Sunday Swap Day March 20th!

Hey there! Once again it's time for Sunday Swap Day! yay! I have a BUNCH of fun masculine-themed swaps to share today!

Stampin’ Up! Whirling Sails!

Hey there! Today's card is created with the Give It A Whirl dies, Let's Set Sail Bundle, and the Gentle Waves Background stamp. I love seeing what I can fit into the window cut with the Give It A Whirl dies!

I split this greeting from Let's Set Sail into three parts so it could be read as you turn the dial on the card!

I highlighted the words with Silver Foil stars, cut with a die from the Give It A Whirl set.

Love it!

I used a sentiment from Sunny Sentiments. It's one of the best birthday sentiments in the Annual Catalog! I hope it doesn't retire. Demonstrators get to find out next Wednesday, the 23rd, when we get to see the new Annual Catalog early. Getting to see new products early is just ONE of the perks of purchasing the $99 Stampin' Up! Stampin’ Up! Tropical Waves!

Hey there! Today I have a fun card for you I created with the Waves of Inspiration Bundle, Timeless Tropical stamps, and the Gentle Waves background stamp.

I stamped the Gentle Waves with Bermuda Bay, masking off the top third of the card with a piece of card stock to create the horizon. I then stamped the wave stamp from the Waves of Inspiration stamp set with Pacific Point. I finished my ocean with a die-cut wave from the Waves Dies.

I inked the palm trees from the Timeless Tropical set with Early Espresso and Mossy Meadow Stampin' Write Markers. I had masked a setting sun with a circle cut with a die as I used Blending Brushes to create the sunset with Pale Papaya and Calypso Coral ink. I added Clear Wink of Stella to the sun and in rings above it to give the look of the fading light.

Inside I finished the card with a mixture of images from both Timeless Tropical and Waves of Inspiration. Love both of these sets!

Stampin’ Up! Let’s Set Sail!

Hey there! Today's card is a modification of the "matchbook" I shared with you the other day. This fold is so easy and fun to make! I will put the dimensions at the bottom of this post!

I used the Gentle Waves background stamp with Misty Moonlight ink on a 4" x 4 1/4" piece of Basic White for the sailboat background. I stamped the sails with Real Red and Smoky Slate and the boat & mast with Night of Navy before punching with the coordinating Sailboat Builder Punch.

I added 1/4" x 4" wide strips of Real Red to the edges of the front layers for a pop of red color. I stamped the greeting from Let's Set Sail with Real Red ink, stamped the birds with Smoky Slate, and added a couple of In Color Square Gems in Misty Moonlight with a Red Rhinestone Basic Jewel in the middle.

Inside I stamped a sentiment from Sunny Sentiments with Real Red and repeated the birds with Smoky Slate. I stamped the sailboat on the envelope front and the Gentle Waves on the envelope flap (not pictured)

Card dimensions:

Misty Moonlight card base: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"

Basic White layer: 4" x 10 3/4", scored at 4 1/4" and 9 1/2"

Basic White Gentle Waves layer: 4" x 4 1/4"

Real Red strips: 1/4" x 4"

Hey there! Today's card is a matchbook-style fold with the Friendly Hello Sale-a-bration bundle! I love this Fresh Freesia print from the designer series paper pack that comes with the Friendly Hello stamp set when you choose this as your $100 order gift!

The stamped greeting looks really crisp in Tuxedo Black Memento ink! I colored the little buds with Fresh Freesia ink and a Blender Pen, then added touches of Clear Wink of Stella for some shine!

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day on Tuesday, Sale-a-bration!

Hey there! I'm still running behind from that flu bug at the end of last week. Usually it only takes me a day to recover after the symptoms recede, but I guess I'm showing my age, I'm still tired and seem to have lost my mojo! I'm hoping to get it back soon!

In the meantime, here's a bunch of Sale-a-bration-inspired swaps to share with you!

First a cute Awesome Otters birthday card by Barb Dykhouse!

Barb used the new 3D embossing folders from the January/June Mini Catalog, Stripes & Splatters!

Next, Lisa Miltakis combined Awesome Otters with the new Gentle Waters background stamp!

She also added a few of the new Faux Sea Glass Shapes!

Karen Davis combined Awesome Otters with the Picture This Dies for an adorable "peek-a-boo" look!

Kathy Miller used a bookbinder-fold with Sunshine & Rainbows Sale-a-bration Designer Paper and Driving By stamp set.

Jan Rodrian combined two Sale-a-bration products, Driving By and Simply Marbleous Designer Paper, with Layering Diorama Dies, Double Oval Punch, and Brick & Mortar 3D embossing folder.
