Stampin’ Up! Thankful Tablescape For Our Thanksgiving!

Stampin’ Up! Thankful Tablescape For Our Thanksgiving!

Hey there! Just a quick post today! We are celebrating the day with family. I used the Stampin' Up! Thankful Tablescape Kit to make these for our table today:

Stampin_up_thankful_tablescape_1

I re-purposed some of the designer paper pieces in the kit to cut more leaves with my  Autumn Accents Bigz Die, and added some 1 1/4" Burlap Ribbon around the belly-band.

I added a little bit of interest by sponging the leaves with Early Espresso ink.

I am assembling a bunch of these for our Thanksgiving Table so all of the adults and some of the kids have one. It does triple-duty as a napin/silverware holder, a place marker, and a "thankful for" list!

I used the Chalk Marker to write my SIL Debbie's name on the "blackboard".

Even though Thanksgiving will be over later today, you can still order the Thankful Tablescape Simply Created Kit until the end of the Holiday Catalog on January 2nd.
I'm going to order some extra so I can make more as our family grows in the coming year.

Supply List:

Thankful Tablescape Simply Created Kit #133463 $19.95

Thankful wood stamp #133313 $7.95

Thankful Tablescape Simply Created Kit & Thankful wood stamp Bundle #133341 $23.95

1 1/4" Burlap Ribbon #132140 $7.95

Autumn Accents Bigz Die #127812 $21.95

Stampin’ Up! Gift Bow Die Angels!

Stampin’ Up! Gift Bow Die Angels!

Hey there! Mark & I went to watch Maddie Kate cheer last night! I love to watch her cheer!

Yesterday was a fun day of stamping and creating! There are a TON of projects I hadn't had time to work on this fall – to many stamps but so little time – so yesterday I remedied that just a little bit! I'm planning one final stamping event at my house on December 13th (yes, a Friday, I'm not superstitous!), "Christmas Catch-Up Customer Appreciation Open House!" This will be one of the projects you can choose to make:

Stampin_up_gift_bow_die_angel_1

These little ladies (are angels girls? I'm not certain they are either sex, but we seem to always refer to them as girls, must be those flowing robes!) are a snap using:

Gift Bow Bigz L Die # 129977 $32.95

Winter Frost Specialty Designer Paper #132341 $12.95

1"Circle Punch #119868 $12.95

1/8" Silver Ribbon #132137 $4.95

Smokey Slate Cardstock #131202 $6.95

Silver Stampin' Emboss Powder #109131 $4.75

The phrase "joy peace love" is from the Christmas Tagables Photopolymer Stamp Set #134623 $13.95.

Stampin_up_gift_bow_die_angel_2

Stampin’ Up! Best of Christmas!

Stampin’ Up! Best of Christmas!

Hey there! I'm posting tonight from my new laptop. The old one (only 2 years, but apparently that is old in laptop years) is on it's last leg. It doesn't charge well anymore, so I decided to upgrade before it completely bit the dust. My techie son, Troy, says he can get all my info from it even if it is dead, as long as the motherboard isn't dead, but I wanted to upgrade before I go to Leadership anyway (and for a end-of-year tax deduction!) so here I am!

I am on a learning curve, as this one runs Windows 8, which is COMPLETELY different than my previous Windows 7, but I am gradually getting used to it. I am also trying to operate without my trusty wireless mouse! I've been mouse-dependent for years, and have been really resistant to using just the built-in mousepad because it seems like every one I've tried to use before, things just sort of went flying around as I was typing – losing my place is frustrating, but this time I think the pad is cooperating with me and nothing so far has flown away! lol!

We had our family get-together for Troy & Logan's birthdays today, and it was a great time! There are 17 of us now, including the babies, so it definitely isn't quiet! I LOVE it!

