Stampin’ Up! Fable Friends!

Hey there! Even though it's technically still winter and spring is still more than two weeks away, I decided it was time to share a fun spring card with you created with the Fable Friends stamp set!

I colored this adorable little fellow with my Stampin' Blends Markers. See my project supply list for the specific colors!

I stamped the daisy petals with the Daisy Delight stamp set and punched with the Daisy Punch. I added a Gold Faceted Gem to the center.

I used sentiments from Daisy Delight inside:

I colored the Fable Friends ducklings with Stampin' Blends too!

Stampin’ Up! Cats Instead of Teacups!

Hey there! Today I am sharing cards created by my long-time stampers, Donna & Jennifer Ninness. I've been a Stampin' Up! demonstrator for over 16 years, and these gals have been stamping with me for probably 12 of those years. The two cards I'm sharing today were the result of "necessity being the mother of invention":

This card had the Tea Together teacup, but I forgot to bring my Stamparatus, which had the teacup mounted on it, so they grabbed the new Nine Lives stamp set from one of their last orders and went to work! Cats instead of teacups! TaDa!

The Cat Punch from the Annual Catalog punches the kitty perfectly! Jennifer's card featured this gray tabby:

Donna's kitty is more of a gray calico. She stamped the Real Red bow from Nine Lives and then cut it out. I'm pretty sure Jennifer added a bow to her kitty after she saw Donna's!

Donna's kitty is more of a gray calico. She stamped the Real Red bow from Nine Lives and then cut it out. I'm pretty sure Jennifer added a bow to her kitty after she saw Donna's!

Stampin’ Up! Lift Me Up Baby Shower Card for Sheila!

Hey there! Today I'm sharing a special baby shower card. Sheila's my oldest daughter, Jessica's, bestie since they were babies. Both now 40, Sheila is having her very first baby in December. We are over the moon happy for her and her sweet hubby, David!

Honored to be asked to create an "Adventure Awaits" banner for the event, I'm waiting for pictures as I didn't feel my camera could do it justice. But I can share the card I created that coordinates with the banner:

I used the Up & Away Thinlets Dies to create the hot-air balloon. The map paper background is a retired Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper. I keep almost all of my retired stuff. Although it takes up a lot of storage room, it comes in handy when a custom project like this comes along!

I cut the intricate balloon outline from Basic Black card stock, then used more of the thinlets to cut the panels behind it from Coastal Cabana, Blushing Bride, and Mint Macaron.

I used "Congratualtions" from the Beautiful Bouquet set to stamp in black ink.

Inside I used a sentiment from Hold on To Hope:

I inked the mini-balloon from Lift Me Up with Coastal Cabana, Blushing Bride, and Mint Macaron Stampin' Write Markers. After cutting out with an Up & Away Thinlet, I adhered with a Stampin' Dimensional.

Lest you think I am a perfect stamper who never makes a mistake, here's what I discovered after I adhered the banner to the card front. Can you see what's wrong with this card? Fortunately it was easily fixed!

Carol Payne Stamps Country Lane!

Hey there! I've been working on the cards for my Country Home Class in early October. Today I used three designs from Country Lane Designer Series Paper with Country Home stamps. I adhered each strip to an Early Espresso layer before adding a piece of Chicken Wire Element with a thin layer of Liquid Glue.

I stamped the greeting from Country Home with Blackberry Bliss ink on a strip of 2" x 4" Whisper White. then stamped-off Mint Macaron ink with the bloom image over the greeting. I punched both ends with the Tag Topper Scallop Punch so I could thread Rich Razzleberry 1/4" Velvet Ribbon through the slots, wrapping around to the back and securing the ends on the back with double-stick tape, I then adhered it all to the card base with a generous amount of SNAIL adhesive.

I pressed a Framed Element into the Blackberry Bliss ink pad, dried with my Heat Tool, then slid under the edge of the greeting banner, securing with a couple of glue dots.

Inside I used a sentiment from Bunch of Blossoms.

Simply thankful!

Stampin’ Up! Stitched All Around Diagonal Fold!

Hey there! Today I want to share with you another card I created with the Diagonal Fold, this time with Garden Impressions Designer Paper and the Stitched All Around Bundle!

I used Tranquil Tide and Mango Melody markers to ink the greeting before cutting out with the Stitched Label Framelit. I added a Blossoms Element with a glue dot. This is more of a hand-deliver card!

Inside I used a sentiment from Thankful Thoughts. The base of this card is all one piece. It's the folds that make it great!

I love this verse from Isaiah 46. God always keeps his promises!

Finally, my sister Stampers Dozen Blog hopper, Judy Garza, used Night of Navy, Old Olive, and Whisper White for her card. She cut the cross from Silver Foil, embossed the Old Olive background with the Layered Leaves Dynamic folder, and added a Clear Faceted Gem to the center for some sparkle.
