Stampin’ Up! Fresh Freesia Art Gallery!

Hey there! Yesterday I had a great time stamping with a group of women at Margaret Frazier’s house in Salem, IL, which is why I was unable to post yesterday. I have been having a few small group stamping events over the past couple of years, but this one was attended by 9 ladies, which was soooo nice!

The card I’m sharing today we didn’t get to make at the class, but I will be sharing the card we made like it here on Monday. Today’s card was created with the Art Gallery Bundle, which is on sale this month for 20% off, and one of my favorite In Colors, Fresh Freesia. I also used the book-binding fold that I have recently discovered and am currently loving!

I stamped the stems with Soft Succulent ink directly on the white layer before embossing with the Ornate Floral 3D embossing folder. I cleaned the stamp and then stamped with Fresh Freesia on a white scrap before cutting with the matching Floral Gallery die. I popped the blooms over the stamped ones with dimensionals.

This greeting, stamped with Rich Razzleberry ink, is from the Flowering Tulips stamp set. I embellished the card front with a few Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

Inside I used another phrase from Flowering Tulips. I stamped the blooms again with Fresh Freesia.

Stampin’ Up! Honeybee Home!

Hey there! Today’s card was inspired by a swap I posted last Sunday created by Karen Davis. My card is very similar, but I added touches to it that is called “stepping-it-up” to feature a few more products at a workshop I am doing later this week.

I used the Honeybee Home stamp set, which comes in a bundle with Honeybee Blooms dies (even though I didn’t use any of the dies on this card). I used Bumblebee card stock and Bumblebee ink to stamp the background layer. I sandwiched a layer of Basic Black between the stamped Bumblebee layer and the Bumblebee card base.

I stamped the bee with Tuxedo Black ink, then colored him with Bumblebee Stampin’ Write Marker. I stamped him on the 3″ x 3″ white focal image layer, then cut with one of the Beautiful Shapes dies. I embossed a 2 3/4″ x 2 3/4″ square of So Saffron with the Hive 3D embossing folder to put behind the opening. I added a bow tied with Black & White 1/4″ Gingham Ribbon for a pop of color. It’s hard to see in the picture but I added Clear Wink of Stella to the bee’s wings.

I added a gold Bumblebee Trinket with a glue dot.

Inside I stamped the background card base with the same Bumblebee ink, then added another Honeybee Home sentiment (the one of the front is from the set too), flowers, and bee.

Stampin’ Up! Hand-Penned for Faith!

Hey there! Today's card is the last one in the stack I made for February birthdays in our family. I used the Hand-Penned Petals bundle with Symbols of Fortune Specialty Designer Paper and the Macrame 3D Embossing folder to create this card for my daughter-in-law Faith! I feel like this Hand-Penned bloom goes well with the blooms on the 3/4" x 4 1/4" strip of Symbols of Fortune paper!

I used a "book-binding" fold, scoring my Soft Succulent 4 1/4" x 11" base at 4 1/2", 5 1/2", and 6 1/2".

I stamped the blooms from Hand-Penned Petals with Soft Succulent ink, then stamped the blooms with stamped-off Calypso Coral and the leaves with stamped-off Soft Succulent. I used a Soft Succulent Stampin' Blend to color the stem. After cutting with a Penned Flowers die I added it to the Crumb Cake layer (embossed with the Macrame 3D embossing folder) with dimensionals.

I heat embossed the greeting from the just-retired Calming Camellia with white powder on Soft Succulent, then cut it with one of the greeting dies from the Bouquet of Love Hybrid Embossing Folder Dies. I added a few Genial Gems for the finishing touches.

Inside I used a phrase from Sunny Sentiments.

Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers for Savings Are In Bloom!

Hey there! It’s a new month, and while I think our March here is coming in like a lamb, there are a whirlwind of specials going on with Stampin’ Up! this month! My card today was created with the Celebrate Sunflowers Bundle before I learned about the “Savings are in Bloom” special, so I am so excited to be able to share a new card with you created with one of the bundles that are 20% off this month!

I cut the sunflower layers from Expressions in Ink Specialty paper as well as from Basic White. I mounted it on a Basic White layer cut with the largest Stitched Rectangle die and then embossed with the Stitched Greenery Die. I added a Gold Foil center, Just Jade leaves, and Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels to accent.

I stamped the greeting from Celebrate Sunflowers with Just Jade ink on a 1″ wide strip of white, then punched one end with the Banners Pick a Punch. I mounted it on a 1 1/8″ strip of Mint Macaron to coordinate with the layer I put between the Magenta Madness base and the white front layer.

Inside I used another sentiment from Celebrate Sunflowers and added a pop of color by cutting the Expressions in Ink Specialty paper with a smaller Sunflowers die. I also added another print from the Expressions in Ink Specialty to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Hats Off For Mark!

Hey there! Today I'm sharing the birthday card I created for my kids to give to their daddy with his birthday present. I used the Hats Off Bundle and Give It A Whirl Dies!

I adhered a piece of In Good Taste Designer Paper to the front Early Espresso layer before I cut it with the Give It A Whirl die. I cut the "window" next, then added the stamped the sentiments and stars through the window.

I love this phrase from Hats Off!

I cut the hat from Mossy Meadow, stamped with Mossy Meadow ink. I repeated the gold stars, cut from gold foil, with Hat Builder dies.

Inside I stamped this sentiment from the Sunny Sentiments stamp set in Early Espresso ink and added the adorable miniature cap from the die set!
