Stampin’ Up! Festival of Trees One More Time!

Stampin’ Up! Festival of Trees One More Time!

Hey there. How's your day going? My day is full of errands, appointments, and a bit more Christmas shopping!

With the days till Christmas ticking down, I need to show you another November swap card. This one was created by Cindy Ewertz:

Stampin_up_festival_of_trees_1 - Copy

This is a sweet little card. Cindy embossed the Naturals Ivory front with the On Point Textured Impressions Folder and then scalloped the edge with the Scallop Edge Border Punch. After she cut out the oval with one of the Ovals Collection Framelits, she pierced all around the edge of the oval with a Paper-Piercing Tool and one of the Occasions Paper-Piercing Templates.

Stampin_up_festival_of_trees_2 - Copy

Cindy stamped the leafy tree from the Festival of Trees set with Old Olive ink on Old Olive cardstock, then punched with the Tree Punch. She mounted it slightly off-set  over a second tree punched from plain Old Olive cardstock. She added "lights" with Gold and Red Dazzling Details.

She finished off the tree top with a star punched with the Itty Bitty Accents Star from Gold Foil, and then added a greeting from Festival of Trees cut with a Bitty Banner framelit. She tied a tread pulled from 1 1/4" Burlap Ribbon in a bow through the oval and around the card edge.

Stampin_up_festival_of_trees_3 - Copy

Another phrase from Festival of Trees and the cardinal from the same set complete the inside. A 1" wide strip of Santa & Co. Designer Series Paper adds a festive edge.

That's all for now. See the supply list below to find everything you need to make this card. Click on any image below or click HERE to order in my Online Store.

Stampin’ Up! Under the Tree and New Weekly Deals!

Stampin’ Up! Under the Tree and New Weekly Deals!

Hey there! Seems like all it's done around here is rain, gray skies, rain, gray skies, over and over. Pretty dreary, so I thought a cheery card is in order:

Stampin_up_under_the_tree - Copy

I received this card, created by Cathy Stephenson, in the November swap. Cathy's use of the 1 3/4", 1 3/8", 1 1/4", 1", and 3/4" Circle punches make this a quick and easy card!

The tree is layered on a Whisper White background  embossed with the Lucky Stars Textured Impressions folder. The stars coordinates perfectly with the patterns in the Under the Tree Specialty Paper circles.

The "merry christmas" is from the no longer available Hostess set Good Greetings, but you could easily substitute a greeting from Endless Wishes photopolymer to get the same sentiment.

A Silver Glimmer Paper star cut with one of the Star Framelits tops the tree. LOVE it!

Here's your shopping list for this card. All the items listed are available to order today in my Online Store:    www.carolpayne.stampinup.net

While you are there, check out the new Weekly Deals.

Stampin’ UP! Stampers Dozen Blog Hop December Edition A New Year!

Stampin’ UP! Stampers Dozen Blog Hop December Edition A New Year!

Hey there! It's December 15h, Stamper's Dozen Blog Hop time! yay!

1723402_10152213035905070_85588169_n

The theme is "A New Year", and if you're already on the hop you've seen some fun creations! I just LOVE what Stella MacKay of Stellar Stamps comes up with every month, don't you?

When I think of "A New Year", I naturally imagine parties, toasts, resolutions, and kisses at midnight. Stampin' Up! has perfect products to create invitations, cards, decorations, and scrap book pages to highlight theses festivities.

However, for 2015 "A New Year", all I'm thinking about is new grandbabies! TWO of my three daughters are due to give birth sometime in the next few weeks, so I created this card using both current and sneak peek products from the upcoming 2015 Spring Occasions Catalog:

Stampin_up_zoo_babies_sweet_dreams_1 - Copy

The first 2015 grandbaby is a boy! I used Zoo Babies, Baby We've Grown, and Itty Bitty Banners stamps with Lost Lagoon, Whisper White, Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper, and sneaky-peeky Sweet Dreams Designer Paper. I can hardly wait to show you the new product I'm using to form the letters to add his name after he gets here!

Stampin_up_zoo_babies_sweet_dreams_2 - Copy

I used bits and pieces from all three sets on the front, accented  by the sparkle of Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper. I  tied a bit of Soft Sky Painted Blooms Cotton Twine (also a Sneak Peek) around the Lost Lagoon 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon bow for extra softness.

Except for the dimensional-popped-up-ear, all images were cut with a Big Shot framelit!

Stampin_up_zoo_babies_sweet_dreams_3 - Copy

A clean & simple inside sentiment from Big News, framed above and below with 1/2" strips of Sweet Dreams Designer Paper.

Most of today's products are avaialble now, but a few aren't until after the Occasions Catalog goes live on January 6th. Click HERE or on any image below to order in my Online Store:

Stampin’ Up! Curvy Keepsakes Box Christmas Robin!

Stampin’ Up! Curvy Keepsakes Box Christmas Robin!

Hey there! Busy day today! Liam in the morning, and then in the evening we went to the Sesser-Valier Jr. High Basketball game to watch our oldest granddaughter, Maddie Kate, cheer! Love.That.Girl.

In between, I've been working on the projects for the December Online Christmas Class. I found this project on Pinterest, then followed the trail to Zoe Tant  from the UK's blog. After you see this adorable little birdie you will want to watch her how-to video:

Stampin_up_curvy_keepsake_robin_2 - Copy

Isn't he just the cutest thing? This little guy was SO FUN and easy to make!

Here's the link to her video: Zoe Tant Christmas Robin Video

I am working on an instructional hand-out to send to my Online Class participants. My class will receive a kit with all the supplies to make two of these litle guys, as well as a set of tags and giftcardholders for a total of 6.

If you would like to receive a kit and instructions to make a couple of these little robins, just place an order in my Online Store this month using this Hostess Code: NCEMYRTS (this offer will expire on December 30th)

To purchase your supplies to make your own robins from my Online Store, just click on this link or on any of the supply images below:

Stampin’ Up! Clean & Simple Ornamental Pine!

Stampin’ Up! Clean & Simple Ornamental Pine!

Hey there! I spent my Wednesday stamping, stamping, stamping! Such a relaxing and fun day! I didn't actually create anything new, I just stamped several sets of Christmas cards left over from recent events.Iit was so much fun!

Today I want to share with you another card we made on Monday night. This card was originally a Founder's Circle swap, but somehow I lost the creator's name. If you know who, please let me know so I can give them credit!

Stampin_up_ornamental_mossy_pine_1 - Copy

Ornamental Pine with Mossy Meadow & Whisper White cardstock and the On Point Textured Impressions Folder.

The MOST IMPORTANT TIP I gave my stampers for this card:  STAMP THE GREETING FIRST, THEN INSERT INTO THE EMBOSSING FOLDER!

Stampin_up_ornamental_mossy_pine_4 - Copy

Also, insert the card front into the folder with the "tree" triangles pointing toward the top of the layer:

The images in the Ornamental Pine set work well inside, outside, and on the envelope!

Stampin_up_ornamental_mossy_pine_2 - Copy

You can download the class handout by clicking on this link:  Download Ornamental Pine Mossy Pine

That's all for now. Tomorrow is a Liam day, so we will be playing with trains and not stamps, but that's o.k. with me! His daddy is in the R.N. Nursing program and this is his last week before Christmas Break, so I will only have Liam tomorrow and Friday, and then it will be the middle of January before I have him again. I intend to enjoy him the next couple of days while I can!

You can still order Ornamental Pine in my Online Store: www.carolpayne.stampinup.net
