Stampin’ Up! Cruise Swaps Part 1!

Stampin’ Up! Cruise Swaps Part 1!

Hey there! I've been steadily working on my preparations for my New Catalog Open House this coming weekend, so I'm going to share a few more of my Cruise swaps while we are waiting for the new Catalog to start:

By the Tide with Apothecary Accents framelits to create the "windows", a Starburst framelit to frame the anchor medallion, and the Chevron Textured Impressions Folder for texture. Night of Navy, Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White, and Crumb Cake enhance the nautical feel, as does the Linen Thread which is reminiscent of fishing nets. Susan Rodgers created this card.

By the Tide was used for this card also, but the creator used the Circle framelits to make the track for the "spinner" to follow for a Spinner Card by Nancy Juliano.

Retiring Epic Day This & That Desginer Paper was combined with Crumb Cake Envelopes, Epic Day Washi Tape, Subtles Buttons, and White Bakers Twine to create this fun mini-album!

A nautical theme was followed for this project, only this time The Open Sea stamp set was used.

Completely open reveals space to journal or add a picture with inner pockets for more memory-keeping. A European demo named "Katia" made this one!

That's all for now. I'm still fighting this allergy-driven sinus infection, so I must head to bed.

Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!

Stampin’Up! Bat Spinner Card!

Stampin’Up! Bat Spinner Card!

Good morning! Today is my birthday, and I'm sharing it with my Holiday Catalog Open House stampers, so it should be a fun day!

Today's swap is from a "cards that move" swap I participated in. This is a 'spinner card" because the bat is mounted on dimensionals and a penny that "spins" on the Word Window-punched track when you tip the card from side to side!

Bat spinner 1

I love the way the creator of this card used a punched circle to make the half-moon mask, then used a Color Spritzer to spritz Basic Black reinker around it. The "Happy Halloween" greeting is from the That's the Ticket stamp set, punched with the Ticket Duo punch.

Bat spinner 2

The bat is a combination of the Owl Builder Punch (I just LOVE this punch!) and the  a circle punch. The eyes and mouth are hand-drawn with the White Gel Pen, and all of the edges are sponged with Whisper White Craft ink!

That's all for now! Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!
