Stampin’ Up! Gathered Leaves Shaker!

Hey there! Last weekend Stampin' Up! provided an online event to introduce the spring catalog to demonstrators. One great project shown was a shaker card that's soooooo easy to make!

The first card I created was with the Gather Together stamp set and the "orange" collection of sequins from the Sequins For Everything pack.

What makes this shaker card so easy is the Clear Envelope used to create the shaker! I simply stamped a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece of Very Vanilla with Gather Together images, sponged the edges, slipped it into the clear envelope, added a couple of pinches of sequins, and sealed up the back! Voila!

I then adhered to a 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" card front with Stampin' Seal. It will fit snugly into a Medium Very Vanilla envelope!

Stampin’ Up! Life is Beautiful!

Hey there and welcome to the Paper Crafting Monthly Blog featuring talented Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the world! You may have arrived from Shirley's blog. She had a fabulous project!

Our October theme is Fall with a Designer Series Paper focus since Stampin' Up! is offering a great sale on select Designer Series Papers this month for 15% off. I decided to use the Life is Beautiful stamp set with Plain Tidings 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper, which is one of the sale packs!

I used the baby wipes technique to stamp the leaves on the trees, and then cut with a Celebration Labels Die.

The baby wipes technique is an easy way to get color on your stamps! I dropped Cajun Craze, Bumblebee, and Cherry Cobbler in refills on a baby wipe to create a custom "inkpad". Then I inked the leaves stamp with the baby wipe inkpad to get the lovely fall color! You can use the "inkpad" for multiple stampings in the same session!

I snuck in a little bit of Gathered Leaves with the pumpkins stamped with Cajun Craze.

Stampin’ Up! Wishing You Well!

Hey there! Today I have a fall card I created just because I wanted to play some more with my fall designer papers and stamps! I used the Gather Together stamps, Gathered Leaves Dies, and Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Paper to create this gate-fold card:

I stamped the Gather Together greeting with Early Espresso on a scrap of Very Vanilla before I punched with the Label Me Fancy Punch. After cutting out the gold foil leaf with a Gathered Leaves Die, I added it behind the greeting with a glue dot.

I stamped the pumpkins with Terracotta Tile ink on a scrap of Terracotta Tile, then cut with the coordinating Gathered Leaves Die. I added Clear Wink of Stella for shine and punched the oak leaf directly from a Gilded Autumn Specialty print with on of the Autumn Punch Pack punches.

I added a single Gilded Gem for the perfect finishing touch!

Inside I used more Gather Together images and some Crumb Cake sponging to match the sponged label on the front.

Stampin’ Up! A Gather Together Birthday Card for Troy!

Hey there! Yesterday my oldest son, Troy, had a birthday, but I waited until after his day to share his card.

I stamped "Happy Birthday" from Country Road with Early Espresso on Very Vanilla, then stamped the pussy willows with stamped-off Crumb Cake before punching with the Classic Label Punch. I layered it on a Crumb Cake layer that I embossed with the Pinewood Planks 3D folder and then lightly sponged with Crumb Cake ink to bring out the texture.

I pressed the Gathered Leaves die into the Cajun Craze inkpad before cutting, then off-set from the leaf die-cut opening so the Cajun Craze layer would peek through. I repeated the process for the Crumb Cake and Crushed Curry leaves.

Inside I used a sentiment from Itty Bitty Birthdays, stamped on Very Vanilla.

Stampers Dozen Blog Hop October Welcome Fall Y’all!

Hey there! Fall is finally here in Southern Illinois. My grandkids were still swimming just last week, but it's finally cooled down around here, so it's starting to look and feel like fall!

For my hop creation I used the All Around Wreath Dies to make this Fall wreath ornament. I used the same All-Around Wreath Dies to cut the Crumb Cake and Terracotta Tile wreaths as I used for the cardinal wreath HERE and the banner wreath HERE, then sponged the edges with Crumb Cake ink.

I colored Pearl Basic Jewels with a Dark Cajun Craze Stampin' Blends Marker, then used the Cajun Craze Linen Thread from the Come To Gather Ribbon Combo Pack.

I stamped the "Season of Thanks" on a Crumb Cake scrap before cutting with a Gathered Leaves die. Sponging around the edges gave it more depth and definition.

Now it's time to continue on the hop to see what the rest of the Stampers Dozen have created with the Fall theme. Click on any of the names in the list!

Sunday Swap Day on Monday!

Hey there! My weekend was crazy busy! I spent a big chunk of Friday helping Jessica photograph an adorable set of newborn twin girls, then Saturday I made a batch of homemade pumpkin ice cream to take to Grace & Troy's 2nd Annual Pumpkin Palooza! Everything was pumpkin-themed, Pumpkin pizza, Pumpkin salad dressing & croutons, Pumpkin pasta, and of course yummy Pumpkin desserts! Then evening culminated with a Pumpkin-carving contest!

Sunday was spent with our church family at our Annual Homecoming service and "dinner on the grounds", then a lazy afternoon, including a little nap!

The handsome fella I'm sitting with at the Pumpkin Paloooza is my oldest son, Troy!

With all of that going on, I am just now getting back into the swing of things to post some swaps!

Today I want to share a couple of gorgeous fall swaps with the Gather Together Bundle.

This first swap did not have any creator's name. I love the combo of Merry Merlot and Copper! The Come To Gather Designer Paper inspired it all!

The copper foil paper was cut and embossed at the same time with Gathered Leaves dies.

This swap was created by Chris Kolly. Chris used two more prints from the Come to Gather Designer Paper along with the Word Wishes Bundle:

A Word Wishes die cut out "Thanksgiving", and the pumpkins were stamped and cut with the Gather Together Bundle.
