Stampin’ Up! Just Saying Hello!

Stampin’ Up! Just Saying Hello!

Hey there! Today I have another fall-themed card with Gilded Autumn Specialty Paper! I'm so sorry Gilded Autumn is un-orderable right now!

Stampin_up_tasteful_touches_carolpaynestamps1

I combined two Annual Catalog sets, Nature's Beauty (deer) and Tasteful Touches (greeting). After stamping the greeting with Early Espresso ink I stamped the deer with stamped-off-once Crumb Cake. I cut it and its' Cajun Craze mat with a Tasteful Labels Die.

Stampin_up_tasteful_touches_carolpaynestamps2

I adhered the matted greeting on a layer of Gilded Autumn Specialty strips that I embossed with the Pinewood Planks 3D embossing folder and then sponged with Crumb Cake ink. I wrapped a piece of Early Espresso 1/4" Faux Suede Trim around the layer, securing on the back side with tape. I thought about adding a bow but decided this card didn't need one. I finished it all off with a Gilded Gem to coordinate with the gold and copper foil on one of the  Gilded Autumn Specialty strips.

Stampin_up_tasteful_touches_carolpaynestamps4

Inside I stamped a sentiment from Pallet Thoughts with Early Espresso ink, then another stamped-off-Crumb Cake deer and a leaf spray from Tasteful Touches in stamped-off Cajun Craze.

Stampin’ Up! Wishing You Well!

Stampin’ Up! Wishing You Well!

Hey there! Today I have a fall card I created just because I wanted to play some more with my fall designer papers and stamps! I used the Gather Together stamps, Gathered Leaves Dies, and Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Paper to create this gate-fold card:

Stampin_up_gather_together_carolpaynestamps1

I stamped the Gather Together greeting with Early Espresso on a scrap of Very Vanilla before I punched with the Label Me Fancy Punch. After cutting out the gold foil leaf with a Gathered Leaves Die, I added it behind the greeting with a glue dot.

Stampin_up_gather_together_carolpaynestamps2

I stamped the pumpkins with Terracotta Tile ink on a scrap of Terracotta Tile, then cut with the coordinating Gathered Leaves Die. I added Clear Wink of Stella for shine and punched the oak leaf directly from a Gilded Autumn Specialty print with on of the Autumn Punch Pack punches.

Stampin_up_gather_together_carolpaynestamps5

I added a single Gilded Gem for the perfect finishing touch!

Stampin_up_gather_together_carolpaynestamps4

Inside I used more Gather Together images and some Crumb Cake sponging to match the sponged label on the front.

Stampin_up_gather_together_carolpaynestamps6

Dimensions:

Terracotta Tile card base (gate fold): 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 2 1/8" and 6 3/8"

Gilded Autumn Specialty layers: 1 7/8" x 5 1/4"

Very Vanilla greeting: 2" x 3"       inside layer:  4" x 5 1/4"

Gold Foil & Terracotta Tile for leaf and pumpkins: scraps

Hey there! Welcome to the Stampers Dozen October Blog Hop! Our theme is Color Challenge with these yummy colors: Bumblebee, Cinnamon Cider, Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, and Very Vanilla!

TAMS Color Builder

I used Stitched Leaves Dies to cut Cherry Cobbler, Bumblebee, Early Espresso, and Gold Foil leaves. I punched the greeting strip with the Banners Pick a Punch and added a 3/8" Embroidered Ribbon bow.

Stampin_up_love_of_leaves_color_challenge_carolpaynestamps3

I stamped  Love of Leaves images with Early Espresso, Bumblebee, and Cherry Cobbler to accent the Early Espresso-stamped Love of Leaves sentiment.

Stampin’ Up! Buffalo Check Banner for Ivory!

Stampin’ Up! Buffalo Check Banner for Ivory!

Hey there! Today I'm sharing the banner I created for Ivory's birthday party decorations. I failed to take a picture of it hanging at the party, but I have some good close-ups of some of the pennants, so you will just have to use your imagination for the rest!

I used the same color combo of Purple Posy, Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather, and Whisper White that I used for her birthday card I shared with you yesterday. Each pennant is 6 1/8" wide at the top  I made my own pattern and then traced it cross-wise onto the Gorgeous Grape card stock. After cutting along the lines with my paper trimmer, I found I could get two pennants from an 8 1/2" x 11" piece of card stock. I used my stapler to adhere the fold over the Baker's Twine I used to pull the pennant together and for hanging.

Stampin_up_buffalo_check_birthday_banner_carolpaynestamps8

I stamped Whisper White with the Buffalo Check background and Highland Heather ink, then cut with one of the Celebration Labels Dies from the Holiday Catalog. I used the Playful Alphabet for her name and both Daisy Punches for the flowers.  I wanted to distract from the staples along the top of each pennant, so I cut Whisper White strips with one of the Ornate Borders dies and added with liquid glue!

Stampin_up_buffalo_check_birthday_banner_carolpaynestamps1

Each daisy has a Buffalo Check heart punched from the leftovers of the Celebration Labels using the Dog Builder Punch!

Stampin_up_buffalo_check_birthday_banner_carolpaynestamps7

I do wish I had taken a picture of it all hanging together, but it's hard to photograph something that long very well! I hope you have enjoyed the close-ups of the pennants! lol!

Stampin’ Up! Happiest of Birthdays for Ivory!

Stampin’ Up! Happiest of Birthdays for Ivory!

Hey there! Today I'm sharing the special birthday card I created for my granddaughter Ivory's 4th birthday. I created a tri-fold,  starting with a Purple Posy card base front and back, adding a layer of Gorgeous Grape before finishing with a Whisper White layer stamped with Buffalo Check and Highland Heather ink. I cut "HAPPY" with one of the Happy Dies, then cut the letters free with my Paper Snips. I added them to the card front with liquid glue, then layered punched medium daisies in Gorgeous Grape and Purple Posy. I punched the heart centers with the Dog Builder Punch and then added a Rhinestone to the centers for some bling.

Stampin_up_playful_alphabet_carolpaynestamps1

I adhered three folded pieces of Whisper white to create the tri-fold, then stamped hearts from the Happiest of Birthdays set in Highland Heather and more punched daisies.

Stampin_up_playful_alphabet_carolpaynestamps3

This card was a riot of daisies and hearts, perfect for 4 year-old Ivory! She kept saying, "Pretty, pretty!" as she was opening it! I stamped "Make Today Ridiculously Awesome" from the Ridiculously Awesome set to go along with the "HAPPIER" I cut with the Playful Alphabet Dies.

Stampin_up_playful_alphabet_carolpaynestamps4

I finished with the same sentiment from Happiest of Birthdays I had used on her momma's card that I showed you yesterday!

Stampin_up_playful_alphabet_carolpaynestamps5

Dimensions:

Purple Posy card base: 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" – need two to punch both sizes of daisies: scraps

Gorgeous Grape: 5 3/8" x 4 1/8" – need two    to cut 'HAPPY"   and "HAPPIER" and punch daisies: scraps

Whisper White: 4" x 5 1/4" – need two  trifold: three pieces, 7 1/2" x 5 1/4", scored and folded at 4" and adhered to each other
