_love_you_to_pieces_carolpaynestamps1

The framelits cut an actual puzzle! I'm really excited to play with this bundle some more!

Stampin_up_love_you_to_pieces_carolpaynestamps2

I embossed the Shaded Spruce puzzle frame with the Tufted folder. "Love You" is from Love You to Pieces.

Stampin_up_love_you_to_pieces_carolpaynestamps3

Inside I added a phrase from Better Together.

Stampin’ Up! One For All Diagonal Fold!

Stampin’ Up! One For All Diagonal Fold!

Hey there! Today I have a pair of cards with a Diagonal Fold. I used One For All stamps, Subtles 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper, and my Stampin' Trimmer:

Stampin_up_one_for_all_carolpaynestamps1

One side of this Pool Party design is stripes, the flip side is tiny polka-dots!

Stampin_up_one_for_all_carolpaynestamps2

This fold still gives you two card bases from one sheet of 8 1/2" x 11" paper.

Stampin_up_one_for_all_carolpaynestamps4

My second card is landscape with the same fold!

Stampin_up_one_for_all_carolpaynestamps5

It's hard to see the Clear Wink of Stella on the Melon Mambo hearts. I used a Light Lovely Lipstick Stampin' Blends Marker to color the pearls in the corners.

Stampin_up_one_for_all_carolpaynestamps6

I used Stampin' Write Markers to ink the inside sentiment.

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day June 24th!

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day June 24th!

Hey there! Today is the last Sunday in June! I can't believe how fast this month has flown! Today I have a few fun swaps to share that are all made with new catalog goodies!

First, Laura Milligan combined the new Around the Corner set with Varied Vases stamps and Nature's Poem Designer Series Paper, punching with the 1/2" Circle Punch and adding a single rhinestone and a bow tied with Natures Twine.

Stampin_up_around_the_corner_carolpaynestamps1

Next, Mary Lang combined Enjoy Life and Rooted in Nature sets for her lovely landscape:

Stampin_up_enjoy_life_carolpaynestamps1

Carol Slack went with a rather monochromatic look of Mint Macaron, Tranqui Tide and Very Vanilla. She used the new In Every Season set for her focal image, Vertical Greetings for the sentiment, Petal Pair Textured Impressions Folder for texture, and Nature's Poem Designer Series Paper.

Finally, Cathy Miller used the Peaceful Reflection set with Mint Macaron, Very Vanilla, and Night of Navy, cutting and framing the window with Layering Circle Framelits. She used a sentiment from Love What You Do, and added pearls and Night of Navy 1/2" Gingham Ribbon.

Stampin’ Up! Mistletoe Season for July Creative Class!

Stampin’ Up! Mistletoe Season for July Creative Class!

Hey there! I have a new grandbaby due in the middle of July, so I'm already planning my July Creative Class: Christmas in July! The card uses new Mistletoe Season and Under the Mistletoe Designer Series Paper:

Stampin_up_mistletoe_season_carolpaynestamps1

I used a Gold Library Clip at the top of the "tag", which are part of the Under the Mistletoe Suite. Yes, the clip would be hard to mail, unless you were shipping a boxed gift along with it, but there are many other uses for these shiny gold clips! Closing treat bags and boxes, on a magnet for the fridge; I'm sure we can think of more!

I love, love, love this plaid designer paper!

Stampin_up_mistletoe_season_carolpaynestamps2

Inside I stamped the sentiment, then embossed with the new Seasonal Wreath Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, which is also from the Under the Mistletoe Suite. It embosses a wreath that can be used for any season or occasion: spring, fall, Christmas, winter! Love it!

Stampin’ Up! Accented Blooms!

Stampin’ Up! Accented Blooms!

Hey there! The excitement is building for the New Annual Catalog, which will be "open for business" on June 1st! I've shared with you several new sets and suites, from Share What You Love (Bundles are still for sale through May 31st, and then they will  be gone) to Animal Outing. Today I have a card created with Accented Blooms, a lovely set that coordinates with the Tailored Tag Punch, a carry-over from the Occasions Catalog!

I'm very excited that Black Embossing Powder is returning to the new catalog, so I used it to emboss the flowers and the sentiment image for my card.

Stampin_up_accented_blooms_carolpaynestamps1

This image is designed with an opening built in to layer the greeting, which I embossed with black powder and punched out with the Tailored Tag Punch. I used a sponge dauber to add So Saffron, Mint Macaron, Powder Pink, Highland Heather, and Flirty Flamingo to the blooms.

Stampin_up_accented_blooms_carolpaynestamps2

I embossed the Highland Heather background layer with the Lovely Floral Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.

Stampin_up_accented_blooms_carolpaynestamps3

I black heat-embossed an Accented Blooms greeting and repeated the dry embossing with the Lovely Floral folder.

Stampin_up_accented_blooms_carolpaynestamps4

Because the Tailored Tag Punch has already been bundled with the Truly Tailored stamp set in the Occasions Catalog it won't be bundled with Accented Blooms in the New Annual Catalog. However, you can still order the Truly Tailored Bundle through May 31st or while supplies of the stamp set last!

Consider the  “Share What You Love” Sneak Peek Bundles, only available through May 31st!

Stampin’ Up! Alaska Achiever’s Blog Hop May 2018!

Stampin’ Up! Alaska Achiever’s Blog Hop May 2018!

Hey there! Welcome to the Alaska Achiever's Blog Hop! Our May theme is the Share What You Love Bundles!

Alaska Achievers

I've created a bunch of cards with the "Gotta Have It All Bundle" for my Share What You Love Stamp-a-Stack this weekend, but this one is just for this hop!

Stampin_up_share_what_you_love_carolpaynestamps1

I punched a Share What You Love print and Blackberry Bliss cardstock with the retired-and-sold-out 1 3/8" Circle Punch, but a 1 1/4" or 1 1/2" circle punches would work as well. I layered the circles on the Mint Macaron layer embossed with the Petal Burst folder.

Stampin_up_share_what_you_love_carolpaynestamps3

This Share What You Love print has so many cute little mini-images in it. It was fun to pick out the ones I liked best! I added coordinating Share What You Love Artisan Pearls to a bloom on each circle. The Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon is soooo pretty!

Stampin_up_share_what_you_love_carolpaynestamps2

I off-set the coordinating Blackberry Bliss circle for a less structured look.

Stampin_up_share_what_you_love_carolpaynestamps4

I punched more prints from the Share What You Love paper with a 3/4" Circle Punch to frame the Love What You Do sentiment.
