Stampin’ Up! Love Sparkles Wedding!

Hey there! I'm pretty much recovered from my bout with the flu. A little extra tired and my appetite has not yet fully returned (which could be a goo thing if it waits a few days, lol!) Today's card is actually two versions of the same one using the Love Sparkles stamp set:

Pretty straightforward with Blushing Bride, Whisper White, Sweet & Sassy Framelits, Softly Falling Textured Impressions Folder, and Blushing Bride Sequin Trim. I stamped all of the hearts and words before embossing with the Softy Falling folder.

I adhered the string of sequins, as well as the individual ones I pulled from the end of the string, with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

For the inside phrase I chose one from Bunch of Blossoms, "today is the perfect day to be happy"!

Stampin’ Up! Sealed with Love Mambo Kiss!

Hey there! Today's card was created with my favorite stamp from Sealed with Love, the kiss-y lips!

Why are the kissing lips my favorite? My mother passed away a few days before my 11th birthday, after a year's illness fighting lung and brain cancer. A smoker since her early teens, she was in ill-health for many years. Even though my mom always felt poorly, she was never without her bright RED lipstick. It was her trademark thing, and I'm kind of addicted to lipstick too, I guess in her honor.

Hence the reason I've been using these cute little lips on almost all of my projects this Valentine season. I had to have the "Sealed with Love" set, if only to have the lips!

Today's card is Melon Mambo and Whisper White. I cut the hearts with the Sweet & Sassy Framelits, mounting them on a Delicate White Doily.

I also added a few loops of Gold Metallic Thread between the layers for some shine.

If I don't create a more masculine Valentine before the day, this one will probably be the one I give my hubby!

Stampin’ Up! Sweet & Sassy Valentine!

Hey there! Right now Stampin' Up! has a TON of coordinating heart-themed products in both the Annual and Occasions Catalog. I combined some from each for my card today.

I used the Love Notes Framelits, bundled with the Sealed with Love set to save 10%, to cut the edge of the card front. I embossed with the Happy Heart Textured Impressions Folder and cut the focal image heart layers with Sweet & Sassy Framelits.

When the card is closed you can see the Sending Love Designer Paper peeking through from the inside!

Stampin' Up! does such a great job of coordinating the products for us! I couldn't resist adding a bit of rhinestone bling!

Inside I added a couple of sentiments from the Annual Catalog set, Ready to Pop!
