Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day December 23rd, Dashing Deer!

Hey there! On this last Sunday before Christmas I need to share with you a bunch, and when I say bunch I mean BUNCH, of NINE cards created with the Dashing Deer Bundle from the Holiday Catalog. This stamp set and framelits, ARE NOT retiring on January 2nd like so many other Holiday Catalog products are, but the bundle discount IS going away on that date!

The creator of this first card embossed the Pear Pizzazz frame cut with a Layering Oval Framelit with the Subtle Dynamic Textured Impressions folder, then added monochromatic accents cut with a Detailed Deer Framelit. She created the snowy scene with Pool Party and Whisper White card stock, then added "snow" with Embossing Paste. This card is CASED from page 8 of the Holiday Catalog!

Another CASE from the same page with Festive Farmhouse and Wood Textures Designer papers, Detailed Deer Framelits, and Detailed Poinsettia Thinlits. Clear & Frosted Epoxy Droplets were colored with Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Blends for the holly berries.

This sample makes good use of the "generation" stamping technique to get three shades of the deer by inking once and stamping three times. The focal piece was embossed with the Corrugated Dynamic Textured Impressions folder.

This card features the Buffalo Check background stamp heat embossed with gold and the Pretty Label Punch for the greeting.

With the Dashing Deer stamp set along you can make a lovely simple card:

Add the Detailed Deer Framelits, Swirls & Curls Textured Impressions folder, Layering Circle framelits, and Copper Foil for a more stepped-up look:

Or use the Sprig Punch to step-it-up even more!

Finally, this card features an Old Olive background embossed with the Tufted Dynamic folder, Gold Foil and Gold Glimmer paper, and a layer of Under the Mistletoe Designer Series Paper from the Annual Catalog.

Carol Payne Stamps Winter Woods!

The Winter Woods bundle coordinates with both Lovely as a Tree and Rooted in Nature.

Wendy Lee created her swap with Winter Woods, Corrugated Dynamic Textured Impressions Folder, and Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper. She backed the greeting with a vellum banner, Burlap ribbon, and new Galvanized Metallic Paper embossed with the Tin Tile Dynamic Textured Impressions Folder:

Jan Rodrian used the Faux Marbling technique on glossy card stock before stamping with the Winter Woods trees.

Kathy Johnson also used Winter Woods to create a super-easy but impressive Christmas card with the Softly Falling folder embossing the background, Red Rhinestone Jewels, and a bit of Under the Mistletoe Designer paper.

She cut out the trees and added depth with the In the Woods Framelits:

Stampin’ Up! Last of the Alaska Christmas Swaps!

Hey there! Today I'm sharing the last of the Christmas-themed swaps from the Alaska Cruise, but don't worry, with almost 400 demonstrators swapping, I'm not nearly finished sharing! With my days this week and next taken with helping out with the new baby, the cruise and the swaps couldn't have come along at a better time!

This card is a lovely pairing of Mistletoe Season, Under the Mistletoe Designer Series Paper, and Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels!

At first glance the Rooted in Nature Bundle seems like a fall set, but it makes beautiful poinsettias! The creator used Nature's Poem Designer paper for a lovely muted background, and a Christmas Pines greeting.

Stylish Christmas takes a slightly non-traditional look with a paring of new Merry Merlot and Mossy Meadow colors, both new to the Neutrals Color Family!

Stampin’ Up! Mistletoe Season for July Creative Class!

Hey there! I have a new grandbaby due in the middle of July, so I'm already planning my July Creative Class: Christmas in July! The card uses new Mistletoe Season and Under the Mistletoe Designer Series Paper:

I used a Gold Library Clip at the top of the "tag", which are part of the Under the Mistletoe Suite. Yes, the clip would be hard to mail, unless you were shipping a boxed gift along with it, but there are many other uses for these shiny gold clips! Closing treat bags and boxes, on a magnet for the fridge; I'm sure we can think of more!

I love, love, love this plaid designer paper!

Inside I stamped the sentiment, then embossed with the new Seasonal Wreath Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, which is also from the Under the Mistletoe Suite. It embosses a wreath that can be used for any season or occasion: spring, fall, Christmas, winter! Love it!
