Stampin’ Up! Bird Ballad Scrappy Strips!
Hey there! I couldn't resist playing with the Scrappy Strips technique again, this time with the retiring Bird Ballad Designer Series paper!
I cut up lots of scraps of Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper to create this card. I also used a stamp set I love but haven't used enough, Here's A Card for the greeting and inside sentiment. I stamped the "Hello there" with Tuxedo Black ink, then stamped the single bloom from Free As A Bird with Pool Party before punching with the retiring 1" Circle Punch. I punched Pool Party with the retiring 1 1/8" Scalloped Circle Punch to mat behind it.
I cut a thin strip of Basic Gray card stock, then embossed with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder to create a faux ribbon. I hand-cut the birds on the flowery branch with Paper Snips to mount over the "ribbon" with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.
Inside I used another Here's A Card sentiment and stamped the Free As A Bird birds on a branch with stamped-off Tuxedo Black ink.
