Stampin’ Up! A Mini Jam Jar of Christmas Tags!

Hey there! Today I have a couple of cute projects to share with you that I've been working on for the craft fair this weekend. I saw where someone (I don't remember who) used the Jar of Flowers stamps and Jar Punch to make gift tags, so I decided to make some for Christmas!

I decorated the jar lids with Pattern Party Host Designer Paper on the left and Gingerbread & Peppermint Designer on the right. The greeting is from Sweet Little Stockings stamp set. I used a Christmas Trimmings die to cut the holly leaves, and cut the circles for the lids and greeting with a couple of the smaller Layering Circles dies.

This jar contains 6 tags, each adorned with Playful Pets trim to match the jar lid. I stamped the "To: From:" found in the Tidings & Trimmings stamp set with Real Red ink on the Kraft side of the tags, along with a Stampin' Up! copywrite stamp to fulfill the Stampin' Up! Angel Policy. I added a Cherry Cobbler Holiday Rhinestone to the holly on the jar lid for some sparkle.

The tags came together very quickly because so much of it was punched with the Jar Punch. I added a single Mini Stampin' Dimensional to the back of each tag for easy attachment to a package.

Stampin’ Up! Garden Birdhouses and All For Baby Stitched Stars Ornaments!

Hey there! Today I have my final group of Stitched Stars Christmas ornaments. I've had fun letting my creativity loose to make these!

My first one to share with you today was created with the Garden Birdhouses stamp set!

I stamped the birdhouse with stamped-off-once Tuxedo Black Memento ink, then colored with Stampin' Blends alcohol markers. I added a border around it all with a Light Pool Party Stampin' Blends. I hand-cut the little birdie, then added with a snippet of a Stampin' Dimensional.

The final idea I had for these ornaments was to create a "Baby's 1st Christmas" ornament with my soon-to-be-born 8th granddaughter, Scarlett, in mind!

For this one I used Real Red and Gold Foil for the sparkle, and Crumb Cake to stamp the teddy. The hat is an image in the Penguin Place stamp set found in the Holiday Mini Catalog.

For the back I printed "Baby's 1st Christmas" from my computer. The snowflakes are cut with a Knit Sweater die. I added a Rhinestone Basic Jewel to the center. I used Evening Evergreen card stock for the middle star layer.

For the baby boy version I used Balmy Blue card stock and ink, with a silver-foil print from the Whimsy & Wonder 12" x 12" Specialty paper for the smaller star layer.

On the back side I used Silver Foil 12" x 12" Specialty paper and again computer-generated the sentiment.

Finally, I used Blushing Bride and a silver snowflake print from the Whimsy & Wonder Specialty pack along with the teddy from All For Baby. I'm so glad there is both gold & silver cording in the Simply Elegant Trim pack so I have both of the colors I need for each ornament!

After playing around with several shades of pink on my computer, I finally settled for this one. It doesn't really match the Blushing Bride card stock, but it was the closest I could get!

Now to just make a few more batches of each of the ornaments I have designed so I have plenty to sell at the craft fair! Oh, and then I will also make a custom one with Scarlett's name on it! Really excited about her birth!

Stampin’ Up! Wise Men Stitched Stars!

Hey there! Today I have another set of Stitched Stars Ornaments with the Great Tidings stamp set. This was the set that I envisioned when I first started playing with this star ornament idea!

I used Blackberry Bliss for the largest Stitched Star, as well as Blackberry Bliss ink to stamp on the Very Vanilla smallest star.

I used Gold Foil for the middle Stitched Star and the swirls.

I added a Gilded Gem to the top of each wise men's gift.

I also added a Gilded Gem to the center of the Christmas Star.

This group of four ornaments came together quite quickly!

And yes, I'm not quite done with the Stitched Stars ornament concept quite yet! I have at least one more I will be sharing with you tomorrow, maybe two, so come back!

Stampin’ Up! Simply Elegant Stitched Stars!

Hey there! Today I have a set of ornaments I created with the Stitched Stars dies and sentiments from Great Tidings and Stars Are Shining:

This sentiment from Stars Are Shining fits perfectly inside this star! I heat embossed with copper powder.

The middle star layer is cut from a print from the Simply Elegant Designer Paper. This sentiment is a partial of "Glory to God in the Highest" from Great Tidings.

"Sending Peace & Joy" has the words "to you" omitted to fit the star.

I added copper foil swirls to each one, cut with a Stitched Stars die.

The die cuts the full swirl, which I cut in half and then added between the layers with glue dots.

I backed each ornament with a full star of copper foil.

Hey there! Today I have the 8th card that we are making today and next Saturday at my Christmas Card Stamp-a-Stack, Great Tidings!

All of the sentiments and images were stamped on the Kraft Specialty Paper before it was embossed with the Merry Melody 3D embossing folder.

These sentiments are from Great Tidings.

This sentiment is from the Stars Are Shining stamp set and is also the name of the music represented by the Merry Melody 3D embossing folder!

I did not emboss this panel so there would be signature room!

I added strips of Blackberry Beauty Specialty paper to the opposite sides of the narrow panels. This paper is Blackberry Bliss, just like the card base and ink, but is gold embossed. I also added several Gilded Gems to highlight the sentiments and the wise men's gifts for the Christ Child.

This card will fold up and fit inside a medium envelope just like a regular card.

I think this card turned out to be my favorite of all of the Stamp-a-Stack cards!

Stampin’ Up! Snow Wonderful Snowflakes!

Hey there! Today I have another card to share with you that I have created for my Christmas Card Stamp-a-Stack tomorrow! I used the returning-from-last-year Snow Wonder with the Wonderful Snowflakes embellishment to create this Circle-Cut-Out card. I embossed the front white layer first with one of the Wintry 3D embossing folders. then used a Blending Brush to lightly add Misty Moonlight ink to make the snowflake design "pop"!

I used white heat embossing for the Snow Wonder greeting, cut with an Ornate Frames die.

I stamped the inside sentiment, also from Snow Wonder, with Misty Moonlight ink. I added a 1" strip of Silver Foil embossed with the same Wintry 3D folder.

I adhered one of the Wonderful Snowflakes with a glue dot to the Misty Moonlight circle cut from the front, then added a Night of Navy Holiday Rhinestone.

This card came together very quickly! It would be a good one to mass-produce for Christmas!
