Stampin’Up! Chalk Talk Swap!

Good morning and Happy Saturday! Today is the second day of my SWOW Class and Christmas Card Class! Yay!

Today I have a swap to share with you made with the Chalk Talk Bundle, which contains both the Chalk Talk stamp set and the Chalk Talk Framelits to cut them out. Each is sold separately, of course, but when you purchase them as a bundle you save 15%!

Chalk talk jackie ordway p

The colors in this swap are Coastal Cabana (I know it photographed the retired Bashful Blue, but it IS Coastal Cabana!) Basic Black, and Very Vanilla. Modern Medley Designer Paper is the vertical strip on the side, with a tiny bit of a Basic Black Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border peeking out. The Coastal Cabana layer has been embossed with the Beautifully Baroque Textured Impressions Folder, and the Coastal Cabana "flourish" tag has been cut out with the Chalk Talk Framelits. The "for you" has been punched with the 1 1/4" Circle Punch, then layered on a Basic Black 1 3/8"-punched circle. Basic Jewel Rhinestones that have been colored with a Black Sharpie give tis card a little "bling"!

That's all for now! Thanks for stopping by! Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!

Stampin’ Up! Mixed Bunch Swap!

Stampin’ Up! Mixed Bunch Swap!

Good morning! Happy Thursday! I have a swap to share with you today, created by Ruth Bingle, using the Mixed Bunch & Fabulous Phrases stamp sets, Blossom punch, 1 1/4" Circle punch, the Square Lattice Textured Impressions Folder, Midnight Muse 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon, and ink colors of Midnight Muse, Gumball Green, and Summer Starfruit!

Mixed bunch ruth bingle p

Ruth stamped all the flowers from the Mixed Bunch set BEFORE she embossed the layer with the Square Lattice Folder. MUCH easier to get a clean stamping that way!

It's a fun, easy card, don't you think?

Well, I'm still working furiously trying to get ready for my "SWOW" class and Christmas Card class on Friday and Saturday, getting ready for  Convention (if I get to go), and Baby Oakley!

Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!

Stampin’ Up! Serene Silhouettes Swap to Share!

Stampin’ Up! Serene Silhouettes Swap to Share!

Good morning! Still mining my swap stash while I play "catch-up" from being sick!

Todays card is one I don't really enjoy making, but they have to be done, don't they?

The creator of the card used Serene Silhouettes and Thoughts & Prayers stamp sets, the Oval Collection Framelits, the Honeycomb Textured Impressions Folder, Whisper White 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon, Pool Party Core'dinations cardstock, and Island Indigo and Whisper White cardstock to create a truly serene, restful card.

Serene silhouettes

I apologize for the poor lighting. I took these pictures while still stuck on the couch sick on Monday. Pool Party and Pear Pizzazz Stampin' Write Markers were used to ink up the flower image (what kind of flower IS that, anyway? I'm not a horticulturist!), then tiny Basic Jewel Pearls were added to finish them off sweetly.

Thanks for stopping by! Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!

Stampin’ Up! A Swap to Share!

Stampin’ Up! A Swap to Share!

Good morning! I was miserably sick yesterday with the stomach flu. I'm glad I had prepped my blog post on Sunday night, because I had no brains for anything yesterday morning, or for most of the day.

With that said, obviously I did NO STAMPING yesterday at all, so have nothing new to share from me, but I still have some swaps in the vault I haven't shared, so for the next few days that is what I'm going to show you while I play "catch up" with my house, laundry, & business so I can focus on baby Oakley when he arrives! He's due this Friday, so it can't be much longer, can it? Alisa mentioned a few days ago she was beginning to think she was going to be pregnant forever, which of course means it won't be much longer!

Today's card comes from the monthly swap I participate in and uses the Sweetly Framed Hostess set. It's a darling set, especially paired with the Gingham Garden Designer Paper! The background is embossed with the new Modern Mosaic Textured Impressions Folder, and the "for you" greeting is punched with the 7/8" Scallop Circle punch and layered on Artisan Label-punched layers!

Sweetly framed hostess 1

Inside the frame included in the set was stamped with Daffodil Delight ink, then the "Happy Birthday Wishes" from the Simply Sketched Hostess set was stamped inside with Island Indigo ink!

Sweetly framed hostess 2

That's all for now! I'm actually typing this post on Monday night to schedule for Tuesday morning, and I'm about worn out!

Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!
