Stampin’ Up! Retiring Favorites!

Hey there! I've decided to start my "best of retiring" posts early this year. The Retiring List has been published, so rather than waiting till the end of May to share some of my favs, I've decided to share early so you have time to order before things get sold out!

Stampin’ Up! Yes Mam! Stamper Martha Swift’s Stunning But Easy Creations!

Hey there! As promised, today I'm sharing the creations my team member, Martha Swift, shared with us at our team meeting earlier this week!

First, a Whisper White Thick card base with a layer of Garden Green. Add a pre-printed card from Santa's Workshop Memories & More Card Pack to a Whisper White layer, then adhere to the Garden Green . Stamp a Mistletoe Season greeting with Garden Green, then cut with a Stitched Labels Framelit. The Christmas Pines holly was stamped with Garden Green with Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels added for the final touch.

Martha continued with the same layout and another Santa's Workshop Memories & More Card Pack piece, this time using Poppy Parade for the background. Such a stunning but deceptively easy card!

Martha's favorite background stamp is the Buffalo Check, so she inked it with Garden Green ink to stamp on Whisper White, then embossed the Whisper White Thick card front with the Swirls & Curls Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. LOVE it!

And finally, the swap I made from her "shoebox". This one also used a Santa's Workshop Memories & More card:

Whisper White Thick card base: 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored & folded at 4 1/4"

Solid color card stock layer: 4" x 5 1/4"

Whisper White layer: 3 1/4" x 4 1/4"

Layer to stamp or the Memories & More Card Pack: 3" x 4"

Whisper White to stamp the greeting and cut with the framelit: 3 1/2" x 4"

Last Batch of the Alaska Christmas Swaps!

Hey there! I know I had posted previously what I thought were the "last of the Alaska Cruise Christmas swaps, but as I was finishing my categorizing I discovered more! yay! I love Christmas card making! Christmas is my favorite holiday and Christmas cards are my favorite to make!

Stampin’ Up! Mistletoe Season for July Creative Class!

Hey there! I have a new grandbaby due in the middle of July, so I'm already planning my July Creative Class: Christmas in July! The card uses new Mistletoe Season and Under the Mistletoe Designer Series Paper:

I used a Gold Library Clip at the top of the "tag", which are part of the Under the Mistletoe Suite. Yes, the clip would be hard to mail, unless you were shipping a boxed gift along with it, but there are many other uses for these shiny gold clips! Closing treat bags and boxes, on a magnet for the fridge; I'm sure we can think of more!

I love, love, love this plaid designer paper!

Inside I stamped the sentiment, then embossed with the new Seasonal Wreath Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, which is also from the Under the Mistletoe Suite. It embosses a wreath that can be used for any season or occasion: spring, fall, Christmas, winter! Love it!
