Seize the Day and Sitting Pretty!

Hey there! Today's cards were created with the Seize the Day set and the Sitting Pretty Bundle!

I originally had pics of two cards from the Alaska swap boards with this set, but they were almost identical in colors and layout (Early Espresso, Very Vanilla, Copper Foil, and Wood Textures Designer Series Paper). One of them was blurry (I was having troubles with my camera settings on the cruise) so I decided to share the crisp one with you. These deer coordinate with a set that will be in the Holiday Catalog, Dashing Deer!

The Sitting Pretty Bundle was a front-runner favorite during the pre-order of the Annual Catalog. Everyone loves the bulldog! The Pretty Park Framelits Dies not only cut out the doggie, it includes 10 dies to cut out the heart and the pavement used on this card, as well as a park bench a birdie, a squirrel, and a potted plant!

The creator of this treat holder stamped the doggie in Gorgeous Grape, Bermuda Bay, Granny Apple Green, Mango Melody, and Poppy Parade to coordinate with the background squares of designer paper, giving it an Andy Warhol look!

Puzzles & Pigs!

Hey there! The variety of the swaps that were created for the Alaska Incentive Trip was incredible! Of course, the entire new Annual Catalog to choose from, it was very easy to find inspiration!

Today's samples were created with Love You to Pieces and This Little Piggy!

This sample was created with the Love You to Pieces bundle, a Pearlized Doily, Balmy Blue, and Pool Party:

With the Love You To Pieces Bundle you can create your own personalized PUZZLE! The Puzzle Pieces Thinlets Dies easily cut a full 12-piece puzzle that interlocks and can be re-assembled. I LOVE this puzzle created with Animal Expedition Designer Series Paper!

Oh, the unreliability of photography! This sample looks like it is Balmy Blue and Whisper White, but after researching the accessories I've determined it is actually Bermuda Bay! The Bermuda Bay 1/4" Mini Striped Ribbon gave me the clue I needed!

This Little Piggy was paired with Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper and a sentiment from Stitched All Around for this fun card! Petal Pink is the perfect "piggy" color, and a Share What You Love Artisan Pearl and Petal Pink Rhinestone Gem lends some bling!

Sunday Swap Day with Rooted in Nature!

Hey there! Today is our family's August Birthdays celebration! There are six of us with August birthdays, so we have a lot to celebrate!

For Sunday Swap Day I'm sharing a bunch of Rooted in Nature swaps from the Alaska Cruise swap boards.

This one incorporates the Nature's Poem Designer Series Paper, Layering Ovals Framelits, Leaves Trinkets, and Shaded Spruce Metallic Ribbon. A Stitched Labels Framelit was used to cut out the greeting:

This beauty combined Nature's Poem Designer Paper with the Painted Harvest set. The background was created with stamps from Touches of Texture and Embossing Paste!

The "reflection" technique was used to create this one!

The dies in the Nature's Roots Framelits easily cut out these trees!

Saturday Stamping Stitched All Around!

Hey there! I had a lovely birthday day yesterday. I received TONS of birthday wishes from friends and family, including phone calls from my brother & sister. We live about 3 hours apart, so keeping up with weekly phone chats is a must!

I had day #1 of my Happy Birthday Card Class yesterday too, so fun!

Day #2 of class is today. I'm looking forward to stamping with some girls I haven't seen in awhile! yay!

Combined with Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper creates a very feminine look:

Alaska Incentive Trip Swaps with One For All and Petal Palette!

Hey there! The only requirement of the Alaska Incentive Trip swaps was that all of the products used must be current (not retired). This resulted in a wide variety of stamps, colors, embellishments, fun folds, and techniques!

The creator of this card used an ombre' technique to ink the One for All sentiment, then used a Pattern Party Decorative Mask with Shimmery White Embossing Paste to create the background:

I love the simplicity of this card, however, you will need to order the Stitched Seasons Framelits Dies BEFORE August 31st if you love the die-cut bow. These framelits are only available to order in August!

Lots of stitchin' going on with this Petal Palette card, but it's easy to do with the Stitched Shapes and Stitched Labels dies!

This kind of blurry (sometimes I touched the wrong setting on my camera while onboard the ship!) swap was created with the Love What You Do set, Petals & More Thinlets, and the new Thank You Thinlets die!

This swap was created with the Country Livin' set and Wood Textures 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper. I just love those broken-in cowboy boots, don't you? The leafy spray was cut with a Petals & More Thinlets die.
