Sunday Swap Day on Monday!

Hey there! My weekend was crazy busy! I spent a big chunk of Friday helping Jessica photograph an adorable set of newborn twin girls, then Saturday I made a batch of homemade pumpkin ice cream to take to Grace & Troy's 2nd Annual Pumpkin Palooza! Everything was pumpkin-themed, Pumpkin pizza, Pumpkin salad dressing & croutons, Pumpkin pasta, and of course yummy Pumpkin desserts! Then evening culminated with a Pumpkin-carving contest!

Sunday was spent with our church family at our Annual Homecoming service and "dinner on the grounds", then a lazy afternoon, including a little nap!

The handsome fella I'm sitting with at the Pumpkin Paloooza is my oldest son, Troy!

With all of that going on, I am just now getting back into the swing of things to post some swaps!

Today I want to share a couple of gorgeous fall swaps with the Gather Together Bundle.

This first swap did not have any creator's name. I love the combo of Merry Merlot and Copper! The Come To Gather Designer Paper inspired it all!

The copper foil paper was cut and embossed at the same time with Gathered Leaves dies.

This swap was created by Chris Kolly. Chris used two more prints from the Come to Gather Designer Paper along with the Word Wishes Bundle:

A Word Wishes die cut out "Thanksgiving", and the pumpkins were stamped and cut with the Gather Together Bundle.

Stampin’ Up! a Trio of Nature’s Beauty!

Hey there! I'm continuing my Nature's Beauty series today with a little Very Vanilla Note Card containing ALL THREE of the animals from the set!

I wanted to use all three, but with the size limitations of the note card being 3 1/2" x 5", I had to figure out a way to fit them all on there!

I started with Cajun Craze floral print from the Come To Gather Designer Paper, then added my images, stamped with Early Espresso on Crumb Cake, then punched with the 1 3/8" Scallop Circle Punch!

After punching I sponged the edges with Crumb Cake ink.

I added a Pumpkin Pie rhinestone from the Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels. These are found in the Holiday Catalog on page 58 and come in Cherry Cobbler, Coastal Cabana, Night of Navy, Pumpkin Pie, and Shaded Spruce!

I stamped a greeting from Itty Bitty Greetings, then double-punched with the Classic Label Punch to achieve the shortened greeting strip.

I finished the card by wrapping a length of 1/4" Copper Trim and spreading out the fibers after tying the knot. I love how this give the look of a bow without actually tying one!

Stampin’ Up! Gingham Nature’s Beauty!

Hey there! I took a little break from blogging to throw together a yard sale with my daughter, Alisa, and my newest daughter-in-law Faith, over the weekend. Working together (sweltering, actually!) in 90 degree heat to set up and and break down is a bonding experience, to say the least! lol! Despite the hard work, I thoroughly enjoyed working side by side with both girls, and after one more trip to the Christian Outreach store to drop off the left over stuff, we'll be done till next spring!

Today's project was again created with the Nature's Beauty stamp set, as well as with Rustic Retreat and Come to Gather Designer Series Paper.

After stamping the deer with Early Espresso and the foliage spray with Pretty Peacock, I dragged the edges of the Whisper White layer on the Pretty Peacock ink pad to get the torn, distressed look.

I used a 1/4" wide strip of Pretty Peacock card stock for a "ribbon". I stamped the greeting from Itty Bitty Greetings with Pretty Peacock ink, then accented with a Noble Peacock Rhinestone.

Inside I used a mix of images and a sentiment from Rustic Retreat.

Stampin’ Up! Gingham Nature’s Beauty!

Today's project was again created with the Nature's Beauty stamp set, as well as with Rustic Retreat and Come to Gather Designer Series Paper.

After stamping the deer with Early Espresso and the foliage spray with Pretty Peacock, I dragged the edges of the Whisper White layer on the Pretty Peacock ink pad to get the torn, distressed look.

Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Beauty Thinking of You!

Hey there! Today I have another Nature's Beauty creation to share with you; this one features the fox!

For this one I used a Very Vanilla Note Card & Envelope, then layered on a piece of Come to Gather Designer Series Paper. I sponged all of my edges with Crumb Cake ink.

After stamping the fox with Cajun Craze ink and punching with the Story Label Punch, I punched a second Story Label from Cajun Craze ink. I cut the Cajun Craze label down the center like a hot dog bun, then adhered to the back of the fox label with SNAIL. I cut a 1/4" wide strip of Cajun Craze card stock to use as my "ribbon" behind the focal image.

I stamped the greeting from Rustic Retreat with Cajun Craze, then used my Paper Snips to cut it out. I've discovered you can also use one of the Stitched Labels Dies to cut this greeting if you don't like to "fussy cut"!

Inside I used a sentiment from Rustic Retreat, stamped with Cajun Craze ink.

Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Beauty as the Holiday Catalog Goes LIVE!

Hey there! TODAY'S THE DAY! The Holiday Catalog went LIVE this morning for everyone to order from! I'm soooo excited to finally be able to post my projects and you can actually order the supplies to make them! yippee!

My project today is another one I created with the Nature's Beauty stamp set, located on the back page of the 2019 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog. This stamp set is special because Stampin' Up! will donate $3 from the sale of every set to Mental Health Organizations. If you love nature-themed sets, Nature's Beauty is for you!

I combined Nature's Beauty with images and sentiments from Rustic Retreat, as well as two patterns from the Come to Gather Designer Series Paper.

The pines from Rustic Retreat are just perfect for the background!

I wanted a little more texture for this card, so I added a strand of 3/16" Braided Linen Trim, then frayed the ends after tying the knot.

Stampin’ Up! Harvest Hellos Holiday Catalog Sneak Peek!

Hey there! The Holiday Catalog goes live for stampers in less than a week, so it's time to start sharing some sneak peeks! The card I'm sharing today is one I"m sending to everyone who has placed an order with me this month, both in person and online orders. It's a simple and quick little note card I created with the Harvest Hellos Bundle and a snippet of Come to Gather Designer Series Paper:

After stamping the apple pieces I punched with the Apple Builder Punch, which is included in the Harvest Hellos Bundle.

I love the font of this greeting, also from Harvest Hellos!
