Stampin’ Up! Flower Shop Slider Card!

Stampin’ Up! Flower Shop Slider Card!

Good Monday mornin' to you! We had a BLAST yesterday at Jessica's, celebrating our August Birthdays! Here's some glimpses of our pool time (we weren't even all in yet!):

Pool

Liam loves the water! He stayed in the whole time, almost 2 hours, and never complained at all!

Liam

Jaxon not so much. As soon as PaPa came out, he was ready to spend the rest of the afternoon on his lap!

Jaxon

Oakley got to dabble his toes a bit for his first outing at the pool:

Getting ready to take some underwater pics:

It truly was a lovely afternoon. I got a little bit of sun, which is hard for me because I have to be very careful with sunscreen (my face is allergic to all kinds), but no burn, so that's good!

It was an afternoon of lunch, gifts for all the August birthday peeps, pool, then supper and games! Fun!

Today's card is a slider I received in a swap in June. There are tutorials out there for this one, but I haven't personally made one yet. Hmmm. . . guess I need to figure this one out!

This one combined the Flower Shop  and Mixed Bunch stamps  with the Pansy and Blossom punches.

The greeting is from the Express Yourself Hostess set.

When the slider is opened it reveals a phrase from the Label Love!

That's all for now! It's a Liam day, so I'm outta here!

Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!

Stampin’ Up! Mixed Bunch Swap!

Stampin’ Up! Mixed Bunch Swap!

Good morning! Happy Thursday! I have a swap to share with you today, created by Ruth Bingle, using the Mixed Bunch & Fabulous Phrases stamp sets, Blossom punch, 1 1/4" Circle punch, the Square Lattice Textured Impressions Folder, Midnight Muse 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon, and ink colors of Midnight Muse, Gumball Green, and Summer Starfruit!

Mixed bunch ruth bingle p

Ruth stamped all the flowers from the Mixed Bunch set BEFORE she embossed the layer with the Square Lattice Folder. MUCH easier to get a clean stamping that way!

It's a fun, easy card, don't you think?

Well, I'm still working furiously trying to get ready for my "SWOW" class and Christmas Card class on Friday and Saturday, getting ready for  Convention (if I get to go), and Baby Oakley!

Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!

Stampin’ Up! Yes, Mam’s! Shoebox Swap Card #2!

Stampin’ Up! Yes, Mam’s! Shoebox Swap Card #2!

Good morning! Today's sample was created by another of my dear friends and downline, Angela Henson!

Angela chose the Gingham Garden Washi Tape colors of Melon Mambo, Island Indigo, and Daffodil Delight for her cards' color palette, in addition to Mixed Bunch and Loving Thoughts stamps, the Blossom Punch, and the 1" Circle Punch!

Angela 1

On the inside I layered the Daffodil Delight ink over the Melon Mambo ink using two different Mixed Bunch stamps. I like the effect!

Angela 2

Here's a fun and easy idea to coordinate your envelope: just add strips of Gingham Garden Washi Tape to the flap! I love how easy it is to attach, because the tacky adhesive is already on the tape! Fun!

Stampin’Up! Today Is the Last Day to order from the Occasions Mini!

Stampin’Up! Today Is the Last Day to order from the Occasions Mini!

Today is the last day to order from the Occasions Mini AND the last day for the Summer Smooches Sneak Peek! Here's a swap from the Spring Into Stamping Event I attended this month using the "Bright Blossoms" stamp set and the "Summer Smooches" Designer Paper and Fabric! I've had these on my camera for more than a week and today was the first chance I've had to download them!

I love this swap, but wasn't able to bring the real thing home with me so I don't know who the creator was! The "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" greeting is also from a set that will be unavailable after today, "Loved Ones"!

I have a BUNCH of great stamping idea pictures from this event which I will be sharing a few over the next week or so. Here's a full card that someone made for the "Spring Into Stamping" leader Kim Peck. Kim is moving from Central Illinois to California, so everyone was signing this "we will miss you, friend" card:

Mixed bunch 1

This was a large 8 1/2 x 5 1/2" card using an entire 8 1/2 x 11 cardstock base folded in half. No envelope was needed as this was hand-delivered to Kim at the end of this event. The creator used the "My Friend" and "Perfectly Penned" stamp sets, which are not retiring, but also used the "Mixed Bunch" stamp set to create the lacy butterfly, which will be unavailable after today!

I have one last order going in for this month tonight at 10 p.m. CST, so if there are some Occasions Mini or Summer Smooches items you need to order, just contact me by phone or email and I will get them ordered for you!

Until tomorrow, have a "Stampingrox!" day!

Stampin’ Up! Mixed Bunch Blossom Punch Make n Take from Leadership!

Stampin’ Up! Mixed Bunch Blossom Punch Make n Take from Leadership!

I found this card as I was finishing up the projects for the Tea Shoppe, one of the M & T's from Leadership. At every Stampin' Up! event they always give us one card project that contains enough supplies to make two of the same, then we donate one to the local Ronald McDonald House. This card is this RMH card, and I had forgotten how cute it was! (I also had forgotten WHERE it was, so finding it was a big surprise, but we won't go there! ha!)

We snipped the blossom petals with Paper Snips to give it more dimension and then layered it over a second solid punched blossom. So fun and easy! The center flower is from the Blossom Builders Designer Printed Kit in the Occasions Mini. The button in the center is from the Brights Buttons Collection that is still free with a $50 Sale-a-bration order until March 31st! We also created our own "ric rac" with the Scallop Border Punch! Fun!

Well, I'd better get going, need to finish setting up for "Tea Shoppe" today! I still have 6 extra kits not spoken for, so if you want to order one, just let me know!

Until tomorrow, have a "Stampingrox!" Day!

My Bad!

My Bad!

I goofed! In all the mess of my internet being down this past weekend, I totally forgot to upload the tutorial for the Mixed Bunch Dazzling Diamond Dust Quilted Card with the Multi-purpose Adhesive Sheets! Launa sweetly reminded me, (thank you, Launa!) and so here it is! I will post the card again just to refresh all of our memories:

And here's the tutorial: (Note, if you print it out it will take 3 pages, I haven't learned how to make pdf's yet, but it's on my future agenda!)

Ok, I think that catches me up for a minute! lol!

Please continue to ask questions if something here doesn't seem quite as it should be. I truly appreciate the help! The last thing I want to do is promise you something and then not follow through!

Until tomorrow, have a "Stampingrox!" Day!
