Happy Saturday to you! Sorry for the delay to day in getting my post up, I just let myself me a little lazy this morning!
Some of you are probably wondering about how my eye surgery went. It went well. No pain, just a little "poke" feeling. A little headache for awhile, but not migraine level. Eye a little "smeary", with some particles floating around, but most of it is gone already this morning. It took longer for the prep than the surgery itself!
They are pretty sure it was completely successful. My left eye pressure was 17 before the procedure, 14 fifteen minutes after. Just have some anti-inflammatory drops to put in it 3 times a day.
Having the right eye done next Friday. Checking on the status of the "Vitreal Membrane Detachment" (which was the eye event that started all of this in the first place) on March 18th. Hopefully if I don't get a tear in my retina by then I will be out of the woods.
We just never know what life is going to throw at us, do we? I'm taking the VMD as a blessing in disguise as they wouldn't have caught the "Narrow Angle Glaucoma" this early without it!
As promised, here's the final sample for the "Best of Love" class:

Who doesn't want a giant olive for their birthday??!!!
I used one of the Ovals Framelits Dies to make the olive card shape, then punched the pimento opening with the Extra Large Oval Punch. The greeting is from Henry Says, since it was still out on my stamping desk. It was the right size to fit in the Ticket Duo Punch!

I cut a smaller Real Red Oval Framelit for the pimento layer on the inside (the Oval Framelits contain 7 sizes of ovals). I stamped the "olive you!" in Jet Black StazOn twice, on Whisper White and on Real Red, then cut out the Real Red one to pape-piece over the white layer. Why did I make my olive red on the inside, and not Lucky Limeade like the card base? I really have no idea, except it just seemed to me to make a nicer contrast with all the green!
That's it for today! I'm still working on taxes (they have taken a back seat this week with all of this eye stuff going on). I was much more inclined to partake of "stamping therapy" than taxes!
Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!
