More Alaska Cruise Swaps: Detailed With Love and Graceful Garden!

Hey there! Yesterday I a lovely time stamping with my "Third Thursday" group at the Cozy Table in Benton, IL. Whether there are two or ten, we always have a good time!

Today I'm sharing more cruise swaps: Detailed with Love and Graceful Garden! Until I run out, it's like Sunday Swap Day on my blog everyday!

This card is a beautiful collection of Layered Leaves Dynamic Textured Impressions (Mint Macaron background) Share What You Love Designer Paper, Detailed with Love greeting, and die-cut blooms from the Springtime Impressions dies! The Mint Macaron behind the greeting is stamped with the Artisan Textures set.

The same Detailed with Love greeting has a completely different look when stamped in Grapefruit Grove and paired with the Pop of Petals Bundle!

The rose from Graceful Garden was black heat-embossed first, then colored with Stampin' Blends. The greeting is from Southern Serenade.

This Graceful Garden card has a whole different look stamped with the "line-less watercolor" technique! The Handwritten background stamp was used on the front to frame the oval opening. Gorgeous!

Stampin’ Up! Happy Wishes Rose!

Hey there! Well, it happened again. Not my phone this time, but my camera I shoot all of my pics for the blog and my class handouts. It's MY FAULT this time. I dropped it in water that resides in an unmentionable place, and even though I retrieved it almost instantly, it still died! Fortunately, the Canon Elph point-and-shoot I use was still available at Walmart, so $120 later I now have the same camera with an extra battery salvaged from the drowned one. I always try to look on the bright side!

Another fortunate thing, I had already taken pictures of today's creation, my third and final Happy Wishes card (for now)!

I love that Petal Garden has more than one color combo in the prints. This one is Rich Razzleberry, Sweet Sugarplum, Pool Party, and Old Olive.

The Whisper White 1/4" Organza Ribbon is just gorgeous! It coordinates with anything feminine!

After inking the Graceful Garden rose with a Rich Razzleberry and an Old Olive Marker, I stamped them on Whisper White, added the "wishes" with Rich Razzleberry, then punched with the 2" Circle Punch. This layered perfect over Rich Razzleberry punched with the Starburst Punch!

Pretty, pretty, pretty . . .

The 16 different phrases in Happy Wishes let you create so many custom sentiments, and the font is easy to stamp because it doesn't have to be perfectly straight!

Stampin’ Up! Alaska Achievers’ Blog Hop January 2018!

Hey there and welcome to the Alaska Achiever's Blog Hop for January 2018, our first hop of the New Year! The Alaska Achievers are a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world who have joined together once a month to bring you the best of their creativity! We all get to sail to Alaska this July, courtesy of Stampin' Up!

Our theme for 2018 is an easy one: anything we want to share! I've been doing a lot of stamping with Sale-a-bration stamps and accessories, so I decided to share a card I made with the Happy Wishes set, you can choose this set free when you place a $100 order!

This is the first year Stampin' Up! has offered two levels of Sale-a-bration freebies. Traditionally you get to choose a free SAB item with a $50 order, but this year they added two $100 items, the Happy Wishes stamp set and the Celebrate You Thinlets Dies. (you can still choose two of the $50 level sets if you prefer)

I've recently FELL IN LOVE with the Petal Garden 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper Stack, so I took my colors from one of the prints featuring Sweet Sugarplum, Rich Razzleberry, and Old Olive. I heat embossed the "happy" with white powder on a Sweet Sugarplum strip I punched on one end with the Scallop Tag Topper Punch.

I also LOVE the Whisper White 1/4" Organza Ribbon, found in the Petal Passion Suite on page 23 of the Occasions catalog!

I stamped directly on the Petal Garden Designer Paper with the "birthday" sentiment with Rich Razzleberry ink.

With 16 different words and phrases in the Happy Wishes set, you can make almost endless sentiment combinations!

I used Rich Razzleberry & Old Olive Stampin' Write Markers on an image from the Graceful Garden set. This set is found on page 57 of the Annual Catalog as part of the Petal Garden Suite.
