With all the preparations needed I haven't even done my pre-order yet, can you believe it? I HAVE placed a big order for new catalogs, so don't worry, they will soon be on their way! My New Catalog Premiere Open House will be May 30th & 31st!

Here's a quick card I haven't shown you yet, using Horse Frontier, another Retiring Stamp Set which unfortunately has already sold out:

And the inside:

I really loved pairing the Harwood Background with the Soho Subway Designer Paper for this one!

Well, I've got to get a move on. Troy & I leave for the airport in just a little while! I hope to post my Sunday swap day before we get on the boat tomorrow, and hopefully schedule a few more posts for you before I leave, we'll see!

The Retiring Stamps and Accessories Lists are still available. Go to my Online Store HERE to shop the Retiring Lists, updated Clearance Rack (lots of great Holiday Catalog items just added this week!), Weekly Deals, and more!

Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!

Stampin’ Up! Timeless Talk!

Stampin’ Up! Timeless Talk!

Hey there! We've just had an absolutely wonderful, balmy day! Temps were up in the 50's, which means we were without coats for most of the day! But now the wind is howling around the house at about 40 mph, ushering in a new round of bone-chilling temps, and possibly some snow! Brrrrr! Winter is still here!

I wanted to share with you this card I created earlier this week for Theresa's party. This is the second of the two masculine cards we made, this time using the fun-fold I've been playing with so much and an annual catalog set I hadn't used much yet, Timeless Talk!

Stampin_up_timeless_talk_1

Of course we had to make a custom envelope with the Envelope Punch Board, and even though some of Theresa's guests were not very craft-savvy, everyone had great success!

Stampin_up_timeless_talk_2

We used an Early Espresso card base, Soho Subway Designer Paper, Early Espresso and a Deco Label Framelit, Island Indigo and Circle Collection Framelit Die, and Very Vanilla and a  2 1/2" Circle Punch. We stamped the antique bicycle with Early Espresso ink the "happy birthday" song with Island Indigo on a Very Vanilla scrap, then stamped the star from the Perfect Pennants set with Island Indigo ink in the center of the wheel. After punching with the 2 1/2" Circle Punch and adhering to the Island Indigo circle, we added an Island Indigo Candy Dot from the Regals Candy Dot pack.

Stampin_up_timeless_talk_3

On the back Very Vanilla panel we stamped "Make a Wish" from Perfect Pennants with Early Espresso ink, and added Island Indigo stars from the same set.

That's all for now. Sale-a-bration starts on Tuesday, which means all orders of $50 increments before tax and shipping qualify to choose an item FREE from the Sale-a-bration brochure! Check back here on Tuesday to view the SAB brochure when it goes live or click HERE to go direct to my Online Store where you will be able to place your order and choose your freebies!

Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!

Stampin’ Up! Soho Subway!

Stampin’ Up! Soho Subway!

Hey there! I had a jam-packed day yesterday! I took care of both Liam and Jaxon, and held my first Christmas Trimmings class all at the same time! The boys were good, for toddlers they play together very well and love to be with each other!

Here they are watching "Curious George" on Netflix:

Jaxon & liam 11-18-13

I had to sneak up on them to take this because everytime Liam hears my camera turn on he starts laughing and cheesing!

Liam & jaxon 11-18-13

Needless to say I headed to bed early last night!

Today I want to share a card I received from my dear friend Becky:

Stampin’ Up! Hello, Lovely!

Stampin’ Up! Hello, Lovely!

Good morning and happy Tuesday to you! It's another Liam day, so this will have to be quick!

Today's card is by Mary Haugen. Mary added Soho Subway Designer Paper to Crumb Cake cardstock upon which she created her own border by stamping a single stamp from the Hello, Lovely stamp set multiple times along the edge with Crumb Cake ink!

Mary haugen hello lovely

The "you MAKE ME HAPPY" greeting is from Hello, Lovely, as is the Summer Starfruit-stamped arrow. The Very Vanilla scallops were cut with the Adorning Accents Edgelits. A piece of Linen Thread was added for a bit more tactile texture!

Well, I'm off to Liam's, then he & I are headed to Jessica's to spend the day with Jaxon while she has photo sessions. Busy, busy, busy.I'm so glad Liam and Jaxon get to spend some "cousin time" together today!

Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!

Stampin’ Up! Label Love/Alphabet Press!

Stampin’ Up! Label Love/Alphabet Press!

Just a quick post. Alisa, Cody, and baby Oakley are coming home from the hospital today and I am packing to go spend the next week with them! yay!

Until I get a chance to show you more Oakley pics, here's a card for you:

Label love 1

This is one of my convention swaps. (Even though I didn't get to go, I am still participating in a couple of organized swaps. I signed up for them a long time ago, before it became apparent that Oakley was waiting to come because wanted his Grammie to stay home with him instead!)

Label love 2

Stamps: Label Love, Make a Wish, Off the Grid

Paper: Early Espresso, Crisp Cantaloupe, Very Vanilla, Soho Subway Designer Paper

Ink: Crisp Cantaloupe, Early Espresso, Sahara Sand

Accessories: Artisan Label Punch, Brayer, Big Shot, Alphabet Press Textured Impressions Folder, 1 1/4" Burlap Ribbon (in the upcoming Holiday Catalog), Neutrals Candy Dots

Stampingrox Technique Tip: I brayered the negative (flat) side of the Alphabet Press folder with Crisp Cantaloupe ink before inserting the Crisp Cantaloupe paper and cranking through the Big Shot to achieve the tone-on-tone darker look for the letters! Fun! You could also sponge the ink or rub the inkpad directly on the folder if you do not yet own a brayer.

Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!

Stampin’Up! Countdown to the NEW Catalog Day #2!

Stampin’Up! Countdown to the NEW Catalog Day #2!

Good Morning! Now that I think about it a "countdown" starts at a higher number and counts DOWN to zero, and I'm counting up! Oh well, we all know that when we get to Friday, May 31st, we can order from the new catalog, and that's all that really matters, doesn't it?

Today's sample is a perfect blend of current and new! Lookie:

Dress up soho

The dress is cut from NEW Soho Subway Designer Paper, and the Blushing Bride (a returning In-Color that is now a CORE Subtles color!) strip behind the dress has been embossed with NEW Modern Mosaic Textured Impressions Folder.

I LOVE how the creator (wish it was me but, alas, is not!) used the Designer Frames Folder and the Extra Large Oval punch with Silver Glimmer Paper to create the "mirror"!

Beautiful finishing touches: the "Pearl" necklace and the Blushing Bride flower punched with one of the Itty Bitty Shapes Punches!

That's all for today! I've a LOOOOONG list of "to do's" to get done today before my stamp camp in West Frankfort at the GrandOArt Studio!

Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!
