Hey there! It's Sunday, which means it's time to show you some swaps!

Let's jump right in, I've got some fun ones to share with you today!

First a fun Flamingo Lingo creation in Strawberry Slush and Daffodil Delight! Flamingo Lingo is the Ronald McDonald House set this year. For every set sold Stampin' Up! is donating $3 to the Ronald McDonald House Charities!

Next, the Hey There Buds single stamp stamped on a background stamped with the Dictionary single stamp. (how many times can you say that sentence fast? lol!)

The fun new Hot Diggity Dog set paired with Moonlight Designer Paper:

The creator of this card added a surprise "zipper"  flap using the perforating blade on the Stampin' Trimmer Rotary Cutter:

Hey there! I've been at Alisa's all day, sewing. I can't tell you yet what we are working on, but I love to dabble in other crafts. It gives me "fresh eyes" for stamping! (Don't worry, you WILL see the finished sewing results one of these days!)

Today I have the treat-holder I made for a convention swap using a tutorial by Canadian demo Martha Inchley. I contacted Martha for her permission to use her tutorial for my swap. A link to Martha's tutorial is HERE.

I used Flashback Designer Paper for the sides. Flashback is my FAVORITE DSP right now. (That may change when my pre-order from the Holiday Catalog arrives tomorrow, yay!)

Basic Black Baker's Twine to keeps the box top together attaches the tag:

Stampin’ Up! Corner Garden Embossed Blendabilities!

Hey there!  As promised, here's the second card we are making this weekend at my Punch & Technique Class, inspired by Karen Kurz:

We are using the Corner Background stamp to embossing with White Embossing Powder, then coloring the blooms individually with the Blendability Alcohol markers. It's actually pretty easy to do. The Blendability ink dries quickly on the black cardstock and it's easy to re-color if you need to!

Class dates: Friday, August 8, 2-9 p.m.

            Saturday, August 9, 2-6 p.m.

Stampin’ Up! Timeless Talk Birthday Wishes for Ava!

Stampin’ Up! Timeless Talk Birthday Wishes for Ava!

Hey there! Last night was Ava's birthday party. She had five girlfriends spend the night, so I'm sure the nail polishes, hair paint, and juggle bubbles she received from us were put to good use!

Inspiration for her card was from a convention board sample:

I changed the colors, embellishments, and greeting. Six different circle punches created the snail shell. The body is the Bird Builder Punch.

The Timeless Talk greeting, stamped inside a Just Sayin' shape, was cut with a Word Bubbles Framelit. The stems are from the Flower Frenzy Bigz L Die. The blooms are the Blossom, Pansy, Petite Petals, and Boho Blossom punches.

I finished off the bloom and snail shell centers with Regals and Subtles candy dots.

The snail's eye is a Project Life Journaling Pen, with "light" from a White Chalk Marker. I colored the Rhinestones for the antennae, punched from the Cupcake Builder Punch, with a Rich Razzleberry Blendability.

Hey there! Just a quick post. I've been getting ready today to go to Ava's birthday party tonight! Her card is finished and her presents are wrapped!

Here's Liam's card I've been waiting to share:

I combined the Calling All Heros Photopolymer, Dear Heart Photopolymer, and the Star Framelits that are on sale in one of the Big Shot Bundles this month.

Can you guess what I used for "Super Liam's" arms and legs? I cut them out with the baby hanger from the Baby's First Framelits:

Stampin_up_calling_all_heros_2

I love the alphabet that is included in the Calling All Heros set. It lets you make any word or phrase you want and names. And the clear photopolymer of the stamps lets you see exactly where you are stamping!

Stamping the envelope to match was fun, including the "Love You, Dear Heart" phrase from the Dear Heart set.
