Stampin’ Up! Simply Citrus Part 2!

Stampin’ Up! Simply Citrus Part 2!

Hey there! As promised, today I'm sharing the rest of the cards I created with the Simply Citrus All-Inclusive Kit! This kit is one of the best that Stampin' Up! has ever put together, and that's saying a lot because their kits are always so well-planned they make the paper crafting experience fun and the finished projects are amazing!

The card bases are pre-printed with designer paper-looking designs, and the focal image layers are soooo cute! I paired this lemon-y one with the pre-made label, then stamped the greeting from the kit and added the lemon and tiny flowers to it!

Stampin_up_simply_citrus_carolpaynestamps22

The vellum flowers are so adorable. I added them with a glue dot and then finished the center with a Bumblebee In Color Enamel Dot!

Stampin_up_simply_citrus_carolpaynestamps20

A mat layer of Calypso Coral and a Best Year sentiment finish the inside.

Stampin_up_simply_citrus_carolpaynestamps23

These two cards both use the same card base, but I used different elements so they have their own look!

Both cards share the inside stamped with Simply Citrus images and Many Mates sentiments.

Stampin’ Up! Simply Citrus!

Stampin’ Up! Simply Citrus!

Hey there! I played with the Simply Citrus All-Inclusive Card Kit, and WOW, it has everything to make 15 super-cute cards in a snap!

The kit includes card bases, matching envelopes, and pre-printed focal images, like this:

Stampin_up_simply_citrus_carolpaynestamps2-1

I stamped on this kit  label with Calypso Coral, Mango Melody, and Night of Navy. The kit includes a Night of Navy 1" square Stampin' Spot. The Calypso Coral Baker's Twine is included.

Stampin_up_simply_citrus_carolpaynestamps4

I added a Bumblebee In Color Enamel Dot to the center of this tiny vellum kit flower!

Stampin_up_simply_citrus_carolpaynestamps5

I used two Many Mates sentiments inside. I added Mango Melody card stock and  Whisper White layers, but you can stamp directly on the inside of the card if you prefer.

I love this tiny citrus background layer!

Stampin’ Up! Grace’s Garden!

Stampin’ Up! Grace’s Garden!

Hey there! Today I have a simple card to share with Graces Garden. Sometimes it's nice to just stamp and color!

Stampin_up_graces_garden_carolpaynestamps1

After stamping the three different flower groupings with Tuxedo Black ink, I colored with Stampin' Blends. I have the colors listed in the supply list posted below.

Stampin_up_graces_garden_carolpaynestamps2

The garden gate/archway is one complete piece die cut with a Garden Gateway die, then I cut it in half in the middle and folded on the crease to create gates that will open. I adhered to the card front with a thin layer of liquid glue.

Stampin_up_graces_garden_carolpaynestamps6

One of my favorite images in this set is the little kitten! I colored her with a Light Calypso Coral Stampin' Blend, then added the stripes with a Dark Calypso Coral Stampin' Blend. There's even a die to cut her out in the set!

Stampin_up_graces_garden_carolpaynestamps7

Inside I used more Graces Garden images. Even the tiny bird is from the set!

Stampin_up_graces_garden_carolpaynestamps8

A little more inspiration!  The left swap was created by Jenna Roby, and right swap by Laura Milligan.

Stampin’ Up! Flower Patch in Lost Lagoon and Calypso Coral!

Stampin’ Up! Flower Patch in Lost Lagoon and Calypso Coral!

Hey there! It's Monday! I'm working on lots of fun stuff for convention and my July events, so I will have lots to share in the coming weeks. Be sure to stop by often!

Today I have another Flower Patch card. We made this at a couple of my hostess' events last month. I really love Lost Lagoon with Calypso Coral:

Stampin_up_flower_patch_1 - Copy

Alot of the same elements as my post HERE, with the substitution of the Modern Label punch for the greeting and adding the yummy new Lost Lagoon 3/8" Stitched Satin ribbon!

Stampin_up_flower_patch_3 - Copy
Inside is pretty identical to the inside of Saturday's card, but when you get it right, you get it right, yes?

That's all for now. I have TONS to get ready for my events this month AND swaps to make for the Stampin' Up! 2014 Convention, Inspire, Create, Share, which starts on Thursday next week! eek! I can't wait!

Here's the supplies for today's card. Be sure to check out the Weekly Deals listed below the supply list. You can order it all in my Online Store HERE.

Stampin’Up! Tea For Two!

Stampin’Up! Tea For Two!

Attention! We are interrupting our regularly scheduled program of Christmas cards to show you this:
Tea 1
©Stampin'Up!™1990-2012

Stinkin', awesome, cute, yes? I was trying to start on January classes and workshops, trying to get a bit ahead of the game, and was just not feeling any inspiration, so I decided to so some internet browsing. When I checked out Pinterest and found this darling little teapot, my imagination just took off! I owe a BIG thank you to Ellen Kemper, the original creator of this teapot, and for her brief but adequate illustration of how it is achieved! This card will be one of our punch projects for January, so I won't give you the directions for the teapot until after my classes are over, but I can tell you that most of the teapot is made with the Blossom Petals Builder Punch, unbelievable!

Unfortunately, Ellen is no longer a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and has not been creating with punches for some time now, but I hope she takes up her passion sometime again in the future! She is a great punch artist!

I will show you the inside of the card before I give you some details:

Tea 2
©Stampin'Up!™1990-2012

The designer paper used on the card front and for the teapot is called "Tea for Two" and will be available on January 3rd in the new Occasions Catalog! The embossing folder used on the Pool Party layer is called Vine Street and will be free with a $50 order beginning on January 22nd, the first day of Sale-a-bration!

See that strip of that's sort of  burlap-y looking? That's Natural 7/16" Trim Ribbon, also from the Occasions Catalog! I did a lot of sponging on this card with Crumb Cake ink, but I didn't have to sponge the ribbon, it comes that way-looking all grungy and vintage!

The "love" word is from Lovely Little Labels in the Annual Catalog, punched out with one of the Little Labels Pack punches.

Seems like I can't make a punch project without using the Owl Builder punch, and this one is no exception! Can you tell which parts of the teapot are punched with the Owl?

The inside flower and words are from You Are Loved, which is one of my favorite sets because of the great words in it! I colored the flower and stems with Calypso Coral and Lucky Limeade Stampin' Write markers, stamped off once on my grid sheet, huffed on the ink to re-moisten, then stamped on the lower corner of the layer to achieve the soft, gentle look.

That's all for today! I'm still working with new Occasions and SAB goodies I received in my pre-order last week! That's just ONE of the perks of being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator!

Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!
