Stampin’ Up! Trim the Tree and Cheerful Christmas!

Stampin’ Up! Trim the Tree and Cheerful Christmas!

Hey there! Today's card was created before the "big computer crash". I am finally starting to see some light at the end of the tunnel of sorting, deleting, and uploading to Dropbox!

I used the Trim the Tree Designer Series Paper Stack and the Cheerful Christmas stamp set:

When the card opens:

Here's the supply list for this card. When I get the class handout made for this one I will add some tips for cutting and folding the front of this double gate-fold card.

You can purchase all the supplies to make this in my online store:

Hey there! It's Weekly Deals Day! yay! I'm pretty excited about this week's deals! LOTS of Big Shot products – even one I don't have! The Party Pennants Die has been on my Wish List (yes, I do have one!) since the Annual Catalog came out, so it's  defintely on my order this week!

You can also click on any of the items listed below and that will take you to my store too!

NOTE: The prices shown are the regular catalog pricing. When you go to my online store the SALE prices will be in effect: 25% OFF!!!!

Use Hostess Code: BYEZBY4Q

When you place an order of at least $35 (before shipping and sales tax) you will receive your choice of a fall or halloween tutorial in your inbox free from me!

That's all for now. I have three workshops to prep for this week, a doctor's appointment AND a dentist appointment! eeek! I'm also still adding back more features that were lost when my hard-drive crashed before Founder's. Yesterday I unpacked, did a mountain of laundry, restored my Pinterest button on my toolbar and signed up for a terabyte of storage for my photos and documents with Dropbox. Yikes!

Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!

Stampin’ Up! Founder’s Circle Day Two!

Stampin’ Up! Founder’s Circle Day Two!

Hey there! Oh my! Stampin' Up! really knows how to spoil their demonstrators! Thank you Stampin' Up! and my stampin' customer friends for making it possible for me to enjoy this retreat!

Thursday, September 18th was all about relaxing and being spoiled rotten by Stampin' Up!

Stampin_up_home_for_the_holidays_5

I spent much of my day in the Gathering Place, relaxing and visiting with friends!

Stampin_up_founders_circle_gathering_place

Stampin' Up! decorated the Gathering Place to reflect the "Home for the Holidays" theme!

This is my friend Derek Christiansen. Derek & I go way back to the first Stampin' Up! Regional I ever attended. Derek & I have a special bond because he interviewed me on stage at the Kansas City Regional. It was his and my first appearance on stage for Stampin' Up! Derek is now runs all of the events for Stampin' Up!, but he always has time to chat with old friends!

Founder's Circle wouldn't be Founder's Circle without yummy treats:
Stampin_up_founders_circle_mug_of_love

Besides offering a vast array of yumminess for our tummies, each jar was beautifully decorated with adorable tags to inspire our creativity!

Stampin_up_founders_circle_holiday_cheer

Pretty much all the decor was accented with products from the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog! BTW: we get to keep the mug! yay!

Stampin_up_founder_circle_joy

The highlight of this day, of course, is the Business Share and Swap!

Stampin' Up! CEO and Co-Founder, Shelli Gardner, greeted us, then it was on to the Share and the Swap, all while wearing our jammies!

Here's all 113 of the swaps I created with the Bright & Beautiful stamp set and Star framelit dies:

Stampin_up_founders_circle_swap_before

Here are swaps I received in return:

Stampin_up_founders_circle_swaps

You will be getting to see these up-close in the next few weeks of Sunday Swap Days!

That's all for now! I will be sharing more Founder's Circle fun over the next few days, but be sure to come back tomorrow for Sunday Swap Day!

Until then, have a Stampingrox! day!

Stampin’Up! Holiday Home!

Stampin’Up! Holiday Home!

Hey there! It's Monday! I know many people hate Mondays, start dreading Monday morning on Sunday night, but I don't. I used to when I had a day-job, but since I became a full-time Stampin' Up! demo, Mondays are an exciting day for me! A whole new week to play with my stamps and accomplish things on both my "To Do" and "Want To" lists! Do you have a "Want To" list, or are all of your lists "To Do's"? Start a "Want To" list, make sure you accomplish one or two of them every week, and see if it doesn't help your outlook on Mondays!

Now that I'm off my advice-column soapbox, here's the Holiday Home card that we will be making at my Christmas Card Class this week:

Stampin_up_holiday_home_1

If you are local (and even if you are not) you can participate in my September Christmas Card Class. Just contact me to let me know you are coming to class or want to place a minimum $35 order to receive the class kits by mail. You will receive the kits to make all three cards in this class, (today's Holiday Home card plus two more, two each of the three different designs for a total of SIX cards!)

Here's the supply list for today to place your order in my Online Store: www.carolpayne.stampinup.net

Stampin’ Up! Folded Chevron!

Stampin’ Up! Folded Chevron!

Hey there! We are heading home from Branson today. We've had a lovely time, but I'm ready to see our family!

Today's card is for September's Punch & Technique class. This is my version of the Folded Chevron technique I've seen several of:

Stampin_up_color_me_autumn_chevrons_1

This is an excellent technique to use up those little scraps of designer paper we all have! I chose to use a stamp from the Merry Everything set, punched with the new Note Tag Punch. I pulled Cajun Craze, Mossy Meadow, and Crushed Curry from the  Color Me Autumn Designer Paper I used for the folded Chevrons.

Stampin_up_gifts_of_kindness
Inside I used stamps from the Gifts of Kindness set, colored with the same Stampin' Write markers that I used on the outside image.

Like this one? A tutorial and card using this technique will be included in one of the September Fall tutorials I will be revealing on September 15th during the September Stamper's Dozen Blog hop! This tutorial will be part of my new Bluesox Rewards program for online orders beginning that day, so be sure to come back and check it all out!

Although I am revealing the new Bluesox Rewards program on Sept. 15, your online orders with me now will be eligible for the program!

Here's the supply list for today's card. When you are ready to place your order you can go to my online store by clicking here:www.carolpayne.stampinup.net
