Stampin’ Up! Bird Builder Punch Treat Holder!

I try to not blog surf too much (however, I'm sure we each have our own definition of "too much" lol!) However, there are a handful of blogs that I visit regularly because they either are constantly inspiring & teaching me, or they are a resource "jumping off place" that can't be beat!

Today, I did a bit of "jumping off" and found this treat holder by UK Stampin' Up! Demo Michelle Last. She is an uber-successful demo, having achieved #1 Demonstrator in the UK two years running! Here is my version of her treat holder:

Isn't this cute little chick adorable? He is made with the Bird Builder Punch and with just a little bit of punching modification he is transformed into a chickie!

I used the soon-to-be-retired-forever Hostess Set, Precious Butterflies, and used Lucky Limeade cardstock and Wisteria Wonder 3/8" Ruffled Ribbon.

Stampin’ Up! Mixed Bunch Blossom Punch Make n Take from Leadership!

I found this card as I was finishing up the projects for the Tea Shoppe, one of the M & T's from Leadership. At every Stampin' Up! event they always give us one card project that contains enough supplies to make two of the same, then we donate one to the local Ronald McDonald House. This card is this RMH card, and I had forgotten how cute it was! (I also had forgotten WHERE it was, so finding it was a big surprise, but we won't go there! ha!)

We snipped the blossom petals with Paper Snips to give it more dimension and then layered it over a second solid punched blossom. So fun and easy! The center flower is from the Blossom Builders Designer Printed Kit in the Occasions Mini.The button in the center is from the Brights Buttons Collection that is still free with a $50 Sale-a-bration order until March 31st! We also created our own "ric rac" with the Scallop Border Punch! Fun!

Good morning! I have been wanting to show you this card from my good stamping friend and hostess, Crystal for awhile. Crystal is an avid stamper, she even has her own stampin' and scrappin' blog! Not a demonstrator yet, I hope she decides she is ready to join my team one of these days!

Stampin’ Up! Blossom Punch Pixie Stix!

Good morning! I am busy as lil' ol' bee today, gathering up everything to go do a vendor event in Nashville, IL- Relay for Life Girl's Night Out Quarter Auction. There will be lots of great donations to "bid" on with your quarters, and even an opportunity to earn a free bidding paddle when you spend $60 betweeen two vendors! All proceeds from the Auction go to the "Relay for Life" campaign, so come on out to the Nashville Community Center, 455 S Washington in Nashville, IL and see me along with a bunch of other great vendors!

We saw a bear!

Another fun thing that happened on our trip up the White Pass Trail by bus was we got to see a real live bear!

He wasn't a very big bear, probably a half-grown cub from last year, but he was a black bear our bus driver told us. This little guy was right beside the edge of the road foraging for food. Our bus stopped right beside him so we could take pictures of him and he continued to eat and look around as if we weren't even there! So sorry this picture is blurry, it was pretty cold outside so the window were cold and so my breath kept fogging it up! But we were excited, especially since earlier in the trip someone had asked the driver if we would see any bears and he wasn't too hopeful about it at all!

It just so happens I participated in a 6×6 Alaskan Cruise scrapbook page swap before the cruise and this was my page made with punches and the "Plant Hope" & "Word Play" stamp sets! I gave this one to Stampin' Up! and they put it on display in the Hospitality Room along with all the other swaps!

So there you are! More VBS tonight, so I have lots to do, as well as prepare for the Medallion Tile Class this weekend AND a yard sale at my house! I'm getting tired just thinking about it!
