Stampin’ Up! Painted Blooms Kind & Cozy!

Hey there! Brrrr, it's cold here this morning! We had a cold rain yesterday, followed by cold, windiness! It's under 50 degrees right now, but from what I hear it will be in the 90's by the end next week! That's Southern Illinois weather for ya!

Today's card from the Painted Blooms class uses Kind & Cozy, a set that will be retiring in less than two weeks!

Inside I used one of the teeny-tiny butterflies from Papillon Potpourri and a sentiment from the soon-retiring Hostess set, Hello There:

I stamped the same butterfly with Pool Party on Soft Sky card stock before punching with the Bitty Butterfly punch:

These cards are just so stinkin' cute and easy!

Stampin’ Up! Papillon Potpourri Lattice Spring Card!

Hey there! Thought it was time for a really spring-y card! I received a version of this card as a swap last spring, and I've been "saving" it for a workshop card whenever the right group needed it. A workshop I was scheduled to do has had to be postponed, so I thought I would share this to give us a bit of spring after this long, long, loooong winter:

It'a actually a pretty easy card – the Lattice Bigz Die and the Papillon Potpourri stamps & Bitty Butterfly punch make it easy!

The inside of the card I haven't been saving because I used the "You're Lovely" Sale-a-bration set, which didn't even exist last spring when this card was first created! I thought this open-label stamp was perfect to use this phrase from Petite Pairs. I was originally thinking it would be a birthday card, but it would also make a great "thank-you" or "thinking of you" card!

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Cards From Friends!

Good morning! Instead of my usual "Sunday Swap Day", I have a small collection of cards I have recently received from stamping friends/customers to share with you today. Let's get started!

From Angie Lisk. I love the multiple pennants Angie cut and layered on this card. Pretty much all of the supplies are retired (Angie is a faithful customer!), with the exception of the three Candy Dots in the upper left. Candy Dots are a colorful way to add the look of brad without the holes to pierce or the bulk of the brad legs! Similar to Pearl or Rhinestone Basic Jewels, they are self-adhesive!

From Becky Anderson. Becky's cards are always so calm and peaceful. She is a dear friend I do not get to see often enough!

From Crystal Lopez. Crystal is another faithful stamping friend. She used the current Stippled Blossoms and the "hello" from My Friend. Her color combo is Pool Party, Island Indigo, Gumball Green, Wisteria Wonder, and Rich Razzleberry. I love the splotches of color she created with reinker and a water mister! Crystal is a true color artist.

Last but not least, Meg Wheeler, my dear fellow demonstrator friend, created this lovely card. Meg used a bit of retired Sale-a-bration paper, then paired it with Papillon Potpourri stamps and the Bitty Butterfly punch (on sale this month!), as well as Ovals Collection Framelits. The "hey there friend" greeting is from the My Paper Pumpkin first monthly kit you receive when you subscribe, so it's still available!

Stampin’ Up! Butterfly Bundle New Promotion Starts TODAY!

Good morning! I'm going to start right off with my newest creation, then I will give you the details of the NEW Stampin' Up! promotion, Butterfly Bundle, that just happens to involve two of the products used in todays' card!

For my card base I cut Basic Black cardstock with the new Circle Card Thinlets Die, layered with Modern Medley Designer Paper. The Pink Pirouette scallop circle was cut with the scallop circle thinlet included in the set, (although when compared with the 2 3/8" Scallop Circle Punch they are just about identical in size)

The Butterfly Bundle products used are butteflies from the Papillon Potpourri stamp set and the Bitty Butterfly Punch. How does 15% off when purchased as a bundle sound?

The butterfly was stamped with Versamark after rubbing the Pink Pirouette cardstock with an Embossing Buddy, then sprinkling with Black Embossing Powder. After heating with the Heat Tool, it was punched with the Bitty Butterfly Punch.

ALL of the black images on this card are black heat-embossed. The black-embossed "wish big" from A Dozen Thoughts has a Pink Pirouette Papillon Potpourri butterfly stamped behind it. It is cut out with a cute little label die that is included in the 10-piece Circle Card Thinlet Die set!

Stampin Up! Gifts of Kindness Swap!

Good morning! It's Friday! Oakley's due date! I have a fun little card for you today, a fun-fold actually, similar in dimensions to my card HERE.

The Gifts of Kindess, Papillon Potpourri, and Oh, Hello stamp sets were used, along with the Gingham standard wheel. Cardstock of Real Red & Whisper White pair to create a fun, crisp look! Ink of Real Red & Old Olive, and the Scallop Trim Border Punch all finish off this card spectacularly!

Well, today should be my SWOW class and Christmas Card classes for July. Looking forward to stamping with everyone!
