Stampin’ Up! Hold On To Hope for VBS!

Hey there! I'm the director of VBS Crafts and I order most of my kits from Oriental Trading. When they arrived, one set of kits was on backorder and now are listed as "out of stock". I've hunted Pinterest and racked my brain, but was coming up with zilch. Then I pulled out Hold On To Hope and my Heat Tool and went to work!

I started by clear heat embossing two crosses on Pool Party cardstock, cutting with a Cross Hope die. I adhered back-to-back with Stampin' Dimensionals, then stamped the "God is Love" banner on Very Vanilla with Early Espresso. I pressed the Versamark pad directly on the image, then heat embossed with clear powder. I cut with another Cross of Hope die, then adhered with dimensionals.

For the flip side, I stamped a bible verse, from the now retired His Grace, with Early Espresso on Very Vanilla. I pressed the Versamark pad on it, heat embossed with clear powder, punched with the 1 3/8" Scallop Circle and adhering with stampin' dimensionals.

I finished the cross by punching at the top with my long-retired Crop-a-dile, then used retired ribbon to create a necklace.

This craft is a mix of old and new Stampin' Up! Sometimes I'm really glad I'm a packrat! lol!

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day Hold on to Hope!

Hey there! Just a quick post before church this morning. I want to share with you three awesome swaps I've received using the Hold on to Hope set!

This card created by Kathy Johnson was the inspiration for the Touches of Texture Mini-Easel card I shared with you earlier this week HERE.

Kathy kept her colors simple: Berry Burst & Whisper White! Kathy also used a bunch of the dies in the coordinating Cross of Hope Framelits.

Susan B. Levasseur combined Whole Lot of Lovely Designer Series Paper (retiring and now SOLD OUT) with Crosses of Hope to create a WOW card:

I love this verse from Isaiah 46. God always keeps his promises!

Finally, my sister Stampers Dozen Blog hopper, Judy Garza, used Night of Navy, Old Olive, and Whisper White for her card. She cut the cross from Silver Foil, embossed the Old Olive background with the Layered Leaves Dynamic folder, and added a Clear Faceted Gem to the center for some sparkle.