After everyone went home to tuck the babies in bed, I sat down and created these two projects with the Best of Christmas stamp set:

Stampin_up_best_of_christmas_2

It's a luminaria! I cut the opening for the vellum with one of the Festive Flurry Framelits, then embossed the Crumb Cake layer with the Woodgrain Textured Impressions Folder. I heat embossed the nativity image from Best of Christmas with Early Espresso Stampin' Emboss Powder. I also sponged the texture with Crumb Cake ink.

Stampin_up_best_of_christmas_3

From the side you can see the battery-powered candle I used to light it up!

Stampin_up_best_of_christmas_4

I heat-embossed a phrase from Christmas Messages with Early Espresso powder, then cut it out with a smaller Festive Flurry Framelit. The "Believe" is from Snowflake Soiree, Early Espresso heat-embossed then cut out with an Oval Collection Framelit.

Stampin_up_best_of_christmas_1

For my ornament I Gold Heat Embossed the same image on Crumb Cake, cut it out with a Festive Flurry Framelit, then sponged the edges with Crumb Cake ink. I mounted it on a circle cut from Champagne Glimmer Paper, then another circle of Chocolate Chip. Both circles were cut with Circles Collection Framelits. I Gold heat embossed "Believe" on Chocolate Chip, then cut it out with one of the Circle Card Framelit Dies. I added a hanger to the back of Victoria Crochet Trim. LOVE!

Here's your Supply List for these projects:

Best of Christmas #134384 $14.95 Clear-mount only

Snowflake Soiree #127922 Wood $29.95, #127925 Clear $21.95

Christmas Messages #131790 Wood $28.95, #131793 Clear $20.95

Crumb Cake #120953, Chocolate Chip #102128  8 1/2" x 11 cardstock $6.95 each (24 sheets)

Very Vanilla #101650 8 1/2" x 11" cardstock $8.50 (40 sheets)

White Vellum cardstock #101856 $6.50 8 1/2" x 11" (20 sheets)

Festive Flurry Framelits #132193 $24.95

Woodgrain Textured Impressions Folder #127821 $7.95

Other supplies: Embossing Buddy, Versamark, Early Espresso Stampin' Emboss Powder, Heat Tool, Stampin' Sponge, Stampin' Trimmer, SNAIL Adhesive, Sticky Strip, Oval Collection Framelits, Champagne Glimmer Paper, Circles Collection Framelits, Stampin' Dimensionals, Circle Card Thinlet Dies, Victoria Crochet Trim

Stampin’ Up! Dress Up Framelits Mrs. Claus!

Stampin’ Up! Dress Up Framelits Mrs. Claus!

Hey there! Busy weekend. I had my final Christmas Trimmings Class Saturday, then started prepping to celebrate Troy & Logan's birthdays Sunday. Troy's birthday is the 19th and Logan's is the 22nd, so we always celebrate them together. We try to have a separate day than Thanksgiving (although some years Logan's birthday is ON the day), so today is our selected day. We are also hoping to take our family Christmas picture, and are hoping for outside, but since it's been so cold (17 degrees and windy), I'm not sure that will happen!

The card I have for you today was created by a couple of my stampers, Donna Ninness and Diane Richardson, as Diane's Christmas Card. I took a picture of it at the monthly class we have in Marion:

Stampin_up_dress_up_framelits_mrs_claus_1

They CASED a Pinterest find, using the Dress Up Framelits, Scallop Circle Punch, and Petals a Plenty Textured Impressions Folder to create an adorable Mrs. Claus dress! LOVE IT!!!!!!!

Stampin_up_dress_up_framelits_mrs_claus_2

The colored a Rhinestone Basic Jewel with a red Sharpie Marker and added some retired white flocking to her collar to give it that warm, fuzzy, Mrs. Claus look!

That's all for now. I've got to get to bed so I can cook up a storm in the morning before church! Looking forward to warming up my kitchen!

You can purchase the Dress Up Framelits and the Petals a Plenty folder when you shop my Online Store: www.carolpayne.stampinup.net

Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!
