Stampin’ Up! Garden Birdhouses!

Hey there! I think this week I should be able to stay on track with my blog posts. Right now I have cards made to last through Thursday, and I'm planning to do a ton of stamping today, so maybe I can get ahead and stay that way for awhile! lol!

Today's card I created with the Garden Birdhouses stand-alone stamp set and Scalloped Contours Dies:

I used Blending Brushes to add Crumb Cake and Soft Succulent to my layers, which were cut with Scalloped Contours dies and embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder. I turned the white in the Hand-Penned designer paper sort of vanilla-ish by adding Crumb Cake over it with my Blending Brush.

I colored the birdhouses with Stampin' Blends and added a few Genial Gems for some sparkle.

I stamped a greeting from Garden Birdhouses with Tuxedo Black ink, and used ribbon from the Flowers For Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack. I hand-cut the birdies with my Paper Snips and then added them to the card with tiny snippets of a Stampin' Dimensional.

Inside I stamped more sentiments from Garden Birdhouses.

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day July 11th!

Hey there! Vacation Bible School is over for the year and we had a really great week with a wonderful group of kids! We averaged between 70-80 kids each night. I always prepare for 100, so I never run out of packets!

It's time to get back to blogging, and I don't know of a better way than to start with a Sunday Swap Day! I have a whimsical and fun group of swaps to share today!

First, a fun little mini Post-it Note Easel by Stephanie Flath created with the Tailor Made Tags dies and Party Puffins!

Next, a Party Puffins card created by Joanne Cantrell.

How darling is that bow-wrapped fish?!

Cathy Miller used the Turtle Friends Bundle of stamps and punch to create her fun-fold card. She also used the Biggest Wish stamp set and Pattern Party Host Designer Paper.

I wasn't kidding when I said this was a fun-fold!

Susie Wood combined the Turtle Friends bundle with Layering Circles dies and You're A Peach Designer Paper. (YES! Those camo-print strips of background are the flip side of one of the You're A Peach DSP pages!)

We started with Stephanie Flath and we end with a Turtle Friends card created by Stephanie too! She used tiny pink hearts from the Shaker Shapes Pack above the turtle!

This little birdie and the sentiment are included in the Turtle Friends set!

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day July 11th!

Stampin’ Up! A Good Man for Jim!

Hey there! I still haven't been able to do any stamping this week with Vacation Bible School still going on (two more nights!), but I remembered I had this card I'm sharing with you today in my stash. I had taken the pictures minutes before giving the card away!

I needed a masculine birthday card in a hurry one day last week, so I reached for the A Good Man stamp set and my new Give It A Whirl dies for some fun!

I used three of the eight sentiments in this set to stamp in the three "windows" of the card.

The wheel you turn has little scallops on it to make it easier to grab with your finger. The simple contraption is secured in the center with a brad. The dies cut the holes for the brad as you cut out the pieces, so there's no guesswork of where to put the holes!

This sentiment is my fave!

Inside I used a sentiment from Peaceful Moments. I stamped the "HAPPY B-DAY" from Happiest of Birthdays on the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Sweet Strawberry Gatefold Easel Card!

Hey there! Today I have one of the cards we made last Friday night at Donna's house with the Sweet Strawberry Bundle! I recently learned how to make a Gatefold Easel fold from my friend Sharon Armstrong, so I was excited to share this new fold!

I used a circle image from Watercolor Shapes, stamped with Granny Apple Green, and "hello" from Biggest Wish on the belly band to hold the card together.k I added a Bumblebee Trinket as a final touch!

I don't have instructions written for this card yet, but I hope to make more of this fold. When I do, I will!

Inside I used a Sweet Strawberry sentiment, and used one of the strawberry blooms for my easel "stop".

Stampin’ Up! Pierced Blooms on a Brick Wall!

Hey there! Today I have another In Bloom/Pierced Blooms birthday card to share with you!

This time I used all of the New In Colors, with the exception of Evening Evergreen!

I stamped the greeting directly on the Crumb Cake layer before embossing with the Brick & Mortar folder. I added a bit of bling with Polished Pink In Color Jewels, which are off the back order list!

I embossed the inside Crumb Cake layer just for fun, and covered the envelope flap with Pansy Petals Designer Paper.

Stampin’ Up! Tool Focus!

Hey there and welcome to the June edition of the Stampers Dozen Blog Hop! This month we are focusing on all of the awesome tools Stampin' Up! has for us to use in our card making!

My favorite tool(s) are the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and dies! I am addicted to them, especially the Stitched Greenery Die right now!

I combined the Stitched Greenery Die, In Bloom stamps, Pierced Blooms Dies, and Pansy Petals Designer Paper:

I used a color combo of Soft Succulent, Basic White, Pale Papaya, and Evening Evergreen.

I used the dies on the inside of the card too, and even the sentiment is from In Bloom, stamped with Evening Evergreen ink!
