Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day!

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day!

Hey there! It's Sunday again, the last Sunday of the current Annual and Occasions Catalogs. The final day to order from either catalog is Tuesday, June 2nd, but it's a really cool day because you can also start ordering from the new catalog on that day too! It's a one-day trifecta for ordering!

But it IS Sunday Swap Day today, and so here are today's swaps!

First, Katy Simecka created this unique get well card using Something Borrowed Designer Paper, Crazy about You  and Sassy Salutations stamp sets:

Stampin_up_crazy_about_you_1 - Copy

This is definitely special! Stampin_up_crazy_about_you_2 - Copy
Next, Ruth Bingle also used Crazy about You with the Hearts Collection framelits (retiring and sold out) to create her fun fold card:

Stampin_up_crazy_about_you_3 - Copy

Crazy about You, which will still be available in the new Annual Catalog, has 30, yes, I said THIRTY words as well as three images. This allows you to create an almost infinite number of phrases! The Something Borrowed Embellishment she used in the cente of her flower are also going away after June 2nd, so get some now before they are gone!

Stampin_up_crazy_about_you_4 - Copy

Cathy Stephenson used the Painted Blooms desginer paper and the Painted Petals stamp set for her sid-stair-step card. Both of these products are retiring on June 2nd!

Stampin_up_painted_petals_2 - Copy

Finally,Cathy Morgan used  Petal Potpourri, Crazy About You (the leaves), and Bloom with Hope Hostess set for her 4-panel screen card:

Stampin_up_petal_potpourri_1 - Copy

Here's the link to my online store: www.carolpayne.stampinup.net

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day!

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day!

Hey there! How are you this bright and shiny Sunday? At least it is bright and shiny where I am today; I hope it is for you too!

Today I have aother collection of cards created by the swap group I participate in:

First a masculine Moon Lake card with an interesting fold from Susie Wood:

Stampin_up_moon_lake_1
Susie created the water for this loon by using the "swish" stamp from Work of Art with Soft Sky ink.

Here's a side view of the fancy fold:

Stampin_up_moon_lake_2

Next, Ann Betty combined the Feel Goods set with Lullaby Designer Paper for her creation:

Stampin_up_feel_goods_1

Cindy Dewrtz used From the Garden with the Handpicked Framelit dies:

Stampin_up_from_the_garden_1

Sweet Dreams Designer Paper is the perfect cheery background:

Stampin_up_from_the_garden_2

Karen Kurz tackled this "marquee" card with the Snapshot single stamp (retiring), Age Awareness, and Hip Notes set (also retiring):

Stampin_up_snapshot_1

It looks pretty ordinary until you start to open it:

Stampin_up_snapshot_2

The more you open it the more the center opens up:

Stampin_up_snapshot_3

I've never made one of these cards, but I'm thinking one might be in my future. You will get to see it if I do! I've already started the "reverse-engineering" process as my son calls it! lol!

Finally, Brenda Hukriede used the Flower Patch set and her Envelope Punch board to create this card with the envelope built right in!

Stampin_up_flower_patch_1

The envelope created with Flower Pot Designer Paper (retiring) opens up to reveal a riot of gorgeous flowers:

Stampin_up_flower_patch_2

The current Stampin' Up! catalog expires on June 2nd. After that date you will no longer be able to order anything on the retiring lists. Right now the stamps are all still available, but after May 25 they will become while supplies last too!

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day on Monday Again!

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day on Monday Again!

Hey there! This morning while I was sitting in the worship service I remembered I  HAD FORGOTTEN TO PUT MY SUNDAY DINNER IN THE OVEN. I was  baking a lasagna AND another dish. The lasagna needed to cook longer, so I put it in first, planning to pop in the other one just before I headed out the door, but then I completely forgot! Fortunately I live about 5 minutes from church, so I was able to slip out during the offering, drive home, put the dish in the oven, and drive back. I slipped back into my seat just as our pastor started his sermon.Yikes!

Monday and Tuesday I will be babysitting at my daughter's house again, so I am actually prepping this blog post on Sunday night. I sleep over the night before I babysit, which works great because I get to sleep longer and my daughter doesn't have to worry that a driving delay might make me (and her) run late! There are THREE railroad crossings between my house and hers.

So without further ado, we have Sunday Swap Day on Monday again:

Carol Slack created this sparkly graduation tribute with the Class of 2015 stamp:

Stampin_up_class_of_2015_1

Inside she used Crazy About You with the Hello You Thinlets Dies:

Stampin_up_crazy_about_you_2

Rhonda Bassler created an elegant wedding card with the Your Perfect Day set:

Stampin_up_your_perfect_day_1

She used the soon-retiring Beautiful Baroque Textured Impressions Folder.

Stampin_up_your_perfect_day_3

Pansy punch, 7/8" Scallop Circle punch, Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack, Elegant Butterfly, and Bitty Butterfly.Sahara Sand ink.

Kim Allen created a traditional Father's Day card with the Guy Greetings set and Typeset Specialty Designer paper (which is NOT retiring, yay!)

Stampin_up_guy_greetings_1
You can still order the supplies for these cards in my online store:

www.carolpayne.stampinup.net

Three things to remember while you are placing your order with me:

1. All orders of any amount will receive a Thank You Project Packet in the mail from me!

3. When your order total (before tax & shipping) reaches $150 you can choose free Stampin'  Rewards starting at $25!

I will be continuing to babysit for my daughter's little ones through the end of May. Her school year ends June 1st. Her husband's work schedule as a nurse is different every week, so some days I will be able to post and some days I won't. PLEASE don't give up on me! I'm hoping to be able to start scheduling my blog posts a week ahead of time so there will be a new project for you every day. But you know what they say about "the best laid plans . . ."!

That's all for now, until next time, have a Stampingrox! day!

Stampin’ Up! Painted Blooms One Sheet Wonder!

Stampin’ Up! Painted Blooms One Sheet Wonder!

Hey there. Just a quick post this morning before the internet here at my daughter's decides to go down. You never know about the connection here at her house (I'm babysitting my grand babies), one minute it's great and the next it's gone!

Here's a set of cards using just one sheet from the Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper pack. I've seen several versions of this around the net, but decided to have a go at my own version:

Stampin_up_painted_blooms_one_sheet_wonder_1 - Copy

Stampin’ Up! Fabulous Four It’s Your Day and New Weekly Deals!

Stampin’ Up! Fabulous Four It’s Your Day and New Weekly Deals!

Hey there! I had zero internet connection yesterday while I was at Kimberly's taking care of Liam and Darcy, so I was "unplugged". You know, sometimes it's not a bad thing to be forced away from online contact. I got a lot of other things done, including stamping with Liam (he loved sponging my pre-embossed butterflies).

This morning I reviewed my posts from the past few weeks and discovered I had not shown you the fourth card in the Fabulous Four set all by itself:
Stampin_up_fabulous_four_its_your_day_1
I really like this layout with the punched circles. It's a fun way to show several prints from the same package of designer paper. I LOVE the Itty Bitty Accents Epoxy Stickers too. You can punch a base shape that matches the larger stickers with the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack to add color underneath!

Stampin_up_fabulous_four_its_your_day_2

Inside I used the "Congratulations" from Sassy Salutations.

Here's the supply list for this card. You can order everything to make this card and the rest of the set in my online store:

www.carolpayne.stampinup.net

 Product List

Glue Dots

$4.95

Here are the newest Weekly Deals I was unable to post for you yesterday:
