Stampin’ Up! Paisley & Posies Pumpkins!

Hey there! Today I have a couple of cards I created with Paisley & Posies, Halloween Night Specialty Designer Paper, and Layering Ovals Framelits.

I mailed this card to my SIL, Harriett, last week.

I embossed a paisley from Paisley & Posies with gold powder, cut with a Layering Oval Framelit, then sponged with Pumpkin Pie ink. I layered together with dimensionals to create the pumpkin.

I created the stem by cutting off the base of the tree trunk punched with the Tree Builder Punch. The tendrils are punched with the Sprinkles Punch.

I finished the inside with a sentiment from Suite Sayings and a pumpkin image from the September Paper Pumpkin.

I created a second pumpkin card with the same supplies, except I embossed my images with copper powder on Basic Black card stock.

I decided t give this pumpkin two tendrils, again using the Sprinkles Punch!

I used a sentiment from Better Together.

I also copper embossed the coordinating Better Together sentiment inside.

Stampin’ Up! Touches of Texture!

Hey there! I didn't get a chance to stamp all weekend, can you believe it?

So here I am on Monday morning working on some projects due this week, the first being today's blog post! After playing with bleach last week, I wanted to try different colors of card stock. Sweet Sugarplum, a new In Color, combined with Rich Razzleberry and Whisper White is super-duper!

I used the delicate spray of blooms from Touches of Texture, "inking" with bleach. After letting the bleach develop, I stamped a few Touches of Texture dragonflies, with Sweet Sugarplum, embossing with the Brick Wall Folder.

The bleach brought out a creamy white!

Simply pour a little bleach carefully onto a couple of folded paper towels on a plate, enough to wet the towels, but no puddles.

I white heat-embossed a phrase from Better Together on vellum, cutting with the banner framelit in the Gift Card Envelope & Trims Thinlets. I rolled up a couple of glue dots to hide behind the "J" in just and the "e" in note to adhere to the card front under the Sweet Sugar Plum 3/8" Ruched Ribbon.

Inside I used a Greatest Greetings phrase and more dragonflies, lining the envelope with Playful Palette Designer Series Paper.

Inside I used a Greatest Greetings phrase and more dragonflies, lining the envelope with Playful Palette Designer Series Paper.

Now, here's a card I created for the March Online Class using Pretty Petals Designer Paper and new Sale-a-bration set, Party Pants!

I used the colors in the designer paper to guide my choices for all of the elements of this card. It turned out exactly the way I wanted!

I embossed the Very Vanilla background with the Elegant Dots folder, and added a little snippet of a Tea Lace Doily for a vintage look!

Yes, I colored my rhinestones again with a black Sharpie. I'm addicted to this easy technique! Inside the card I used a phrase from Greatest Greetings.

I punched the flower elements with the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack, the Tree Builder Punch, and the Bird Builder Punch.
