Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day Spring Blessings!

Hey there! Happy Palm Sunday! In past years our church has presented a Palm Sunday program of song and pageantry depicting the final days of our Savior's life here on earth. Preparations were being made for this year's program, but of course, the pandemic put it on hold. I hope we are able to present it when life goes back to normal!

Today's cards all feature Easter themes, starting with this bright and cheery Timeless Tulips card by Barb Dykhouse.

After stamping the tulip on Whisper White, she cut it out with a Stitched So Sweetly die, and added the black "hello". To me this looks a bit like a postage stamp!

The bunny from Fable Friends can be used for Easter, but he also looks like Peter Rabbit! Ruth Bingle stamped him on a layer cut with a Stitched Labels Die, colored with Stampin' Blends, and paper-pieced his jacket with the same paper as the background from Tropical Oasis Designer Paper! The greeting is also cut with a Stitched Labels Die.

Stampin’ Up! Fable Friends Duckies!

Hey there! Today is Good Friday, and when I was a little girl I could never understand why it was called Good Friday when it was commemorating the day that Jesus was crucified. How could that day be called good? But I am so thankful that Jesus willingly laid down his life for the whole world, and even me! So today IS Good Friday!

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day Easter Greetings!

Hey there! Easter is next Sunday. The real meaning of Easter has nothing to do with bunnies, eggs, or candy, it's the celebration of the Resurrection of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. However, bunnies and eggs are spring symbols, and with spring comes new life in the world around us. Christ came to bring us forgiveness of our sins and therefore NEW LIFE, so enjoy thees cute cards today!

First, a fun Best Bunny Bundle card created by Cathy Miller:

Best Bunny is a clear, photopolymer set, which makes it easy to stamp any of the three faces!

Stampin’ Up! Ducky Pizza Box!

Hey there! I'm back! If you even noticed I've been gone awhile, I took a little break after my son's wedding. We are in the middle of some bedroom renovation, so something had to give, and blogging is one of the things that gave!

We aren't done yet, but I'm taking some time to get some blog posts scheduled with some cute projects I created before the wedding. Today's project features the cute Momma ducky from Fable Friends on a Mini Pizza Box!

This little momma looks ready for anything with her rain slicker and hat! (I think she needs galoshes, but I guess when you're a duck, that really isn't necessary, is it!) I colored her with Stampin' Blends. See the supply list below for the colors I used.

These little boxes are just the perfect size for treats, cookies, surprises, and even a gift card!

Stampin’ Up! Fable Friends Darling Baby!

Hey there! Today may be April Fool's Day, but the card I'm sharing today is not a joke! The Fable Friends stamp set contains four adorable phrases to pair with the Beatrix Potter-like images, including the "darling baby" phrase, so I made a darling baby card!

I used a simple masking technique with a Post-it Note to stamp the "darling baby" phrase behind the bunny. I have provided an instruction handout a little farther down in this post to show you how. I colored the bunny with Stampin' Blends.

I sponged just about everything with Crumb Cake ink for a soft, vintage look.

I used a phrase from Needle & Thread inside and stamped some dots using an image from Incredible Like You to continue the theme from the designer paper I used on the front.
