Hey there! It's time!
For my project I chose to use the 2-step stamping set "Weather Together"!
I used a z-fold for the Pool Party card base of 4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2" and 8 1/4". I added a 2 1/2" x 4" Bermuda Bay layer, and Whisper White 2 1/4" x 3 3/4" layer.
I stamped the umbrella handle with Bermuda Bay on the white layer, then stamped raindrops with Soft Sky. I stamped a Bermuda Bay umbrella on Pool Party, added Bermuda Bay polka-dots with the separate stamp, then cut with the matching Umbrella Weather Framelit. It is adhered with dimensionals.
I tied 1/8" Bermuda Bay Stitched Ribbon before adhering the layer with a dimensional in each corner. "wishing you" is part of a Weather Together phrase I inked on the edge of a Basic Black ink pad.
I cleaned the stamp, then inked the rest of the phrase with black ink to stamp inside. The sunburst from Kinda Eclectic inked with Daffodil Delight and a Sunshine Wishes Thinlet cut from Daffodil Delight cardstock provide the "sunshine".

Hey there! I had a request for a card using the light bulb from the new Host set, Pun Intended. I decided the "sunburst" from Kinda Eclectic would be the perfect addition for the light rays!
I stamped the sunburst with Daffodil Delight on the base layer and the center of the lightbulb, which is stamped, colored with a Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Write Marker, cut out, and popped up with a dimensional.
I stamped the "light-burst" on the inside too!
Cute, quick, and sweet! That's it for this card!

Hey there! I didn't get a chance to stamp all weekend, can you believe it?
So here I am on Monday morning working on some projects due this week, the first being today's blog post! After playing with bleach last week, I wanted to try different colors of card stock. Sweet Sugarplum, a new In Color, combined with Rich Razzleberry and Whisper White is super-duper!
I used the delicate spray of blooms from Touches of Texture, "inking" with bleach. After letting the bleach develop, I stamped a few Touches of Texture dragonflies, with Sweet Sugarplum, embossing with the Brick Wall Folder.
The bleach brought out a creamy white!
Simply pour a little bleach carefully onto a couple of folded paper towels on a plate, enough to wet the towels, but no puddles.
I white heat-embossed a phrase from Better Together on vellum, cutting with the banner framelit in the Gift Card Envelope & Trims Thinlets. I rolled up a couple of glue dots to hide behind the "J" in just and the "e" in note to adhere to the card front under the Sweet Sugar Plum 3/8" Ruched Ribbon.
Inside I used a Greatest Greetings phrase and more dragonflies, lining the envelope with Playful Palette Designer Series Paper.
Ready to give this technique a try? You can order Touches of Texture from my online store: www.carolpayne.stampinup.net

Hey there! Saturday I was thrilled to attend the wedding of one of my dear friends and Stampin' Up! team member, Angela.
I made Angela's wedding card using more of my pre-preorder Occasions Catalog products, the Bloomin' Love photopolymer set and coordinating Bloomin' Heart Thinlets Dies:
I used Elegant Eggplant and Very Vanilla, two of Angela's favorite colors.
I also used the Precision base plate to cut the Very Vanilla heart with my Big Shot. I popped up the flowers, which are part of the Bloomin' Love set and cut with the two flower dies included with the Bloomin' Heart framelits, with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Pearls added a bit more elegance.
I embossed the Elegant Eggplant background with the Fluttering Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.
After I stamped the ". . .it's in the air" phrase inside the banner, I fancy-cut it out with my Paper Snips. I CAN tell you there's another framelit set coming in the Occasions Catalog that includes a framelit to cut out the fancy banner! yay!
I finished the inside with a sentiment from the Happy Notes set and a pretty little flower cluster from Bloomin' Love.
I DO make mistakes! I didn't take the pictures of this card until AFTER I had written a personal message, so I removed it before posting! lol!

Hey there! Seems like I've had a lot of specific card requests lately. Today's card has a "thinking of you" theme with Sheltering Tree and Watercolor Wishes:
I stamped the Hardwood background with Tip on Taupe on Crumb Cake, sponged with Tip Top Taupe, adhered to a sponged Tip Top Taupe layer, then adhered to a Crumb Cake card base.
I made the foliage stamp do double-duty! First, I attached the leaves side of the stamp to the clear block so I could stamp a background of Delightful Dijon. After I cleaned the stamp, I flipped it back over to the leaf side to stamp Cajun Craze foliage on top of the Delightful Dijon.
I love the little touches included in the Sheltering Tree set; a scattered foliage stamp and a rake! The greeting is from the Watercolor Wishes stamp set, which you can only get when you buy the Watercolor Wishes Card Kit.
"You're in my Thoughts", the perfect thinking of you sentiment!
Use the supply list below to create your own Sheltering Tree, placing your order in my online store: www.carolpayne.stampinup.net
