Stampin’ Up! Flowering Rain Boots Simple Card!

Hey there! I thought it would be a good idea to show you another card made with the same simple layout as yesterday but with a couple of different stamp sets! Note: I have posted the measurements at the bottom of this post!

Today I'm using the Flowering Rain Boots stamp set from the January/June Mini Catalog and Sunny Sentiments from the Annual Catalog!

I'm using Pear Pizzazz and Polished Stone for my colors. I love the exquisite detail of the stamped tulips and the leaves!

I accented the greeting from Sunny Sentiments, as well as the tulips with a few Pearl Basic Jewels.

Inside I used a Flowering Rain Boots sentiment.

The dimensions for this card (and the one I shared yesterday):

Basic White Thick card base: 4 1/4" x 11", scored and folded at 5 1/2"

Basic White focal image layer (front and inside): 3 1/2" x 4 3/4" -need two

Pear Pizzazz focal image mat layer (front and inside): 3 5/8" x 4 7/8" – need two

Stampin’ Up! Biggest Wish Center Easel-fold!

Hey there! Today's card is another birthday card I created for another son who had a birthday in November. I used the same center easel-fold I used previously, but I used an Early Espresso/Very Vanilla color combo and the Biggest Wish photopolymer stamp set.

I used my Stamparatus to stamp the sentiments from Biggest Wish with Early Espresso ink several times (I think at least 4 times for each word). I stamped it on the Cork Specialty paper that is retiring from the Holiday Mini Catalog but has not yet sold out (at least it hadn't when I checked before writing this blog post). I added a Bumblebee Trinket with a Mini Glue Dot for an added special touch.

I stamped the largest circle image from Watercolor Shapes with Crumb Cake ink on the Very Vanilla inside layer before stamping a sentiment from Sunny Sentiments. I added a 1/2" wide strip of Early Espresso card stock with a row of Stampin' Dimensionals to create the "easel stop".

Stampin’ Up! Cards That Move!

Hey there! It's time again for the Stampers Dozen Blog Hop! Our theme for August is "Cards That Move"!

I decided to re-visit a card fold that I just recently learned, the Pop-Up! Flip, only this time I am featuring the Sale-a-bration Freebie, Delicate Dahlias, and the In Color, Fresh Freesia!

I stamped the Fresh Freesia layer with the open bloom and a tiny solids leaf with Fresh Freesia ink, cut the opening with a Layering Circle die, then embossed the layer with the Macrame 3D embossing folder. I stamped Basic White with both of the dahlia stamps, cut with the same Layering Circle die, then stamped around the edges with the solid leaf image and Soft Succulent ink.

I tied a knot of Soft Succulent 3/8" Open Weave Ribbon and added a few Pastel Pearls for adornment.

I stamped the inside with the same colors, and added a sentiment from Sunny Sentiments.

Stampin’ Up! Daisy Garden A Happy Hello!

Hey there! Today I have a fun-fold card to share with you called Pop & Twist! It's been around for awhile, but I recently found an easier way to make it, so I decided to give it a try. I used the Daisy Garden background stamp with Sunny Sentiments.

I stamped the daisies with Tuxedo Black Memento ink so I could color them with Stampin' Blends. After I colored the daisies and the greenery, I colored around all of it with my Light Balmy Blue Stampin' Blends marker. I added a bit of shimmer to the daisy centers with my Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush.

I cut out the greeting from Sunny Sentiments with a Tasteful Labels die, then backed it with two more Tasteful Labels die-cuts. I finished it off by adding a Bumblebee Trinket.

As much as I love the card front, the star of the show is really the inside!

I lined the inside of the card with a Balmy Blue print from the You're A Peach Designer Paper, and used another Sunny Sentiment. I sent this card to a special friend who is just like a sister.

I currently do not have a tutorial for this card, but here's a great one I found on YouTube!
