Stampin’ Up! Fancy Favor Bunny Box!

REEEEAAALLLYYYY quick post this morning! I'm off in a few minutes to the Stampin' Up! St Louis Regional with 7 of my downline, the "Yes Mam! Stampers"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Isn't "she" just adorable! LOVE that Vine Street Textured Impressions Folder! Wish it was still available, but that's how it goes, Sale-a-bration items are exclusive to the Sale-a-bration season, so unless they tell us ahead of time it will be in the next catalog (like they did with the Petite Curly Label Punch this year), you can't get it ever again!

That's it for today! I will see you again tomorrow, where I will have new swaps to share fresh from the Regional!

Until tomorrow, hope your day Stampingrox!

Stampin’ Up! Occasions Sneak Peek!

Stampin’ Up! Occasions Sneak Peek!

I'm back today with a card I created for the monthly swap I'm in, using a sneek peek set, Just Thinking, from the Occasions Catalog which starts on January 3rd!

Just like my card from December 13th, I used basically the same layout with  another design from the Tea for Two Designer Paper, but I used Lucky Limeade for the card base instead of Early Espresso, and embossed a strip of So Saffron instead of Pool Party with the Vine Street Textured Impressions Folder from the Sale-a-bration brochure, then sponged with Crumb Cake ink!

I cut a mat of Soft Suede with a Window Frames Framelit, then cut out the Lucky Limeade-stamped Just Thinking image with a smaller-sized Window Frames Framelit. I punched the same image with the 2 1/2" Circle Punch after markering-and-stamping with Soft Suede and Calypso Coral Stampin' Write Markers.

*ETA:Oops! I just realized I used an Early Espresso marker on this sample, but for my swaps I used Soft Suede!

I added a flower clipped from the Vanilla 5/8" Flower Trim that has been sponged with Crumb Cake ink, then glue-dotted to a punched new 7/8" Scallop Circle that has been crumpled and sponged with the same Crumb Cake ink. I added the largest Basic Jewel Pearl (not jumbo) to the center of the flower with an extra Glue Dot, then added a smaller Basic Jewel Pearl to the flourish above the sentiment.

I continued the Vine Street-embossed theme inside, but stamped a phrase from another Occasions Catalog set, Make a Wish!

That's it for today, until next time, have a Stampingrox! day!

Stampin’Up! Tea For Two!

Stampin’Up! Tea For Two!

Attention! We are interrupting our regularly scheduled program of Christmas cards to show you this:

Stinkin', awesome, cute, yes? I was trying to start on January classes and workshops, trying to get a bit ahead of the game, and was just not feeling any inspiration, so I decided to so some internet browsing. When I checked out Pinterest and found this darling little teapot, my imagination just took off! I owe a BIG thank you to Ellen Kemper, the original creator of this teapot, and for her brief but adequate illustration of how it is achieved! This card will be one of our punch projects for January, so I won't give you the directions for the teapot until after my classes are over, but I can tell you that most of the teapot is made with the Blossom Petals Builder Punch, unbelievable!

Unfortunately, Ellen is no longer a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and has not been creating with punches for some time now, but I hope she takes up her passion sometime again in the future! She is a great punch artist!

I will show you the inside of the card before I give you some details:

The designer paper used on the card front and for the teapot is called "Tea for Two" and will be available on January 3rd in the new Occasions Catalog! The embossing folder used on the Pool Party layer is called Vine Street and will be free with a $50 order beginning on January 22nd, the first day of Sale-a-bration!

See that strip of that's sort of  burlap-y looking? That's Natural 7/16" Trim Ribbon, also from the Occasions Catalog! I did a lot of sponging on this card with Crumb Cake ink, but I didn't have to sponge the ribbon, it comes that way-looking all grungy and vintage!

The "love" word is from Lovely Little Labels in the Annual Catalog, punched out with one of the Little Labels Pack punches.

Seems like I can't make a punch project without using the Owl Builder punch, and this one is no exception! Can you tell which parts of the teapot are punched with the Owl?

The inside flower and words are from You Are Loved, which is one of my favorite sets because of the great words in it! I colored the flower and stems with Calypso Coral and Lucky Limeade Stampin' Write markers, stamped off once on my grid sheet, huffed on the ink to re-moisten, then stamped on the lower corner of the layer to achieve the soft, gentle look.

That's all for today! I'm still working with new Occasions and SAB goodies I received in my pre-order last week! That's just ONE of the perks of being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator!

Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!
