Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day on Monday!

Hey there and good morning!I'm glad this rain held off until late in the afternoon yesterday. All the grand kids were able to play together and we had a little photo shoot! Here's I am with all six of my babies. They are all grown up now, but you know how it is, they will always be my babies!

They also surprised me with this:

The signatures are from my parents' marriage certificate and the date. It's one of those "I never knew I always wanted" kind of gifts! I was in tears when they gave it to me. I will treasure it forever!

Ok, now that you have endured my gushing, how about some swaps?

Kelly Acheson created a detachable bookmark card with the Dictionary Background (retiring) and Mother's Love from the Occasions Catalog, which is also retiring on June 2nd:

Pool Party, Whisper White, Basic Black card stocks with Memento Tuxedo Black, Pool Party, and Pearl Pizzazz inks. The Scalloped Tag Topper punch was used to create the top of the bookmark.

Next, Linda Pagel created this pull-up pop-up card with the Just Kidding stamp set. She used the retiring Chevron Background (retiring) on the Melon Mambo layer with Melon Mambo ink, attaching to the Bermuda Bay card base.

The card pulls up and pops out!

Laura Milligan used the same Just Kidding set for her creation:

She used Pacific Point, Basic Black, Real Red, and Whisper White with a bit of Back to Black Designer Paper (retiring)

Finally, Tamie Ackerson used an old favorite, Summer Silhouettes for her soft and pretty birthday card:

A bit of Pool Party 1/4" Cotton Ribbon for the bow:

Stampin’ Up! Mother’s Love!

Hey there! Just a quick post this morning. There are about 25 people coming to my house today for Mother's Day dinner (don't worry, I'm not doing ALL of that cooking, we are getting some KFC, and using disposable plates, cups, etc)

I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Mother's Day and share this card with you. I belong to a Facebook group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators that shares card ideas. Each month I share a card idea and then I can share any of the other ideas that month with you!

Even though this card was created by a UK demo, the sentiment still rings true:

Stampin’ Up! Fabulous Four the Set!

Hey there! Today is Ava & Cohen's Spring Program! Ava is the Statue of Liberty! Afterwards I'm bringing her home with me to spend the night, then tomorrow I'm taking her to her dance recital picture shoot! I'm so thankful I can be there for my grandbabies whenever I need to!

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day on Monday!

Good morning Monday! It's a lovely day today, just perfect for sharing some swaps!

These cards were the Make & Takes at the Spring Into Stamping Event I attended on Saturday. All were created with the Kinda Eclectic stamp set and the 2014/2016 In Colors of card stock and inks:

This card opens to reveal of "pop-up" Butterfly!

Next, we used the Kinda Eclectic set to embellish a small Kraft Journal (retiring)

This collection of projects shows just how easy it is to make a lot of different looks with one set of stamps and inks!

Adding in a package of gold buttons and some white Baker's Twine:

Bitty Butterfly, Elegant Butterfly, and a few other punches add just enough depth:

Stampin’ Up! Fabulous Four Thanks!

Hey there! I just got home from the Spring Into Stamping event in Champaign, IL a few hours ago. After I arrived home I headed back to Mt Vernon to grab the groceries we need for Sunday dinner tomorrow. Now I am home,the groceries are put away and I'm about ready to put myself away for the night too!

My presentation went really well and I received a lot of positive feedback.I feel like it was a day well spent!

I'm really too tired at the moment to post a Sunday Swap Day blog, so I'm just going to share this next card in my Fabulous Four series and call it a night. We will have a Sunday Swap Day on Monday, ok?

This card uses the same Fabulous Four set and Sweet Dreams Designer Series Paper, and a length of Gold Metallic Baker's Twine.

I continued the diagonal strips of designer paper on the inside, then added a sentiment from A Dozen Thoughts and accent images from Little Sunshine.

That's really all for now. I'm happily worn out for today. Hopefully by the time you read this post I will be waking up from a restful night's sleep!

Stampin’ Up! Fabulous Four Get Well!

Hey there! As you are reading this I am in Champaign, IL attending the Spring Into Stamping demonstrator event with seven of my dowline. And, if you are reading this in the afternoon that means I've already given my presentation and am taking a deep breath!

Today I am starting a new series of cards I created to show during my presentation today with the Fabulous Four stamp set:

In case you haven't noticed, I don't do white space very well, but all four cards in this series have a LOT of white space, and I like it!

I opened my Itty Bitty Accents Epoxy Stickers to add the heart to the end of the banner. The larger stickers coordinate with the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack punches, so I punched a bit of Sweet Dreams Designer paper to match the Sweet Dreams Designer Washi tape.

Inside I used a sentiment from Sassy Salutations and images from the Little Sunshine set.
