Stampin’ Up! Santa Owl!

Stampin’ Up! Santa Owl!

Hey there! Now that the Stampers Dozen Blog Hop is over this month, I can start showing you the rest of the projects I created!

Today's project is another little gift bag embellished with a "Santa Owl"!

Stampin_up_owl_punch_1

I used Under the Tree Specialty Designer Series Paper for the bag. This paper is extra heavy, so nice and sturdy. I love this "snowflake" print in white on the kraft colored paper.

I created the owl using the Owl Builder Punch, the 1 3/4" Scallop Circle Punch, and the Petite Pennants Builder Punch. His vest is punched from another print from the Under the Tree Specialty Designer Series Paper, and the sparkle on his hat is punched from Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper with the same size circle on the Owl Builder Punch as the pupils of this eyes. There are SO MANY uses for the Owl Punch!

Frosted Sequins add the perfect finishto the Word Window-punched Petite Pairs greeting, don't you think?

That's all for now. LOTS on my plate this week, so I've got to get busy!

Here's the supply list for todays' project. You can order all of your supplies in my Online Store: www.carolpayne.stampinup.net

Stamper’s Dozen Blog Hop November Edition Happy Holidays!

Stamper’s Dozen Blog Hop November Edition Happy Holidays!

Hey there! Today's the 15th! It's Stamper's Dozen Blog Hop Day! yay!

If you are already on the hop you probably just came from Stella MacKays' blog, Stellar Stamps!  I just loved Stella's gift box decorations, didn't you?  So cute and festive!

I combined the Ornamental Pine set with Bird Builder punch art:

I heat-embossed the Ornamental Pine branch with white on Baked Brown Sugar cardstock, then "built" my cardinal using the Bird Builder Punch. I sponged the Cherry Cobbler pieces with Cherry Cobbler ink for depth of color, then nestled the birdie on a couple of Always Artichoke leaf sprays punched with the same Bird Builder punch.

The Petite Pairs "merry christmas" greeting and Frosted Sequin snowflake add just the right touch for a warm and cozy card!

I used my Rotary Trimmer Attachment on my Stampin' Trimmer with the Small Scallops blade on the to of the bag and the lower edge of the card front.

Inside the card I used the Beauty of the Season set:

Stampin’ Up! Snowflake Card Thinlets Dies!

Stampin’ Up! Snowflake Card Thinlets Dies!

Hey there! It's Tuesday and a Liam Day! yay!

Here's another card we will make at my Christmas Card Class this week using the Snowflake Card Thinlets Dies:

Stampin_up_snowfalke_thinlet_1 - Copy

The glitz and glam on this card makes it really hard to show you just how gorgeous it is! I used Silver Foil paper cut with the snowflake thinlet die, then added an All is Calm Snowflake Embellishment and a Rhinestone to the center. I cut scrap cardstock with the same snowflake die, then used the negative from cutting (the hole after the snowflake is removed) to sponge Silver Encore Metallic ink on the Night of Navy card base. Frosted Sequins and more Rhinestones add to the "snowstorm" effect.

Stampin_up_snowflake_thinlet_2 - Copy

Flipping the snowflake center shows you the "for you" 1" Circle-punched greeting from the Letterpress Winter photopolymer set, layered on a silver foil-punched 1 3/4" Scallop Circle.

Stampin_up_snowflake_thinlet_3 - Copy

The card fully opens to reveal sentiments from the And Many More  and Watercolor Winter Too photopolymer sets with more silver-sponged snowflakes on the Whisper White.

Stampin’Up! Holiday Home!

Stampin’Up! Holiday Home!

Hey there! It's Monday! I know many people hate Mondays, start dreading Monday morning on Sunday night, but I don't. I used to when I had a day-job, but since I became a full-time Stampin' Up! demo, Mondays are an exciting day for me! A whole new week to play with my stamps and accomplish things on both my "To Do" and "Want To" lists! Do you have a "Want To" list, or are all of your lists "To Do's"? Start a "Want To" list, make sure you accomplish one or two of them every week, and see if it doesn't help your outlook on Mondays!

Now that I'm off my advice-column soapbox, here's the Holiday Home card that we will be making at my Christmas Card Class this week:

Stampin_up_holiday_home_1

If you are local (and even if you are not) you can participate in my September Christmas Card Class. Just contact me to let me know you are coming to class or want to place a minimum $35 order to receive the class kits by mail. You will receive the kits to make all three cards in this class, (today's Holiday Home card plus two more, two each of the three different designs for a total of SIX cards!)

Here's the supply list for today to place your order in my Online Store: www.carolpayne.stampinup.net
