Stampin’ Up! Last Batch of Retiring Ornate Style Cards!

Hey there! Today I'm sharing the final five Ornate Style cards I've created over the past year. I don't think I realized I had created a total of 15 cards with this retiring set until I started gathering them up for these farewell posts, but the evidence is there in all of my blog posts! Wow!

First, I combined Night of Navy and Basic White (it was called Whisper White back then) to create this Ornate Style card. Check out the entire post HERE.

I used a simple masking technique for this Ornate Style card, then painted the blooms with White Craft ink and the leaves with Versamark using a Blender Pen. Check out the whole post HERE.

Next, I CASED a sample from the Annual Catalog to create this card with retiring (and discounted $13.60) Ornate Border Dies. Find the whole post about this card HERE.

I used retiring (and discounted $6.20) Ornate Garden Specialty Designer paper with retiring Ornate Style to create this bright and cheery sample. View the entire post HERE.

Stampin’ Up! Ornate Style and Ornate Garden are Retiring!

Stampin’ Up! Buffalo Check Banner for Ivory!

Hey there! Today I'm sharing the banner I created for Ivory's birthday party decorations. I failed to take a picture of it hanging at the party, but I have some good close-ups of some of the pennants, so you will just have to use your imagination for the rest!

I used the same color combo of Purple Posy, Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather, and Whisper White that I used for her birthday card I shared with you yesterday. Each pennant is 6 1/8" wide at the top I made my own pattern and then traced it cross-wise onto the Gorgeous Grape card stock. After cutting along the lines with my paper trimmer, I found I could get two pennants from an 8 1/2" x 11" piece of card stock. I used my stapler to adhere the fold over the Baker's Twine I used to pull the pennant together and for hanging.

I stamped Whisper White with the Buffalo Check background and Highland Heather ink, then cut with one of the Celebration Labels Dies from the Holiday Catalog. I used the Playful Alphabet for her name and both Daisy Punches for the flowers. I wanted to distract from the staples along the top of each pennant, so I cut Whisper White strips with one of the Ornate Borders dies and added with liquid glue!

Each daisy has a Buffalo Check heart punched from the leftovers of the Celebration Labels using the Dog Builder Punch!

I do wish I had taken a picture of it all hanging together, but it's hard to photograph something that long very well! I hope you have enjoyed the close-ups of the pennants! lol!
