Stampin’ Up! Snowflake Wishes Wreath!

Hey there! Today I have a pretty snowflake card I CASE'd from myself! I CASE'd my Stampers Dozen Blog Hop card HERE to turn it into a Christmas card!

I used the Pearlescent Specialty paper from the Annual Catalog to stamp the snowflakes from the Snowflake Wishes stamp set with stamped-off-once Misty Moonlight ink. After stamping I then embossed with the Brick & Mortar 3D embossing folder. The Pearlescent paper is so much more shimmery in real life, this picture simply doesn't do it justice!

I cut the wreath with three different layers: vellum on the bottom, Silver Foil Specialty in the middle, and Misty Moonlight on the top. I adhered each with tiny dots of liquid glue.I tied a bit of 1 1/2" Metallic Mesh Ribbon, also found in the Annual Catalog, into a perky bow and added it with a glue dot.

I heat embossed the greeting from For Unto Us onto Misty Moonlight card stock, then double-punched with the Label Me Lovely Punch to get the smaller label. I also accented the card front with a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

Here's how I double-punched the greeting label. I only partially punched the embossed greeting once as shown here:

Then I attached a post-it-note to the punched piece to re-insert into the punch to punch the other side.

I used a sentiment from Snowflake Wishes on the inside and added a layer of Silver Foil behind it.

Here's a paper-saving tip! Cut the Silver Foil wreath layer out of the center of the inside foil layer before adhering to the inside of the card. After you add the stamped Very Vanilla layer (which coordinates with the creaminess of the Pearlescent Specialty paper better than Basic White) over it no one will ever know!

Stampin’ Up! Sparkle of the Season Two-Four-Six-Eight Box!

Hey there! I'm back again today with a companion piece to my Sparkle of the Season card from yesterday, a Thanksgiving two-four-six-eight box!

I learned how to make these boxes years ago (I just celebrated my 19th anniversary as a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator on November 11th) They are super simple to make!

Dimensions are 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored at 2", 4", and 6" along the 8 1/2" side, then scored at 2" across the long end.

After scoring, then cut and fold:

Pinch the top:

Then flatten to add the closure you prefer.

For this box I used a hand-held punch to make a notch in the folds to wrap the Linen Thread around.

I used three 16-inch lengths of Linen Thread, tied in a knot in the center to wrap around the box tightly and to tie in a loopy bow.

I created the mini-wreath with stamped & cut images from Sparkle of the Season Bundle in Mossy Meadow and Cajun Craze on Cinnamon Cider, along with die-cut Gold Metallic Specialty Paper. I cut a small circle with a Layering Circle Die to adhere the wreath "branches".

I used the same Tasteful Labels die from yesterday's card, but I made the label smaller by cutting it twice with the same die. I stamped the sentiment, cut once with the banner label die. then lined up the stitching again on the longer end and held it all in place with a Post-It-Note while I cranked it through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine a second time.

Voila!

I added a few Gilded Gems for some sparkle.

These boxes are perfect Thanksgiving table favors. They will hold and small handful of candy corn or of course chocolate!

Stampin’ Up! Grateful Thanksgiving!

Hey there! It's time for the November Stampers Dozen Blog Hop!

Our November theme is Grateful Thanksgiving! I can't wait to see what everyone creates!

For my project I decided to create a Thanksgiving wreath card with the Sparkle of the Season Bundle!

I started with a Soft Suede card base, then stamped a Crumb Cake layer with Gorgeous Leaves and Crumb Cake ink. I then embossed the layer with the Brick & Mortar 3D embossing folder.

Here's the layer before embossing:

I cut the wreath layers from Mossy Meadow, Cinnamon Cider, and Rose Gold Metallic Specialty Paper.

I love the subtle sparkle of the Rose Gold Metallic paper!

I accented the card with a few Gilded Gems and stamped a Sparkle of the Season sentiment with Cajun Craze ink before cutting with a Tasteful Labels die.

Inside I stamped the same leaves on the Crumb Cake sentiment layer, then stamped another Sparkle of the Season sentiment with Cajun Craze ink.

Stampin’ Up! Jar of Flowers Calendar Card!

Hey there! Today I have another easel calendar to share with you. This one took a little bit longer to put together than the last one I shared with you, but it was totally worth the effort! I used the Jar of Flowers stamp set and Pierced Blooms dies:

I added a post-it-note pad to this one as the easel stopper.

I used Pool Party, Basic White, Pale Papaya, and Old Olive for the blooms and leaves cut with the Pierced Blooms dies. I added Rhinestones for bling and a bow tied with Black & White 1/4" Gingham Ribbon.

I die-cut the Pale Papaya inside layer with the Stitched Greenery Die for some texture and also because it is just plain ol' pretty!

Stampin’ Up! Beauty of the Earth Merriest Frames!

Hey there! Yesterday my hubby and I received word of the safe arrival of our 13th grandchild, and the first with the Payne last name! Scarlett Adaline was born yesterday evening a little before 6:30, weighing 8 lbs, 13 1/2 ounces! Troy and Grace are very tired but overjoyed! Grace had to have a c-section, so it will be a few extra days before they come home and we get to meet her in person. I can hardly wait!

Today I have a card to share with you that I created with the Merriest Frames Hybrid Embossing Folder & Dies, and Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper. I added a calendar to the center of the die-cut frame because it fit the size perfectly!

I used an easel-fold, scoring the 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" Mossy Meadow base at 2 1/8" and 4 1/4". I embossed both of the Crumb Cake layers with the Merriest Frames Hybrid Embossing Folder and added a few Gilded Gems for some sparkle.

I used a sentiment from the Beauty of Friendship stamp set, stamped in Mossy Meadow and cut with a Scalloped Contours die, then matted with a Mossy Meadow layer cut with another Scalloped Contours die.
