Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day!

Hey there! It's Sunday, so time for some swaps! yay!

I have just a few unshared Valentines, the first by Carol Slack using Falling Petals folder, Sweet & Sassy Framelits, Sealed with Love stamps, and Sending Love Designer Paper!

Carol used the Double-Dutch fold, I forget about this one sometimes!

Next, Jenna Raby used the Lift Me Up set with Sending Love Designer, Sweet & Sassy Framelits, and Up & Away Thinlets for her interlocking hearts creation:

The final Valentine I sharing this year is by Lorraine Duran with the Falling Petals Folder, Sweet Heart Punch, and Sending Love Designer Paper:

I also have a few swaps using Sale-a-bration sets!

First, Rene Watson created a "Z-fold" with Hey Chick and the Hexagon Dynamic folder:

Wendy Lee also used Hey Chick, adding some small-but-effective details to make her card a true WOW!

Beautiful watercoloring with an AquaPainter is just the beginning!

Tone-on-tone monochromatic stamping and speckling with Gorgeous Grunge help make the details pop.

Wendy used the Fringe Scissors and a thin strip of Red Glimmer Paper for edge-interest, as well as used just a tiny bit of 5/8" Burlap Ribbon, Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate, and Gold Metallic Thread to highlight the greeting!

The final swap today arrived with no creator name, but is so pleasing, it's a shame. They combined So Very Much Sale-a-bration with Beautiful You to make a stylish statement with Whisper White, Melon Mambo, and Basic Black. The tiny flower was punched with the Tree Builder Punch!

Stampin’ Up! Sealed with Love Quilt!

Hey there! I decided to put a few of the 27 images from Sealed with Love together to make a "quilt" card!

I started with a Crumb Cake base, then added a Happy Heart-embossed Blushing Bride layer. I created the "quilt" look by stamping the images with Blushing Bride on Whisper White, then cutting with the smallest square from the Stitched Shapes Framelits, which are back in stock now! yay!

I layered each "quilt square" on a Crumb cake layer measuring 2 3/4" x 4". Deciding the size of this layer was the hardest part of this card, so it will be easy for you since you have the measurement now!

After I tied the 1/8" Gold Ribbon bow I added a glue dot underneath to keep it in place.

Simply stamped inside with more Sealed with Love.

Stampin’ Up! Sealed with Love Mambo Kiss!

Hey there! Today's card was created with my favorite stamp from Sealed with Love, the kiss-y lips!

Why are the kissing lips my favorite? My mother passed away a few days before my 11th birthday, after a year's illness fighting lung and brain cancer. A smoker since her early teens, she was in ill-health for many years. Even though my mom always felt poorly, she was never without her bright RED lipstick. It was her trademark thing, and I'm kind of addicted to lipstick too, I guess in her honor.

Hence the reason I've been using these cute little lips on almost all of my projects this Valentine season. I had to have the "Sealed with Love" set, if only to have the lips!

Today's card is Melon Mambo and Whisper White. I cut the hearts with the Sweet & Sassy Framelits, mounting them on a Delicate White Doily.

I also added a few loops of Gold Metallic Thread between the layers for some shine.

If I don't create a more masculine Valentine before the day, this one will probably be the one I give my hubby!

Hey there! Continuing my Valentine series today! For this card using Sealed with Love (I keep wanting to call it "Sealed with a KISS!) I kept everything black and white, except for the Real Red lips to make them pop even more! Black and white with a splash of red is just so classic!

An easy layout you can use over and over again. I love how this Love Notes Framelit cuts the paper so the heart pops out!

A "string of pearls" is always classic!

Finished well inside too!

Rhonda Bassler also used the Sending Love Suite for her creation. She created the tag to adhere to the front with Sending Love Designer Paper punched with the Scallop Tag Topper Punch:

The Love Notes Framelits include the dies to cut and score this tiny envelope, as well as the envelope liner and the hearts to pop out!

Stampin’ Up! Sweet & Sassy Valentine!

Hey there! Right now Stampin' Up! has a TON of coordinating heart-themed products in both the Annual and Occasions Catalog. I combined some from each for my card today.

I used the Love Notes Framelits, bundled with the Sealed with Love set to save 10%, to cut the edge of the card front. I embossed with the Happy Heart Textured Impressions Folder and cut the focal image heart layers with Sweet & Sassy Framelits.

When the card is closed you can see the Sending Love Designer Paper peeking through from the inside!

Stampin' Up! does such a great job of coordinating the products for us! I couldn't resist adding a bit of rhinestone bling!

Inside I added a couple of sentiments from the Annual Catalog set, Ready to Pop!
