Stampin’ Up! Cottage Rose!

Hey there! Today I have the first in a series of three cards to share with you, created with the Cottage Rose Bundle of stamps and dies! I knew as soon as I thumbed through the catalog the first time that I would have to own this one!

I used a favorite color combo: Blushing Bride, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, and Soft Sea Foam!

After stamping the bloom image with Early Espresso ink and cutting it out with the coordinating Cottage Flowers die, I then used Blending Brushes to add Blushing Bride, Crumb Cake, and Soft Sea Foam to it. I added a touch of Clear Wink of Stella to the bloom's center to add some shine.

I created the coordinating Blushing Bride mat for the bloom by using the same die to cut the shape from Blushing Bride card stock, then snipping it into two pieces. I then added it to the back of the finished bloom with Stampin' Seal, then adhered to the card front with dimensionals.

I added Blushing Bride to the designer paper with a Blending Brush, and scattered a few Iridescent Pearls for an elegant look.

I stamped the birthday greeting from Cottage Rose with Early Espresso ink directly onto the Blushing Bride-striped print from the Abigail Rose designer pack. This striped print is the flip-side to the Early Espresso bloom-print I used on the card front flap. After I adhered to the bloom with dimensionals, I added a double-bow tied from Linen Thread using a glue dot.

I kept the inside simple with another Cottage Rose sentiment and leaves image, all stamped with Early Espresso ink.

Stampin’ Up! Hues of Happiness Abounds!

Hey there! Today I have a girly birthday card created with the Happiness Abounds bundle and the Hues of Happiness Designer Paper!

I started with a Coastal Cabana card base, then added a Basic White layer stamped with the Happiness Abound birthday greeting, cut with a Blooming Happiness die, and then embossed with the Painted Posies 3D embossing folder!

I then added flowers and leaves cut from the sheet of Hues of Happiness Designer Paper that coordinates with the Blooming Happiness dies! So easy to cut out. I finished the card front with White 3/8" Glittered Organdy Ribbon and a few Iridescent Rhinestones.

Inside I stamped another Happiness Abounds sentiment with Tuxedo Black ink. I added a few more partial blooms rescued from the edge of the Hues of Happiness designer paper sheet. My final addition was a tiny bloom and leaf hand-cut from the same sheet of Hues of Happiness paper and added with a tiny dot of liquid glue.

Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Prints to Kick off the New Catalog!

Hey there! The Stampin' Up! New Annual Catalog launched this morning! I will leave a link to the catalog at the bottom of this post for your enjoyment!

Today I have one more card created with the Nature's Prints Bundle of stamps and dies, as well as the new Fern 3D embossing folder! I used a monochromatic color combo of Gray Granite and Basic White.

I rubbed the Gray Granite ink pad on the inside of the Fern 3D embossing folder before I inserted the 4" x 5 1/4" Gray Granite layer so the fern design would pop! I also added Clear Wink of Stella to the focal image after stamping and cutting with a Nature's Prints die.

The "Hello there" sentiment from Nature's Prints is just the perfect size to tuck into so many small spaces on your card. After assembling my card front I accented with a few Elegant Faceted Gems.

Inside I stamped another Nature's Prints sentiment, as well as a few more bits of foliage with Gray Granite ink.

To create a darker Gray Granite inside mat layer I dragged my ink pad directly on the Gray Granite card stock to give it a darker shade! You can do this with almost all of our card stock and ink pad colors!

Stampin’ Up! Sending Smiles Sneak Peek!

Hey there! Today's card was inspired by Australian demonstrator, Alisa Tilsner! She was inspired by a card she saw on another website, which is how most of us come up with our card ideas! I'm partial to her creations for two reasons: #1 She is an accomplished stamper, particularly as a watercolor artist, and #2 She has the same first name as my youngest daughter!

I took her basic layout and the images she used from the Sending Smiles stamp set and used Soft Succulent, Fresh Freesia, and Gorgeous Grape for my card:

I took her advice and added Adhesive Sheet to the back of the "sending" die-cut before running through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss. I just made 21 swap cards using these two dies and wish I had used Adhesive Sheet on the back of the skinny die-cut. I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue, but I have to say the Adhesive Sheet was much cleaner and faster!

I stamped the rest of the greeting on Soft Succulent card stock with Tuxedo Black ink, then cut with a new Stylish Shapes die. I can tell this die set will be my go-to set for so many cut-outs! I also added a few Fresh Freesia 2021-2023 In Color Opal Rounds for a bit of sparkle.

I adhered the "sending" and the "birthday wishes" with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I needed a darker version of Fresh Freesia for the background of the white "sending", so I used my Stampin' Blends trick again, coloring the regular Fresh Freesia card stock with a Dark Fresh Freesia Stampin' Blend!

I also cut the vellum circle (from the Lovely Layers 3 3/4" x 5" Vellum pack) with the largest circle in the Stylish Shapes dies. This vellum is a little bit lighter-weight and more transparent than our regular Vellum Card Stock.

Inside I repeated some of the front layer stamping, then added this wonderful sentiment from the Happiness Abounds stamp set. I think I will be using this phrase A LOT this coming year!

Stampin’ Up! Wild & Sweet Sneak Peek!

Hey there! I'm working on more swaps to mail out, so today I played with the Wild & Sweet stamp set, Sending Smiles Bundle, and He's the Man Designer Series Paper to create this card!

Of course I stamped the raccoon image with Early Espresso ink on the Soft Succulent layer before embossing with the Timber 3D embossing folder!

I cut the "Sending" word from the Sending Smiles bundle from both Early Espresso and Basic White card stock before adhering together with a thin line of liquid glue, then adhering to the card front also with liquid glue. I added a 1" x 4" strip of He's the Man Designer Paper to the left side of the card front. Raccoons and camping seem to go together, so this print was perfect!

Inside I stamped a sentiment from Sending Smiles with Early Espresso ink, then added a 1/2" x 3 1/2" strip of the same He's the Man designer paper print to the left side of the Basic White sentiment layer.

Altogether a quick and easy card!
