Stampin’ Up! Toile Christmas Cardinal!

Stampin’ Up! Toile Christmas Cardinal!

Hey there! Yesterday was a very productive day, stamping-wise, as well as a fun day with my granddaughter, Darcy! She painted with water, stamped with a fun retired set I had saved for her, played with stickers, and ended the day with a 4-wheeler ride in the dark with her PaPa and I! We stay strictly on farm ground, no roads whatsoever, on well-worn paths mostly, so very safe! It was chilly, so we put on coats and wedged her between us so she stayed warm! Sweet memories!

Today I want to share with you an ornament I created with the Toile Tidings Suite on pages 6-9 of the Holiday Catalog:

Stampin_up_toile_christmas_carolpaynestamps1

I have to say this turned out exactly the way I imagined it in my head!

I sponged the edges of the white heat-embossed cardinal and the Garden Green wreath with Crumb Cake ink for a vintage look.

Stampin_up_toile_christmas_carolpaynestamps2

I added Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels for pops of color.

Sunday Swap Day on Monday!

Sunday Swap Day on Monday!

Hey there! My weekend was crazy busy! I spent a big chunk of Friday helping Jessica photograph an adorable set of newborn twin girls, then Saturday I made a batch of homemade pumpkin ice cream to take to Grace & Troy's 2nd Annual Pumpkin Palooza! Everything was pumpkin-themed, Pumpkin pizza, Pumpkin salad dressing & croutons, Pumpkin pasta, and of course yummy Pumpkin desserts! Then evening culminated with a Pumpkin-carving contest!

71739259_2919557098074465_696013104017833984_n

Sunday was spent with our church family at our Annual Homecoming service and "dinner on the grounds", then a lazy afternoon, including a little nap!

The handsome fella I'm sitting with at the Pumpkin Paloooza is my oldest son, Troy!

October 5 2019 Pumpkin Palooza

With all of that going on, I am just now getting back into the swing of things to post some swaps!

Today I want to share a couple of gorgeous fall swaps with the Gather Together Bundle.

This first swap did not have any creator's name. I love the combo of Merry Merlot and Copper! The Come To Gather Designer Paper inspired it all!

Stampin_up_gather_together_carolpaynestamps1

The copper foil paper was cut and embossed at the same time with Gathered Leaves dies.

Stampin_up_gather_together_carolpaynestamps2

This swap was created by Chris Kolly. Chris used two more prints from the Come to Gather Designer Paper along with the Word Wishes Bundle:

Stampin_up_gather_together_carolpaynestamps3

A Word Wishes die cut out "Thanksgiving", and the pumpkins were stamped and cut with the Gather Together Bundle.

Stampin’ Up! Capture the Good!

Stampin’ Up! Capture the Good!

Hey there! Today I have a fun card I created especially for my daughter Jessica's birthday last week. She is a professional photographer, so I wanted to use the Capture the Good stamp set for her card. I used the Flip Flap Fold technique to make a card that moves!

Stampin_up_capture_the_good_carolpaynestamps1

The card has an arm that you pull to flip the camera back to see the "smile" greeting.

Stampin_up_capture_the_good_carolpaynestamps4

And a faux filmstrip!

Stampin_up_capture_the_good_carolpaynestamps3

Every image used on this card is from the Capture the Good set.

Stampin_up_capture_the_good_carolpaynestamps5

I am excited this morning because today a box arrives from Stampin' Up! with the brand-new Paper Trimmer and a new Product Suite called Christmastime IS HERE! Only Demonstrators can order these right now (which is a super reason to join my team of Yes Mam! Stampers ASAP) Later in the month I am hosting a team meeting where the main focus will be stamping projects with this suite!  I can't wait to play!

Stampin’ Up! Everything Amazing for a Fall Birthday!

Stampin’ Up! Everything Amazing for a Fall Birthday!

Hey there! The page turned while we slept and now it is October! October is my favorite month of the year. I love the bright blue skies, the crisp nights, warm afternoons, crunchy leaves, and the smell of everything fall in the air!

My card I'm sharing today is perfect for a fall birthday! I used Everything Amazing  with Buffalo Check for the background and Gather Together for the accents leaves.

Stampin_up_everything_amazing_carolpaynestamps1

I stamped "Amazing" with the Stamparatus and Versamark ink, then heat-embossed with white powder. I used the Stamparatus again for perfect placement of the "wishing you an" and "birthday" with Soft Suede ink.

Stampin_up_everything_amazing_carolpaynestamps2

I pressed the Gathered Leaves dies onto the ink pad before laying on the card stock and cutting with the die-cutting machine. I used the Soft Suede leaf to help close the card front.

Stampin_up_everything_amazing_carolpaynestamps3

Inside I stamped-off the Terracotta Tile leaf before stamping on the Very Vanilla inside, then stamped "wishing you well" with Soft Suede ink.

Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Christmas!

Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Christmas!

Hey there! Fall is here, even though the weather is still feeling rather summer-like, the humidity is lower, there is a light fall breeze, and the calendar says it's fall! I'm jumping over fall today to share a Christmas card with you created with the Itty Bitty Christmas bundle. This card was my swap this month!

I used Blueberry Bushel, Whisper White, and Sparkle Glimmer paper for my color palette.

Stampin_up_itty_bitty_christmas_carolpaynestamps1

It's hard for the camera to capture how shimmery the background is, brushed with Clear Wink of Stella over the Eyelet Lace-embossed Blueberry Bushel layer.

Stampin_up_itty_bitty_christmas_carolpaynestamps2

The snowflakes are cut from Sparkle Glimmer Paper. The new Stampin' Up! dies are so much better at cutting and releasing the card stock than before! With almost all of the dies the card stock almost falls out when you lift it from the cutting machine!

Stampin_up_itty_bitty_christmas_carolpaynestamps3

I traced icicles with Shimmery Crystal Effects, then sprinkled with Dazzling Diamonds Glitter.

Stampin_up_itty_bitty_christmas_carolpaynestamps5

I stamped the inside and envelope snowflakes with an image from the Free Skate stamp set, then used another Itty Bitty Christmas sentiment.
