Stampin’ Up! Retiring Favorites!

Hey there! I've decided to start my "best of retiring" posts early this year. The Retiring List has been published, so rather than waiting till the end of May to share some of my favs, I've decided to share early so you have time to order before things get sold out!

One of Their Kind Swaps!

Hey there! Today's samples were all stand-alone swaps. Each one was the only one on the cruise created with that set!

First a beautifully colored (probably with Stampin' Blends!) card using the Postcard Pals set!

Next, a fun kid's card with the Treehouse Adventure set. I LOVE this color combo of Pool Party, Granny Apple Green, and Gorgeous Grape!

There may have been more cards created with the beautiful Serene Garden bundle, but I either missed them or they didn't come out clear! A Delicate Lace Edgelit was used to cut the fancy border along the bottom, and the sentiment is from Beautiful Bouquet

Finally, a simple card combining the Thank You Thinlet die with the Striped Scallops Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and the Swirly Frames stamp set!

Stampin’ Up! Serene Garden for Christmas!

Hey there! We had a rough storm roll through last night. We didn't have damage, but our power was out for over 12 hours. It was an awfully quiet night, and warm!

Today I have a Christmas card with the Serene Garden bird. Ever since I found this bundle in the new catalog I thought the bird would be perfect for a Christmas dove!

The Pearlized Doilies are perfect to highlight the dove:

I found "tis the season" in the new Itty Bitty Greetings. I added a Red Rhinestone to each side.

After punching a slot for the ribbon with one end of the Classic Label Punch I tied the ribbon in a simple knot.

MERRY & BRIGHT, stamped in Shaded Spruce, is from the carried-over Hearts Come Home.

The inside sentiment is also from Hearts Come Home.

Stampin’ Up! Serene Garden #2!

Hey there! Today I have another creation with the Serene Garden Bundle. This time I used the embossing plate from the Garden Scene Framelits to emboss the Whisper White Thick card base and colored the leaves, flowers, and butterfly with a Blender Pen and ink from Powder Pink and Soft Seafoam ink pads.

The Garden Scene Framelits cut out the bird, flowers, and the butterfly Serene Garden images, and includes the embossing plate I used to emboss two opposite corners. I used the new Big Shot Embossing Mats to emboss with the plate. "Best Wishes from all of us" is from Itty Bitty Greetings.

Inside I used a sentiment from Beautiful Bouquet, a carry-over set from the last catalog.

Stampin’ Up! Serene Garden Corner Fold!

Hey there! My day yesterday did not go at all the way I planned or expected, but isn't that the way life often goes? I did manage right before bed time to make this card with the new Serene Garden Bundle!

I used a corner-fold technique, which is new to me, but has been around for awhile.

After stamping the lovely bird with Tranquil Tide on Whisper White, I cut it out with a Garden Scene Framelit. Mounted on a Pearlized Doily makes it look so elegant!

I stamped this little leaf image on the spine of the card. It looks just perfect there! Serene Garden contains no words, so I used a phrase from Itty Bitty Greetings, punched with the Classic Label.

I used a Mint Macaron print from Tranquil Textures Designer Series Paper at the bottom and tied a Whisper White 5/8" Dotted Tulle bow. I punched the fold of the card with the Detailed Trio Punch to make the opening for the tulle.

Inside I used another Itty Bitty Greeting phrase.

Stampin’ Up! Serene Garden Corner Fold!
