Stampin’ Up! The Wilderness Awaits for Mark!

Stampin’ Up! The Wilderness Awaits for Mark!

Hey there! I should have posted this card yesterday in my Father's Day post, but I hadn't taken the pics yet, so here it is for today!

As soon as I saw "The Wilderness Awaits" set in the new catalog I knew I wanted it for Mark's Father's Day card. The "Admired, respected, loved . . . , that's you" phrase perfectly describes my husband, so I had to have it!

Stampin_up_the_wilderness_awaits_1 - Copy

I used my current favorite card layout, the slider pop-up!

Stampin_up_the_wilderness_awaits_2 - Copy

The wood paneling layer is from the Farmer's Market Designer Series Paper. I stamped off the elk for the central image and on the paneling layer. Tip Top Taupe was perfect to sponge on the Very Vanilla. I also sponged a bit of Soft Sky around the outside edges of the elk.

This card had lots of creative spaces for all of the family to sign!

I laid the Expressions Natural Element directly on my Early Espresso inkpad, then quickly dried it with my Heat Tool:

Stampin’ Up! Garden in Bloom!

Stampin’ Up! Garden in Bloom!

Hey there! I have been stamping! I KNOW. It's been a while. I had some major time commitments earlier this month, but finally I got to stamp!

One of my first creations back at my crafting table is this little beauty with Garden in Bloom stamps and English Garden Designer Series Paper:

Stampin_up_garden_in_bloom_1 - Copy

The English Garden Designer Series Paper makes it look like you've spent HOURS stamping. All you have to do is take a deep breath and CUT this gorgeous paper!

After stamping the 2" x 3" Whisper White I punched the left side with the Ornate Tag Topper Punch. I threaded about 4 inches of Venetian Crochet Trim through the hole, then tied it off with Metallic Gold Thread. This thread is extremely thin, but sturdy. It adds just a tiny glint of sparkle!

Stampin’ Up! Sprinkles of Life Mini-Treat Bag!

Stampin’ Up! Sprinkles of Life Mini-Treat Bag!

Hey there! I had a super-busy weekend with my New Catalog Open House on Saturday. LOTS of stamping friends came by to pick up their spiral-bound catalog, do a little Make & Take, sign up for classes, and shop my BOGO sale!

Today I have a new project for you using the Sprinkles of Life stamp set and the Mini Treat Bag Thinlets Die. This project is part of the June Online Class:

Stampin_up_sprinkles_of_life_1 - Copy

I decided to use the Cherry On Top Designer Paper to help me decide my color choices for the ice cream scoops: Mint Macaron, Tip Top Taupe, and Watermelon Wonder. It's so easy to punch out the scoops with the Tree Builder Punch!

Three scoops on the front, then when you pull the fourth  scoop out of the bag you find an easy gift card holder:

Stampin_up_sprinkles_of_life_2 - Copy

The die cuts two separate sections for the bag, so I used two different prints from the stack:

Stampin_up_sprinkles_of_life_3 - Copy

See this copyright stamp on the back? It's from the Better Than E-mail photopolymer set that is only available for a little while longer. All the stamps in the set have the Stampin' Up! copyright symbols on them so you can stamp them on the back of the cards and creations you want to sell. Check out this set in my online store:

Stampin’ Up! Oh My Goodies for Mr. Ligon!

Stampin’ Up! Oh My Goodies for Mr. Ligon!

Hey there! Today a special man from my church has a milestone birthday. Mr. William Ligon is turning 98 today!

"Bill" has faithfully attended our church for many, many years. His wife, Bea, passed away several years ago, but Bill has continued to attend every morning service!

Here's a little bio from our Ina Free Will Baptist Facebook page:

An honored WWII veteran, Bill was born on June 5, 1917, and has lived his lifetime in and around Ina where he (and his beloved wife Bea) raised two sons, served on school boards, and the Ina Village Board. A retired coal miner, he was one of the A Team that labored in the 1980's to add a fellowship hall and classrooms to our church.

Since every birthday is a milestone, I decided to use a stamp from "Oh My Goodies":

Stampin_up_oh_my_goodies_1 - Copy

I created TWO cards, one portrait and one landscape, to show you how easy it is to achieve a fresh look.

Stampin_up_oh_my_goodies_4 - Copy

I stamped  "happy upteenth birthday" three times, once in Cucumber Crush and twice in Pacific Point. I hand-cut with my Paper Snips the two center pieces so they could be paper-pieced:

Inside and envelope are stamped with Big News:
