Stampin’ Up! Beach Happy!

Hey there! Today I want to share with you a fun card I created with the Beach Happy stamp set, Gingham Gala 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper, and Celebrate You Dies. All are retiring on June 3rd, so I need to use them or lose them! lol!

I created two very similar-yet-different cards, all with the same supplies. Which one do you like the best?

Stamping directly on the designer paper helped these cards come together in a snap!

After cutting "celebrate" from both Basic Black and So Saffron card stock (I meant to use Daffodil Delight, but grabbed So Saffron instead!) I layered them with liquid glue before bending the word slightly and attaching with more liquid glue.

I love this sentiment and images, all from Beach Happy.

Stampin’ Up! Fable Friends Duckies!

Hey there! Today is Good Friday, and when I was a little girl I could never understand why it was called Good Friday when it was commemorating the day that Jesus was crucified. How could that day be called good? But I am so thankful that Jesus willingly laid down his life for the whole world, and even me! So today IS Good Friday!

Today I have a cute little card created with the Fable Friends ducklings and Gingham Gala Designer Paper:

Aren't these little guys simply the cutest?

Stampin’ Up! Tea Together Sale-a-bration!

Hey there! Today I'm sharing the final card I created for the Sale-a-bration Kick-off Class last Saturday!

We made this card with the Tea Together stamp set (Occasions catalog page 49) and Tea Time Framelits Dies (Sale-a-bration catalog, free with a $100 order)

We used the Balmy Blue print from the Gingham Gala 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper pack, currently on backorder until February 18. "Backorder" means you can still order the item, but it will be shipped to you at a later date when the warehouse receives the shipment. We also colored the white side of a Colored Doily with Balmy Blue ink to put behind the teacup.

We cut out the greeting with the heart die from the Wood Crate Framelits, and cut a second Balmy Blue heart in half to create a mat behind it!

I love this sentiment inside, also from Tea Together!

We colored the flowers with Light & Dark Highland Heather Stampin' Blends. We used Light Old Olive and Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends to finish.
